Zheng Qingyuan thought that the ’stay’ Old Yao ntioned ant staying in the classroom, but unexpectedly, the professor on the podium waved his sleeves and enveloped the two young wizards. After a dizzying mont, when Zheng Qing ca to his senses, the three had already returned to the dean’s office.
In the redwood bookcase, a row of small, shriveled demon heads were whispering to each other secretly. When they noticed the boy’s bewildered gaze, they all snarled and bared their teeth, revealing fierce expressions.
This nacing aura quickly sobered Zheng Qing.
"Professor—"
The pleasant complaints of a witch ca from beside him: "If you intended to bring him back to the office, why did you hand it over to ... it wasted a whole round of ti."
As she spoke, she returned the notebook-like item wrapped in parchnt to Old Yao’s desk. At the sa ti, she glanced back at Zheng Qing with a smile in her eyes: "Forgot to tell you... congratulations, congratulations~"
Zheng Qing looked puzzled.
The owner of the office behind the desk bit his pipe and chuckled: "Ah, sorry, sorry... I originally planned to announce this at the regular eting, but I might have overestimated everyone’s ability to handle it, so I changed my mind last minute... This was the first thought that flashed in his mind.
Imdiately, Old Yao shoved the certificate into Zheng Qing’s hands, patted his shoulder, and encouraged him: "According to normal procedures, this thing should be issued under the supervision of the Assistant Team at the Professor Joint eting... but in tis of ergency, flexibility is allowed, right? I can issue it too. After all, I’m still the dean of Jiuyou Academy..."
Zheng Qing was oblivious to the chatter around him, simply staring blankly at the ’certificate’ cover in his hands, his eyes slightly glazed.
The texture of the cover was excellent, smooth yet elastic to the touch, with intricately fine web-like patterns faintly carved on its surface. As his fingertips brushed over it, he felt a very subtle tingling sensation, uncertain if it was a natural effect of the leather or if invisible magic runes were etched into the patterns during its creation.
However, none of this mattered.
At that mont, Zheng Qing’s entire focus was on the two gilded characters at the center of the certificate’s front—
Appointnt Letter
This seed a bit different from what he had imagined.
Old Yao, biting his pipe, arms crossed, stood by the desk looking tolerant, without reproaching the boy for his montary distraction; Jiang Yu leaned closer to the young man, smilingly urging, "Quickly open it and take a look..."
Zheng Qing, with a wooden expression, flipped open the appointnt letter in his hand—
This is to appoint Zheng Qing (student) as an assistant (concurrent) in the Fu Lu Class at the Edge Academy of First University, enjoying and shouldering the rights and obligations of a formal mber of the First University Assistant Corps, for a term of one sester, from February 22, 2010 to June 27, 2010.

There were two bright red seals on it, one belonging to the Edge Academy of First University, and the other to the Vice Dean of Edge Academy, Korama De Gini. The white paper was surrounded by light green, wild grass-like patterns, faintly revealing the rotating and rolling trilinear school emblem of First University within.
"Sister Korma is the Vice Dean of Edge Academy now?" He mumbled, his fingers lightly brushing over the grass-like patterns, attempting to start sorting out his chaotic thoughts from parts he could get clear.
But the mont he asked this question, Zheng Qing knew he was talking nonsense.
Perhaps Korma’s qualifications were slightly inadequate, but given her significance to the Northern District Wizard and her tier, taking the position of vice dean at a newly established academy, although not overly qualified, was definitely sufficient.
"One of the Vice Deans."
Old Yao removed the pipe from his mouth and corrected the boy’s wording, simultaneously explaining in simple terms: "After all, the academy hasn’t been officially established yet, it’s only in a ’pre-established’ state. The school hasn’t finalized a dean yet... so they’ve just appointed two vice deans to handle daily affairs for now. One is Miss Korma, the other is Professor Montreya, who teaches your Magic Script class... your appointnt has their joint recomndation, so it carries a lot of weight!"
He set down the pipe, picked up a teacup from sowhere, blew on the leaves floating on the surface, took a small sip, and then nodded in satisfaction: "Indeed, tea made from demon flesh tastes more delicious."
Holding the appointnt letter in his hands, Zheng Qing only felt it as heavy as a thousand pounds.
It wasn’t that he lacked the confidence to teach those Northern District wizards Talisman Studies, to be honest, even if the school appointed him as a teaching assistant for Talisman Studies at Jiuyou Academy, he wouldn’t feel the least bit apprehensive.
The problem is that this sester he has nearly thirty classes a week; where does he find the ti to be an assistant at Edge Academy!
"Don’t worry about the ti."
Perhaps guessing his concern, Old Yao took another small sip of tea, shook his head, and comforted: "There won’t be too many students enrolled for pre-courses at Edge Academy, so you just need to set aside one class per week to teach them... He glanced at Zheng Qing once more, adding: "Oh, by the way, tomorrow is the first day of your appointnt, and Thursday is your first class. Before class, that is, before Thursday, make sure to find ti to visit the two deans of Edge Academy to hear if they have any opinions or suggestions on your teaching plan... No ti?
