Linda Barnes finally showed great rcy and led Zheng Qing through several hidden doors and winding corridors back to the lakeside of Lin Zhong Lake at Jiuyou Academy.
Only then did the young cost student realize that not every guest attending the ball needed to take a carriage or a pumpkin car. These were tools to highlight the esteed status of certain guests. Most young wizards still traveled to the ballroom in the most primitive way.
“You don’t interact much with the most orthodox Clans of the Moon at the school, so you might not know their strange and outdated rules. Attend a few more such balls, and you’ll understand…”
“I don’t want to understand their rules.” Zheng Qing declined the suggestion of the blonde witch with appreciation.
On the way back, Linda brought up the question she had repeated many tis again: “Why won’t Su Councilor agree to an interview? Does she have any conditions? I can agree to them.”
“Why do you have to interview her?” The boy rubbed his temple helplessly.
“Because I’m about to graduate.”
The forr deputy editor of the campus newspaper showed a trace of lancholy on her face: “I’m not good at fighting, and I don’t plan to join any hunting team to venture into the New World or anywhere else. “Like who?”
“How about Korma, the North District Great Wise Person? She’s only a year ahead of you and is a younger Big Wizard than Su Councilor. With your connections, it shouldn’t be hard to interview her, right?”
Linda Barnes almost imdiately shook her head: “The North District Wizards are in a very delicate situation right now, and Senior Sister Korma’s advancent ceremony is also very special… The Alliance won’t like such an article.”

Upon encountering them again, Zheng Qing unexpectedly felt a tinge of nostalgia.

“Do you know Professor Montreya?” he asked softly.
The blonde witch thought for a mont and then gave an accurate answer: “An expert in magic script and bloodline at the First University, one of the top registered wizards, has his own independent laboratory in the school, and might advance to Big Wizard at any ti… What’s special about him?”
She very keenly sensed the abruptness in the boy’s suggestion.
Zheng Qing said vaguely: “I’m not sure either, but I’ve heard from an elder before that Professor Montreya had so very radical ideas about bloodline research… Of course, as far as I know, the school is well aware of this situation, and those ideas are just ideas… I an, maybe you could investigate those ravens by interviewing professionals.”

Although the witch still shook her head, her gaze revealed a hint of contemplation, indicating she might be tempted.
Zheng Qing seized the mont: “Besides, you’re not fighting alone. If you uncover any clues, my Atonent Hunting Team, and even the Fringe Hunting Team, would assist you… Do you know who the advisor of the Fringe Hunting Team is? The blonde witch squinted her eyes slightly.
