Now reading: Chapter 239 - 239 163 Jamaican1 from High School of Demon Hunting, a Fantasy novel by Solemn Knight.

239: Chapter 163 Jamaican_1 239: Chapter 163 Jamaican_1 A Jamaican man in a silver suit stands at the door of classroom 201.

His hair braided into small dreads, his skin glossy and black, his body robust.

Even in the large robe, the trendous power contained in his muscular body is tangible.

Ten more minutes to class, the classroom is in a hubbub.

Students are either discussing the imminent Moon Hunting, or talking about the mysterious beast near the Lakeside of Bell Lake, or simply dozing off with their textbooks in their arms, making up for the never enough sleep.

Seemingly, no one notices this guest standing at the door of the classroom.

The Jamaican man subtly observes the freshn, with a slight hint of nostalgia on his face.

A few years ago, he was sitting here, having grand conversations with his friends, daringly speculating about the prestige of the grand wizards, and freely comnting on the risings stars on the wanted list.

Now, he has matured a lot.

Though only a year or two older than the young people in the classroom, he has co to realize that so truths are really just illusions, so people will sabotage the hidden rules of magic by acting recklessly, and sotis, it only takes a few short months to mature from naivety.

Noon sunlight shines through the tall French windows, casting shadows of varied depth on the floor.

The breeze blows, causing the clouds in the sky to flow, making these shades tremble intensely, bringing the daydreaming Jamaican man back to reality.

After a mont, he raps on the classroom door with his knuckles.

“Thunk, thunk, thunk!”

The sound is neither loud nor quiet, but everybody in the classroom can hear it clearly.

The once lively atmosphere slightly subsides.

Many people inspect this uninvited guest with surprised eyes.

“Who is he?”

“Never seen him before…

Is he a third-year retaking student?”

“Can people fail in history class too!

Unbelievable…

I’ve never heard of it…”

“He does look a bit older…

Maybe he is a new teaching assistant?”

“Oh…

No, I ca to attend this class faithfully for the Beautiful Lady Sima…

If I have to look at this big black face all morning…

I’m going to have nightmares all night!”

Maybe the last critical comnt is a bit loud, it sounds rather abrupt and impolite in the spacious classroom.

The stranger at the door’s expression stalls a bit, he fights the urge to throw a few small-scale damaging spells in the room, and stiffens his posture a bit more.

Because he rembers his mission.

So he must pay attention to his image.

“Ahem!”

The stick figure on the back of the door sticker wakes up at so point and coughs twice.

Two snot bubbles hang from its nose, in the monotonous coil of its eyes, there can vaguely be seen a shadow of heavy black.

“The teacher isn’t here yet!” it delivers this important ssage in a very solemn manner.

Many people let out a sigh of relief.

This ans, the strange black man at the classroom door isn’t a teaching assistant covering the history class.

The beautiful Teacher Sima will still appear on that three feet wide podium soon.

But so still maintain a doubtful attitude.

After all, the ‘infamous’ can describe the behavior of these stick figures, many freshn have already been fooled by their lies, hence precaution is necessary.

“First Student Union Vice Chairman, Alpha Academy Student Union Chairman, the King in Arcana Star Coin, three consecutive tuition-free student, leader of the Blood Comrades, the Great Augustus…..”

The stick figure on the paper raises its voice and recites this title filled with adjectives in one breath and then stamrs.

“You…

what’s your relationship with Augustus again?” It tilts its head, covers its mouth, and asks the Jamaican man in a loud whisper, “What’s your na again?”

There’s one second of silence in the classroom.

Then cos the roaring laughter.

Many people are pounding on the desk, holding their stomachs, laughter bringing tears to their eyes.

“That’s hilarious!” Zheng Qing’s face twists with laughter, he grabs Xiao Xiao’s shoulder, pumls the table, and laughs, “I never knew these stick figures could be so funny…”

“Image,” Xiao Xiao struggles to straighten his skewed glasses on his nose bridge, his voice is trembling too, “Think about your image…

you are a tuition-free student of Jiuyou Academy.”

Sothing must have ticked Zheng Qing’s funny bone, he is laughing so hard that he slides under the table.

The Jamaican man at the door can’t help but laugh as well.

“Excuse ,” he waves at the new students, saying cheerfully, “Even though I don’t co to the academy for classes very often…

but I rember these stick figures weren’t always this outrageous.”

His voice isn’t loud, he still speaks rapidly, but each word is very clear, everyone can hear them clearly.

“What did you say?” The stick figure on the paper stands akimbo, loudly demanding, “Young man, there is responsibility in speaking!

What do you an by outrageous…”

The Jamaican man ignores it and simply snaps his fingers.

A small elf from the blackboard dashes down fast, hands a piece of chalk to the Jamaican man.

“As seniors, we are here to give you a little trick.”

While he speaks, the Jamaican man grabs the chalk and starts to scribble on the stick figure, all the while talking:

“Although the predecessors have used very interesting magic skills on these stick figures, these are just drawings after all…

and simply, stick figure drawings…

don’t expect too much magic mystery hidden in those lonely lines…

and do not expect any superior stain-proof spells attached to this bare paper.”

While he talks, the stick figure under the thick chalk dust has started to disappear from the paper.

Soon, its figure vanishes from the paper.

“Just like a window, when you don’t like the view outside, you simply pull the curtains,” the Jamaican man finishes his demonstration, flinging the stick of chalk into the air.

The elf in overalls flutters its wings, swiftly catching the piece of chalk in mid-air, putting it back into the case.

A wave of applause arises from the classroom.

The Jamaican man combs his small dreads, tilts his head slightly, cups his chest with his right hand, and bows slightly.

“Thank you very much.”

He raises his head, and the funny smile disappearsfrom his face, replaced by a slightly serious look:

“I’m sorry for the distraction.”

“I am the ssenger of Lord Augustus.”

“You may call Daley The Third.”

The clamor in the classroom dissipates quickly, everyone sees sothing crucial from Daley’s stern expression.

Though many haven’t heard the na Daley The Third, everyone knows the na Augustus.

It is the most prestigious title among the Alpha students.

It also represents a great power.

The Alpha students present imdiately sober up.

They understand more about the aning of this na than students from other academies.

So even stand up nervously, bow slightly, expressing their respect through their actions.

“I am looking for student Zheng Qing.” Daley The Third resus his lighthearted accent, his head held high and scanning the crowded classroom with a modest smile, “May I ask, is student Zheng Qing present?”
