Fushimi Inari-taisha is located at the foot of Mount Inari in southern Kyoto. This mountainous area was now teeming with a vast number of people who were excluded from the category of "ordinary humans."

At this mont, a group of people was erging from the mountain forests. Their attire looked nothing like that of office workers; they were dressed as if they were cosplaying. Anyone who frequently watched historical military dramas could find every role they had seen on screen here—ninjas in skin-tight gear, samurai in jinbaori (camp vests), knights clad in armor, and so on.

These were just the ancient styles; there were also modern outfits, represented by camouflage fatigue. So people were empty-handed, but most carried various types of cold weapons. There were even so who shouldered "props" like rocket launchers that, at a glance, looked anything but harmonious. Beyond their clothes, these people exuded an aura that warned others not to approach, and their eyes were cold.

When they saw Fushimi Inari-taisha in the distance, nearly subrged by yokai, they all ca to a halt. They looked at the sky full of yokai with exceptionally excited eyes; their aloof and cold deanor vanished instantly, looking like scholars seeing a famous courtesan... no, rather, like seeing a beautiful lady.

A man of East Asian appearance pulled out a walkie-talkie, his tone supercharged with excitent.

"All units, free fire for half an hour!"

As soon as he finished speaking, a dull roar echoed through the air. But the ones who heard this sound first were Hagoromo Gitsune and her cadres.

To be honest, the cadres looked down on the sorcerers of the Kansai Branch completely. Although they were directing the yokai to attack, not a single one of them was willing to lift a finger personally. Right now, they were surrounding the Ryozanpaku group just to feast their eyes—they couldn't eat them, but looking was fine.

What they didn't know was that if not for the two "noobs" present, the masters on the scene would have already started fighting them, given their temperants.

Then, they heard strange sounds coming from afar. Based on everyone's past experience in hacking people and causing demonic mischief, this was the sound of fire contacting air at high speeds, mixed with the sound of solid objects frictioning against the air—and there were quite a lot of them.

The people from Ryozanpaku were sowhat familiar with this sound. After all, most Ryozanpaku masters were world-travelers who had seen all sorts of scenes, yet they felt they might have misheard. Because... damn it! Why did this sound like anti-aircraft missiles in flight!?

I must have misheard!

Then, the four masters and the two noobs saw at least several hundred tubes frantically spitting out tail-smoke flying in from the northern sky. To their slack-jawed amazent, the tubes crashed headlong into the yokai swarms that densely packed the sky.

Accompanied by earth-shattering explosions, crimson flas blood enchantingly in the sky, looking like clusters of seductive and gorgeous Lycoris flowers. The scorching light swept out in all directions like a world-blotting sandstorm. Swarms of yokai were blown into fragnts like scraps of paper in their terror, flying off in every direction.

With the blooming of every fla flower, and using the explosion point as the core, every yokai within a hundred ters was turned into an unidentified object. If they weren't charred or blown away, they were riddled with shrapnel like a sieve, turning into masses of mangled at. It was incredibly cruel.

"Holy shit!" Hattori Heiji cursed. He felt that the question now wasn't whether yokai existed in the world anymore. "Isn't this Japan!?"

This is insane! There are missiles flying in the sky of Kyoto City!?

Answering him were even more tubes flying in from the northern sky... Aside from that, no one paid him any mind. Whether it was his good pal Conan, the Ryozanpaku masters, or the yokai cadres, they were all dazed, staring directly at the fireworks display in the sky.

Akifusa (Ao-no-Dajio), the old scher who always felt everything was under his control, was now dumbstruck. What were these tubes? Were they really this terrifying!?

On the ground, the Kansai sorcerers were also going crazy.

What the hell!

The yokai didn't know what this was, but how could they not know? Even if they hadn't seen a pig run, hadn't they eaten pork?

"Go! Get out of here now!" soone roared, completely losing their composure. They had originally considered taking an enemy down with them before dying, but no one thought that way anymore. Missiles were already here; could an artillery barrage be far behind? Did they think they were easy to bully because they didn't have many friends? This was definitely the work of those soldiers from the 3rd Division! The Self-Defense Forces had indeed contacted them saying they wanted to help, but... they ant this?

