391: Chapter 60 From today onwards, be a happy cat_1 391: Chapter 60 From today onwards, be a happy cat_1 Compared to the scorching sumr sun, the sun in late autumn seed much more gentle.

Just like humans growing older, becoming more experienced, their temper naturally calms down.

Zheng Qing closed his eyes, tucked in his blanket.

Tonight, the wind outside the window seed extraordinarily noisy.

It whistled through the trees causing the branches to make a noise, and it slapped leaves against the glass creating a sense that a rainstorm was raging outside.

The young wizard curled up tighter, burrowing deeper into his blanket.

No matter the wind or the rain, it is an excellent ti for sleeping.

Moreover, today was Saturday.

Of all the great things in the world, sleep is the greatest.

Zheng Qing smacked his lips, seemingly still tasting the strange flavour of the potion he drank last night.

Perhaps it was because of warmth, his thoughts were a little sluggish.

A familiar snoring sound rang in his ears, a fluffy head burrowed into Zheng Qing’s blanket, rubbing around everywhere.

Behave yourself, Fat Cat!

Zheng Qing yawned, pushed TuanTuan out of his blanket with one palm, and then leisurely wagged his tail.

Wait a minute, a tail?!

Zheng Qing, the young wizard, was startled, and his eyes instantly grew wide.

The cloak that should have been pitch-black displayed every single woven fibre distinctly, those small white flowers of different shapes were clearly present right before Zheng Qing’s eyes.

The blanket was lifted again from its corner.

The glaring light outside made Zheng Qing’s pupils shrink.

Before his muddled brain could fully understand what’s happening, a giant cat face appeared right in front of him.

What the fuck!

Zheng Qing, frightened, yelled out loud, jumped out of the blanket, and landed hanging upside-down from his bed curtain.

Perhaps this odd sound was too terrifying.

Not only was the cat face startled, but the snoring in the dormitory also stopped abruptly.

“TuanTuan, quiet down!” The Fat Man Xin’s bed ca a grumbling warning.

“Dong Dong Dong.” A dull sound ca from the inside of Dylan’s coffin.

The Fat Cat obediently squatted on Zheng Qing’s blanket, wrapping its tail around its feet.

Sure enough, the snoring started echoing in the dormitory again.

Zheng Qing finally let go of the curtains and fell on the floor.

He did a sorsault in mid-air and landed safely on the ground.

After which, he squatted on the floor, raising his two fuzzy, white paws, examining them back and forth.

“Smack.”

TuanTuan, carrying a small mirror in his mouth, dropped it in front of Zheng Qing.

The young student stared blankly for a few seconds, finally snapped back to reality, and looked down at the small mirror.

In the mirror, a black cat had its mouth wide open, showing its sharp teeth.

Zheng Qing seed to sense the chill at the tip of his tongue, hastily shutting his mouth.

The black cat in the mirror also closed its mouth imdiately.

Did I turn into a cat?

The young wizard examined himself in the mirror over and over again – raising his paw, shaking his ears, twitching his whiskers, and making all sorts of facial expressions.

In the end, he confird that the black cat in the mirror was himself.

‘What kind of cat have I turned into?’ Zheng Qing turned to look at TuanTuan, opened his mouth to ask a question.

Then a shrill ‘ow’ broke the tranquillity in the dorm again.

The terrible sound startled even Zheng Qing himself.

“TuanTuan!!!” Xin, the plump guy, roared from his bed.

The dormitory once again fell into silence.

The Fat Cat next to him looked at the black cat, Zheng Qing, with a mocking expression.

For the first ti, Zheng Qing realised that cats could communicate with facial expressions.

He knew he could not rely on the orange cat, who seed to be a fellow species.

Having tried to speak twice, the young wizard had learned to be a lot more clever.

He made a sprightly leap, nimbly weaving through tables, chairs and benches, finally arriving in front of Dylan’s giant wardrobe mirror.

This ti, he finally saw his full reflection.

A round head, small ears, dark as a midnight storm yet soft as fresh snow.

His jet-black fur shiny and sleek, smooth as silk; four paws snow-white, as if stepping on four snowballs.

Only his eyes were sowhat lacking in perfection.

Perhaps due to Zheng Qing’s originally bloodshot right eye, the black cat’s right eye was blood-red; only his left eye was similar to other black cats, like a shiny copper bell, gleaming brightly.

Thankfully, the glowing red of the right eye was sowhat beautiful, making up for its imperfect appearance.

So adorable!

Zheng Qing stared at himself in the mirror for a long ti, unable to resist squatting down and lifting his plump forepaws to rub his round face.

Hmm, even though the whiskers don’t seem to like this action…

but the paw-feel is really great!

He springed his sharp claws, waved his front legs, leaving deep, noticeable marks on the white wall.

If not for the fear of being fined by the dorm manager, Zheng Qing almost carved onto the wall with his claws ‘Zheng the Big ow was here’.

The elves had awoken at so point unnoticed.

They fluttered silently, their large curious eyes carefully examining the unknown black cat before them.

Although he seed a tad bit familiar, his scent was very foreign, causing the little elves to beco sowhat cautious.

Zheng Qing stretched his front legs, lazily yawning—he had admired this particular cat-like move for a long ti.

Indeed, it was quite comfortable.

The black cat’s whiskers quivered, showing a satisfied expression.

He raised his head, looked around at the dormitory that had suddenly beco a lot more spacious, and swung his tail around

It was ti to leave.

He had to leave—no, escape–from the dormitory while everyone was still asleep.

Being so adorable, if those beasts discover him, he would surely be harassed!

That was absolutely not allowed.

Such were Zheng Qing’s narcissistic and arbitrary thoughts.

He opened his mouth, then closed it imdiately, turning his head to look at the Orange Cat squatting on the desk.

Leaving or not?

He asked with his eyes.

Tuan Tuan haughtily snorted, tucked his paws into his belly, looking down in disdain at the newly transford cat.

For a pampered and comfortable Orange Cat like him, the morning campus seed far from exotic.

Zheng Qing hesitated no more, swiftly hopping between the tables and beds, and made his way to the balcony.

This series of actions felt instinctual, perford effortlessly.

This made the young wizard question whether he’d actually been a cat in his past life.

After one last look at his sleeping dormitory, Zheng Qing decisively squeezed open the window panes, climbed the steep cliff and jumped down.

This was his first ti employing feline agility to leave the dormatory.

The morning wind was whistling past his ears, noisy birds were chasing and frolicking in mid-air, squabbling over a single worm.

Flashing before his eyes were the cliff and thick branches crisscrossing it.

He occasionally spotted squirrels and chipmunks nesting and collecting dry fruits between the branches and rocks.

Zheng Qing nimbly hopped among the rocks and branches.

His blood seed to boil, a surge of indescribable adrenaline brewing in his heart.

“ow…”

He roared from the top of his lungs:

“Starting from today, I will be a happy cat!”

“Scaring dogs, climbing trees, and sleeping till I’m paralysed.”

“From today onwards, I’ll begin taking interest in mice and frogs.”

“I am a black cat, I’ll sharpen my claws and prowls all around!”
