"Sister Tu Shan, please."
On the Magic Stage, the challenger returned the greeting to the challenger, her voice clear, her expression calm, appearing composed and steady.
Of course, this wasn’t Jiang Yu really having much confidence in confronting Tushan Chujiu’s challenge, but as a direct descendant of the Zhongshan Jiang Family, her upbringing allowed her to maintain emotional stability at all tis, and not beco panicked or flustered due to unexpected events.
The two witches were several ters apart, simultaneously raising their Law books in hand.
"Binding Spell!"
"Flowing Fire in July!"
Two clusters of spell light suddenly intensified.
In front of Jiang Yu was a cluster of blue light, accompanied by a spell, three thick vines swiftly shot out from behind her, shooting forward, like three giant pythons hunting for prey, also similar to the tail-like attack thods commonly used by the fox race.
In front of Tushan Chujiu was a cluster of red light, three points of red light quickly rose, and then three streams of fire seed to fall from the sun, rushing with the sound of wind and thunder, and they were whistling towards the seemingly unguarded opponent.
Just a starting move, both sides exuded a do-or-die montum.
This caused many young wizards watching by the lakeside to subconsciously hold their breath, and even many guests on Centiter Mountain silenced themselves in unison, showing respect for this challenge.
As the sound of spells echoed, the two witches pinched hand seals simultaneously.
As an ancient thod of casting spells, hand seals have almost entirely disappeared from the modern university magic teaching system, yet in those ancient Wizard families, hand seals, magic wands, and dharma seals are still considered by old-school wizards to be powerful supplents to modern spellcasting thods, inherited as foundational skills by the family’s descendants.
Without spells, nor needing eyes, amidst flipping spell formulas, the spells cast by the two witches suddenly changed.
The vines summoned by Jiang Yu sprouted slender hairs at a speed visible to the naked eye during flight, and the flower buds at the vine tips kept transforming, petals unfolding desperately backward, and montarily enveloped into a chubby elongated face, the stans gathered around that face’s mouth transforming into slender tentacles.
Zheng Qing recognized at a glance that this was the image of the Haired Dragon he rode when he ca to Shanglin Garden.
Yii yii woo woo!
The lively dragon’s roar echoed between Centiter Mountain and Crescent Lake.
The thin dragon’s might slowly emanated.
This wasn’t an eye trick or Illusion Technique, but a genuine Transformation.
Be it atop Centiter Mountain or beside Crescent Lake, all wizards who saw this scene did not conceal their inner shock; even seasoned registered wizards found it challenging to cast such powerful transformations. By comparison, outside of his astonishnt, Zheng Qing felt a bit perplexed—if Jiang Yu truly could wield such strong Transformation, why hadn’t her White Jade turned into a cat yet?
The three Haired Dragons wagged their heads and tails, adjusting to their new bodies, one dragon folded its body ninety degrees upwards, directly intercepting the three falling fires; the other two rose into the air, rging and separating, head eting head like scissors, tail twisting like strands, akin to a green scissor, cutting straight towards Tushan Chujiu.
anwhile, the three streams of fire falling from the sky also changed during the descent.
The surrounding fla opened up, transforming into delicate petals; the intense fla cores gathered even more, the leaping fla prominence beca slender stans—in short, the three streams of fire turned into three peach blossoms gently descending.
"Peach and tender, rosy its splendor!"
"There is a fox soothing, Ge Zhitianxi!"
Two crisp spells echoed on the Magic Stage simultaneously.
When the Blue Dragon Scissors ford by two Haired Dragons twisted towards Tushan Chujiu, they grasped nothing, and a large peach blossom blood at the location of Tushan Chujiu, while the Blue Dragon Scissors simply shredded the peach blossom, Tushan Chujiu instantly appeared in mid-air, replacing one of the descending peach blossoms.
Moreover, the peach blossom shredded on the Magic Stage then turned into specks of firelight, quickly sticking onto the bodies of the two Haired Dragons.
On the other side, when the dragon supporting the falling flower with its claws, Jiang Yu’s second spell landed on it, and the dragon’s hair exploded, turning into verdant vines, entwining the three peach blossoms.
’There is a fox soothing’ and ’Ge Zhitianxi’ were originally unrelated spells, the forr a standard Binding Spell starter, while the latter tailored to restrain the quick movent technique of the fox race. Yet Jiang Yu cleverly integrated the two into one spell, the vines soaring upwards interwove, like a green spider web, making Tushan Chujiu trapped in mid-air, struggling to move.
In just two rounds.
As swift as lightning and fire, breathtaking. The duel between the two witches was splendid and glamorous, the deadly ambiance laced with a srizing beauty, showcasing exemplary variations, integrations, and transformations between different spells.
Seeing the Tu Shan Clan witch trapped.
Zheng Qing exhaled a long breath.
Only then did he realize he hadn’t breathed for seemingly a long ti—though, truly calculating ti, the period was brief, but the brain received so much information in such a short ti, it felt exceptionally elongated.
Noise gradually arose by his ears.
Almost everyone was murmuring, discussing what had just transpired on the Magic Stage. Zheng Qing was no exception. Although the witch he wanted to discuss with was still on stage, leaving him full of thoughts with nowhere to express, only able to keep staring at the stage.
This allowed him to first notice the anomaly on the Magic Stage.
The trapped Tushan Chujiu showed no sign of panic on her face, instead slightly smiled, joined her hands, rotated them, and her ten fingers opened like blooming petals.
"Hoo!"
Her lips parted slightly, releasing a fragrant breeze.
The next mont, the entire Magic Stage was engulfed in raging flas. Dozens of fire snakes rose from all around, akin to columns of fire, similar to how Jiang Yu previously trapped Tushan Chujiu with vines, she too was now entwined by lively fire snakes, and the heads and tails of those fire snakes linked, bending their bodies, forcibly engineering a complex magic circle on the Magic Stage.
Light and shadows flickered.
Jiang Yu’s face faintly showed a trace of pain, staggering backward a step.
In Zheng Qing’s mind appeared the sudden image of Master Wen Zhong of ’The Investiture of the Gods’ being incinerated to ashes by the Nine Dragon God Fire Cover, instinctively extending his hand, taking a step forward.
A strong ntal impulse strumd his heartstrings.
In his ear, the long-silent Little Green Snake opened its eyes, flicked out a vivid red tongue, and a glowing red rainbow appeared beneath the warlock’s feet, carrying him from the lakeside directly onto the Magic Stage.
His outstretched hand perfectly landed on the witch’s back.
Zheng Qing exhaled heavily, fully content, considering saying so impressive words to express his accomplishnts, yet the witch before him turned around, with a trace of embarrassnt and helplessness on her face:
"What are you doing here?!"
