After lunch, Qin Mu returned to the apartnt and slept until after four.
When Mu Yichen called her, the noise woke her up, and she lazily turned over in bed, saying with a sleepy voice, "I’m at the apartnt!"
Later, Mu Yichen ca to the apartnt to find her, and she was still sleeping!
When they got back, there were guests at ho, and as the two stood at the door, they heard the butler whisper, "It’s Mr. Lu and his daughter visiting."
Mu Yichen lowered his gaze and then looked at Qin Mu, who gave him the sa look, and the two of them entered the living room together.
"Grandpa, Mom and Dad, we’re back!"
Just like always, Qin Mu would greet them first upon returning ho.
There were quite a few people sitting on the sofa today, even though it was just that father-daughter duo added.
Since they had just t Lu Fei’s father a couple of days ago, it wasn’t unfamiliar.
"You guys ca back just in ti, Uncle Lu brought Lu Fei over to have so fun and join us for dinner,"
Mu Zihao said to them from the couch.
The two of them sat to the side, "Alright!"
It was naturally Qin Mu who agreed, Mu Yichen didn’t bother to give an opinion.
"Just happened to walk with Lu Fei here, thought it’s been years since I visited your ho, so I decided to drop by. Hope we didn’t interrupt you two newlyweds?"
Lu Fei’s father was quite the talker.
"No, not at all!"
Mu Yichen lifted his eyes slightly and replied, Qin Mu glanced around, "Where are the kids?"
"At the playroom! They just got new wallpaper today, went straight in without coming out once we got ho."
Changed again?
It was just a few days since the last ti?
"Oh!"
Qin Mu didn’t say much, she really was used to it, ever since she ca to the house, so many things had been added, of course, apart from the study room upstairs, nothing else was hers, it was all for those siblings.
"In the blink of an eye, that child’s children are already in kindergarten, out of all of them, aren’t Yichen’s children the oldest?"
Lu Fei’s father asked.
"Indeed!"
Mu Zihao just nodded but Feng Fanghua showed a hint of pride, as she was a young grandmother to two grandsons, and these two little darlings were both good-looking and smart, well-praised by everyone. Her words seed casual, but there was a hidden pride inside.
"If Yang Bo and Lu Fei had married a few years back, their child might be one or two years old by now. At that ti, this girl was too mischievous, so I sent her to the countryside, alas, didn’t expect her to beco even more mischievous now."
"Dad! What are you saying!"
Lu Fei was embarrassed, being called a child and a girl.
"Look at that! She knows how to feel shy now!"
Lu Fei’s father remarked with a glance at his daughter in jest.
"That girl Lu Fei, always been mischievous since she was little, if she marries into the Yang Family, won’t that turn the Yang Family upside down?"
The old master quietly mused, after all, he once went to the Yang Family to pressure them into breaking the engagent with the Lu Family, he wasn’t fond of Lu Fei, in his mind, she wasn’t up to standard.
"Grandpa! Look what you’re saying; I’m marrying in as a daughter-in-law, not as a troublemaker! I’m not rude!"
Lu Fei thought for a mont and added the latter part.
Qin Mu and Mu Yichen just sat there listening, not saying much.
"Haha! Well, I’ll keep an eye on that!"
The old master chuckled and replied.
"Want to go check on the kids?"
Mu Yichen suddenly suggested to Qin Mu.
Qin Mu turned back to look at him, feeling relieved, nodded, "Well then, Grandpa, Mom, Dad, Uncle Lu, I’ll go check on those little ones, they just had a fight yesterday, you all continue chatting."
Lu Fei’s father nodded, "Go ahead! Kids fight and it’ll pass. Don’t scold them."
"Okay!"
Qin Mu nodded and left, Lu Fei watched Qin Mu leave, feeling awkward as the only girl there, quickly stood up, "Wait, I’ll go with you!"
Qin Mu turned to look at Lu Fei, who was happily catching up with her, turned to the elders, "Grandpa, Dad, Uncle, Aunt, I’m going with Sister Qin Mu to see the kids."
"Go on!"
Feng Fanghua responded, sohow finding her less annoying at that mont.
"This girl even calls Yichen’s wife ’Sister’, she should be calling her ’Sister-in-law’ instead!"
Lu Fei’s father remarked after Lu Fei had left.
"Now that’s sothing I like to hear!"
The old master laughed, thinking it made more sense from their family’s side, even Feng Fanghua and Mu Zihao agreed.
Mu Yichen said nothing, but in his heart, he thought it didn’t matter as long as Mrs. Mu was happy.
Qin Mu initially thought Lu Fei might be scared by the kids’ rowdy behavior, but after less than five minutes at the playroom, she realized her worries were unfounded.
