Now reading: Chapter 158 - 158 82 Before the Meeting1 from High School of Demon Hunting, a Fantasy novel by Solemn Knight.

158: Chapter 82 Before the eting_1 158: Chapter 82 Before the eting_1 Main Building East 601.

This is both the classroom for the magic spell course and the place where Professor Yao designated for Astronomy Class 08-1 to hold their regular Sunday evening etings.

It is now dusk, not yet seven o’clock.

The students of the Astronomy Class 08-1 haven’t all arrived yet and the classroom bustles like a market.

Compared to the dayti classes, the deep starry sky on the ceiling of the classroom has many more dazzling star spots, their projected lines of light are therefore much brighter.

There is no writing on the dark green blackboard, only so remaining chalk marks speaking of its past busyness.

Perhaps due to it being non-working hours, not one of the grey-uniford elves can be seen.

This disappointed Zheng Qing.

He was hoping that his elf could establish good relations and make friends with those little guys in grey uniforms – this might be beneficial to their health.

A thin transparent light film covers the experint table on the left side of the classroom, probably having a dust-proof spell applied to it.

Through the tall windows on the right side of the classroom, one can still feel the faint afterglow of the setting sun.

“Happy weekend!” The little bald man behind the classroom door cheerfully greets each student who cos in.

Zheng Qing noticed that it still doesn’t have a hat.

Just as he hesitated for the second ti whether or not to add a few strokes to draw a hat for the little man, a group of people had already whooshed in around him.

“So cute!”

“Are these the elves you were going to rescue?”

“How did you revive them!”

“I really want to raise a group of elves too!”

Many classmates – mostly girls – with bright eyes, looked at the dozens of elves fluttering around Zheng Qing, whooshed in and chattered incessantly.

The elves, startled by the sudden onslaught, quickly hid in the various pockets of Zheng Qing’s robe.

Zheng Qing, dazed by the questions hurled at him, soon completely forgot about the hatless, bald little man on the paper behind the door.

“Don’t push, don’t rush.” He scread, desperately preventing so hands that were ssing around in his arms – he started regretting letting the elves crawl into the pockets of his robe – blushing, he shouted, “I’ll hand them over, don’t rush, after the eting, give the elves back to !”

The female students crowding around also showed satisfied smiles, each taking one of Zheng Qing’s elves with them.

Perhaps because they had returned from the brink of death, the young elves had beco much bolder.

Seeing that their owner did not oppose, they happily landed on the shoulders of those girls, quietly enjoying their kindness.

Zheng Qing let out a long sigh.

Indeed, a favor from a beauty is the hardest to bear, he thought to himself, smoothing out his robe narcissistically.

Then he looked around and did not see Elena, he couldn’t help but fell a sense loss.

“Leave of absence.” He lazily walked up to Class President Tang Dun, handing him a note, “Li ng and Jiang Yu can’t co to the eting today, so they asked to bring this note.”

After leaving Doctor Du Zemu’s research institute, Jiang Yu declined Zheng Qing’s invitation to a al and quietly disappeared into the bustling pedestrian street.

At the sa ti, she gave Zheng Qing a leave slip, asking him to help her ask for a leave.

“ng ng needs to rest, I guess she won’t be able to go to class for a few days.” Jiang Yu apologized, looking at him, she added, “I need to look after her…

so, sorry for the trouble.”

For the beauty who had just done him a big favor, Zheng Qing naturally felt obligated to help.

“Only one leave slip for both of them?” The headmaster Tang took a skeptical look at him, unclear why two girls’ leave slips were being handed over by a boy.

But he clearly wouldn’t blurt out such an embarrassing question.

“Jiang Yu only gave this excuse slip,” Zheng Qing scratched his head and answered honestly, “I figured they were both absent for the sa reason, so I didn’t separate them.”

“Your little elf is healed?

Congratulations, congratulations.” Tang Dun didn’t dwell on the issue.

After accepting the excuse slip, he cheerfully congratulated him, “That’s really not easy!”

It’s already been a week since the school started.

The students of Astronomy 08-1 class all know that Zheng Qing is running around trying to save a group of little elves – reportedly, he wants to rescue a group of elves who lost their masters.

So people ridicule, so dissuade, and so are full of emotion.

But almost everyone does not think he can save these little elves.

“Give up!”

“It’s not your fault.”

Many people have tried to comfort him this way.

Every adult wizard knows certain common sense in life.

For instance, being bitten by a demon will fall into a witch demon, the most beautiful woman in the wizard world is Su Shijun.

Or, after the death of the owner of little elves, they will die with their masters.

This is a summarization of countless experiences.

For so wizards, it’s almost a truth.

So, the fact that Zheng Qing successfully rescued these elves is a shock to every young wizard.

“Saving these elves is not hard, it’s just that everyone habitually overlooks them,” the young scholarship student patiently explained to each visitor, “And, the real savior is not .”

“But not everybody would do their utmost to save them.” Liu Fei Fei, hugging her big snake, smiled at him, “Seeing them wake up is a joy.”

“As expected of this year’s second-place winner, truly impressive.” Tang Dun, the headmaster, also patted his shoulder and praised.

“Thanks to Jiang Yu’s help,” Zheng Qing waved his hand, but his tone was still a bit worried: “Besides, the little elves are not really healthy yet…

I just temporarily woke them up…

the complete rescue is not that simple.”

“Where there’s a will, there’s a way,” Tang Dun tucked the signed excuse slip into his notebook and comforted, “If you can save them once, you can do it a second ti.”

Zheng Qing nodded, took a deep breath, and made his way to the back of the class.

Before he left, he suddenly rembered sothing and asked, “Is Old Yao coming today?”

“He should be.” Tang Dun was also uncertain, “Today is the first class eting, and then what happened last night…

You know, right?”

Zheng Qing nodded with understanding.

The Class 2 murder case on the lakeside of Bell Lake is already spreading among the newcors.

Even many senior students are showing so interest in this case.

On the way to the classroom, Zheng Qing heard more than once that people were vowing to capture the brutal murderer.

So even set up sites around campus to recruit hunters to chase the killer.

In the boys’ gathering circle at the back of the classroom, Zheng Qing heard this kind of talk again.

“If I ever co across this demon, I’ll let him taste the power of my fists!” Zhang Ji Xin was spitting everywhere as he yelled, his face glowing red: “Such a cruel monster deserves to descend into the endless hell!”

The crowd went wild with praise, fully supporting his stance.

“That’s assuming you can find the murderer.” Zheng Qing listened for a while, noticing that everyone was talking about how to eliminate the murderer, he couldn’t help but point out: “And has anyone confird that the murderer is a demon?”

“Except for a demon, who could do such a brutal thing!” Duan Xiao Jian retorted from the side.

Seeing Zheng Qing, Zhang Ji Xin’s radiant face quickly faded to a pale one.

He quietly tugged at Xin Fat Man, who was dozing off at the table.

At the sa ti, he tried to shrink back into the small gap between the desks.