Have they lost their minds!?

Exorcist swordsn blocked the yokai's impact, the shrine maidens provided support with their "cowardly" arrows, the Onmyoji continued to plaster faces with spells, and the sorcerers fought and retreated toward the main hall.

Later on, the yokai couldn't even bother attacking the sorcerers. Missiles were flying in from all directions. Not only did the explosions make the yokai in the sky howl like wolves and wail like ghosts, but it also caused many yokai to descend to the ground seeking "coolness." The yokai on the ground were already paralyzed with fear by the scenes in the sky; how could they care about that group of sorcerers?

But they soon regretted it. Because from the eastern sky, a piercing shriek produced by intense air friction rang out.

Akifusa only had ti to see a vast expanse of pitch-black, rectangular tal objects—origin unknown—arcing down and falling into the heap of yokai on the ground. It's worth ntioning that to avoid those terrifying tubes in the sky, more than half of the yokai had descended to the ground, huddling together because their numbers were so great...

Then, they suffered a total catastrophe.

BOOM—!!

The earth shook. Accompanied by earth-shattering roars, billowing thick smoke rose into the air, and yokai were blown into the sky in groups. Fire, shrapnel, sonic waves, vibrations, smoke, and the dirt and gravel kicked up by the explosions—this was the movent of the apocalypse.

Finally, the organizational structure of the yokai was completely destroyed; the cadres could no longer command them. How could they command anything now!

After the artillery fire lasted for half an hour, it finally stopped. The losses of the Kansai Oni Army could be described as tragic. Facing the baptism of modern firepower, nearly half of them had died. However, those who remained could be called elites. Though these "elites" currently had ears that were ringing incessantly.

The cadres recovered from the shock, and they were both startled and enraged! Yokai have classes too, even more distinct and cold-blooded than humans, but having lost nearly half of their forces like this, they couldn't help but be consud by a sky-high rage. This was the Night Parade of a Hundred Demons! When had there ever been such a scene!?

"Was it you!" a cadre glared murderously at the Ryozanpaku masters. "Have you thought about how you want to die!?"

The masters didn't even bother to acknowledge these idiots. With this many shells and missiles, they couldn't afford even a fraction of them even if they sold themselves. They surrounded Hattori Heiji and Conan in the middle. These yokai before them had clearly lost their reason; communication was impossible except through force.

This tension-filled atmosphere, however, was broken by a single sentence.

"What are you doing?" Hagoromo Gitsune's voice drifted over, her anger clearly suppressed. "The enemy has appeared; can't you see them?"

The cadres' hearts shuddered, and they turned their attention to their surroundings. They discovered that tens of thousands of people had appeared around the Grand Shrine. As soon as these people appeared, they charged at the yokai.

And on the hillside where the cadres were located, another group of people with extraordinary auras appeared.

"What a small world." A man dressed in samurai armor and holding a large spear looked indifferently at the Ryozanpaku group surrounded by the cadres. "Unfortunately, you are not the targets today."

"Haha, I thought yokai were so capable, but they're just like this." A man in camouflage fatigues revealed a savage smile. "Now, who can say my 3rd Division is no longer what it used to be!"

"What is there to say about relying on filthy chunks of iron?" A man with blond hair and gray eyes stepped out. His status seed unusual. "However, yokai... they might actually provide with so good inspiration."

Seeing this man, Akisa Koetsuji's gaze beca much more serious. "Alexander Gaidar. I didn't expect you to co here as well."

"Hmm? It's you, Akisa Koetsuji."

Looking at this Ryozanpaku master who had once properly competed with him in art and, in passing, sparred in martial arts, the "Exterminating Fist" suddenly felt his fists itching. However, he still held back. Because he was the examiner this ti and had to grade others; if he didn't grade them properly, he would provoke public anger, which was unnecessary.

Therefore, today he would be a quiet, handso man and not pick fights randomly.
