"Leave a sliver of life! Don't kill it!" Feng Qi shouted.

But Suction Cup paid no heed. Starlight swirled in her eyes as her pristine white arm descended with lightning speed.

Boom!

The ground trembled. The leopard-shaped domain creature's head twisted violently, the azure light in its eyes gradually fading.

Feng Qi's expression instantly soured.

He had hoped to land the final blow, thinking that killing this domain creature might earn him a decent prefix title ability.

Unfortunately, he couldn't communicate with Suction Cup. Under her brutal assault, the domain creature barely withstood a few punches before breathing its last.

Pah! What kind of trash ga is this? Team mode experience isn't shared? They didn't even leave a drop of broth.

Feng Qi: ...

Recognizing the Narrator's complaint, he turned to look at Suction Cup, who was crouching on all fours.

At that mont, Suction Cup also looked up at him.

After a brief exchange of glances, she suddenly leaped forward and clung to his chest.

Feng Qi: ...

Weapon loaded (electronic synthesized voice)!

The Drama Queen Narrator chid in with tily remark.

Feng Qi glanced down at Suction Cup, who was clinging to him like an octopus with her eyes already closed. For the first ti since his nerves had been stretched taut, he finally felt a sense of security.

Though Suction Cup was no match for little black, with her by his side, he had no reason to fear ordinary domain creatures.

An idea flashed through his mind: could he use Suction Cup to hunt domain creatures and acquire more prefix title abilities?

With this thought, he imdiately strode toward the abandoned residential area nearby, beginning his search for domain creatures to hunt.

His mindset had shifted completely.

Previously, he had to hide from domain creatures, but now, ard with a throwable weapon, his combat power had skyrocketed. As long as it wasn't little black, there was nothing to fear.

Your combat power is 1, Suction Cup's is 99, totaling 100. So you think your combat power has skyrocketed? You've completely lost your sense of sha! This is called clinging to soone's coattails, not an increase in your own combat power.

Feng Qi: ...

"Shut up!"

Okay!

He advanced along the cracked, weed-choked road, his gaze fixed on a towering structure in the distance.

Before hunting domain creatures, he needed to pinpoint little black's current location.

If little black arrived mid-hunt, disaster would strike.

The Suction Cup, a reusable projectile weapon, would beco a single-use tool the mont little black appeared.

Climbing the nineteen-story building, he surveyed the western horizon.

His gaze swept across the landscape until he spotted little black, shrouded in black mist, rapidly approaching from afar.

At its current speed, little black was no more than ten minutes away.

Realizing the urgency of the situation, Feng Qi's mind raced.

He needed to find an opponent for little black.

Fleeing now would be futile; at his current speed, little black would inevitably overtake him. Escape was impossible.

The safest course of action was to find an opponent for little black, delaying its advance.

During his repeated forays into the Dream Realm, he had noticed a peculiar phenonon.

Every domain creature he had encountered showed extre hostility toward little black, abandoning their original targets to attack it instead.

This was completely different from Suction Cup's behavior.

When he had been hiding in the abandoned residential area, he had been attacked by vicious dogs. Despite Suction Cup's attempts to block them, the dogs had still chosen to attack him first.

He had no way of knowing the exact reason for this difference.

Little black's unique trait was a boon to him. With this in mind, he scanned his surroundings, searching for a suitable opponent for it.

As he surveyed the area, he noticed a Scarlet Eye hovering not far to the east of the high-rise he was on.

He was intimately familiar with this Scarlet Eye, its combat prowess was exceptionally formidable.

Possessing the powerful ability of Psychokinesis, it had nearly crushed every bone in his body with its psychic grip, killing him, were it not for little black's tily arrival.

"You're the one!"

Having locked onto his target, he swiftly climbed down the high-rise and sprinted toward the Scarlet Eye's location.

Rounding a street corner piled high with construction debris, he slowed his pace and cautiously peered around the corner.

He spotted the Scarlet Eye hovering in mid-air nearby, its tentacles writhing wildly around it.

As he waited, little black's figure materialized behind him.

Sensing the opportune mont, he decisively strode toward the Scarlet Eye.

The Scarlet Eye, which had been slumbering with its eyes closed, suddenly snapped open its crimson gaze, sweeping over Feng Qi before locking onto little black, who was rapidly approaching from behind.

The ground trembled, and surrounding rubble slowly levitated, swirling around the Scarlet Eye.

Observing little black's relentless advance, the Scarlet Eye grew increasingly wary. The swirling rubble around it suddenly shot toward little black like a torrential rain of projectiles.

Spotting the incoming barrage, Feng Qi dove to the right without hesitation. Despite his evasive maneuver, several stones struck him, causing him to grimace in pain.

He realized that the growth of nerve fibers in his body wasn't entirely a blessing—it ant he could now feel pain.

Having already planned his escape route, Feng Qi swiftly rose to his feet after falling. Ignoring the battle raging behind him, he made a decisive retreat.

With the path ahead blocked, he had no choice but to retrace his steps along the route he had taken earlier.

Now that little black had engaged the Scarlet Eye, his top priority was to return and continue reviewing the data and cultivation techniques, recording any useful information.

He also wanted to investigate the origins of the Suction Cup.

Despite the changing environnt, his excellent mory allowed him to recall the general route.

As he circled north, heading back to Star City Shelter, the roadside weeds gradually thickened while towering buildings beca fewer.

Once again in that familiar area, the slumbering Suction Cup suddenly detached from him and scurried to a patch of muddy ground, where she knelt, a flicker of sorrow appearing in her hollow eyes.

Feng Qi: ???

This scene puzzled him. Why did the Suction Cup always enter this state whenever they reached this spot?

He carefully examined the muddy ground ahead, finding nothing remarkable about it.

Could there be sothing buried beneath the soil?

Driven by curiosity, he stepped forward and plunged his skeletal arm into the earth, digging furiously.

As he dug, he glanced at the Suction Cup, who remained lost in her sorrow, oblivious to his actions. This emboldened him further.

After digging over a ter deep, he still found nothing.

Just as he was about to give up, his hand suddenly struck sothing hard.

Grasping it firmly, he slowly pulled the object out of the pit.

It was a square tal box, its surface heavily rusted, obscuring the engraved characters.

A latch in the middle of the box seed to offer a way to open it.

Due to the rust, he simply crushed the latch with his bare hands and slowly opened the box, his heart pounding with anticipation.

But when he saw what was inside, his face went blank.

The box contained nothing but a pile of moldy green powder.

"What the hell is this?"

As he puzzled over this, his gaze drifted downward and noticed a silver-white object protruding from the spot where the tal box had been buried.

"I think I've seen this before..."

After a mont of scrutiny, he finally recognized it.

Hahahaha, you're getting more and more badass, bro! First, you watched yourself get beheaded, and now you're digging up your own ashes! I can't take it anymore—I'm gonna die laughing at your dumbassery! Hahahaha!

Feng Qi: !!!
