"Give the phone!"
Mu Yichen directly commanded him without any nonsense, in a cold voice.
Jiang Zhiyuan obediently handed over the phone, even though he wasn’t willing inside.
Mu Yichen’s expression improved slightly after looking at his phone, and he tossed the phone back to him, reminding, "Zhiyuan, it’s okay to ruin yourself, but make sure you don’t ruin your brother, okay?"
Director Mu was so serious it scared Qiao Yi into silence.
"I know! How could I ruin you guys? Haven’t I always been lending a helping hand?"
Jiang Zhiyuan smiled, regretting that he had joked with Mu Yichen.

Mu Yichen suddenly picked up the tea, leisurely sipping this year’s new tea.

Mu Yichen furrowed his brows, trying hard to suppress his laughter: "What’s the matter? Afraid I poisoned the tea?"
Seeing the two of them hesitating to touch the tea leaves, Mu Yichen asked again.
That calm yet chilling tone made anyone listening feel they’d have to drink the tea even knowing it was poisoned.
"Brother Yichen, you really scared earlier!"
Jiang Zhiyuan took a sip of tea to calm his nerves before speaking.
"Sigh! I was the one really scared by you. You don’t know what kind of temper my wife has? If she found out I was involved with a female colleague at work, she’d pretend not to mind, but in private she’d tornt to death!"
Mu Yichen sighed as he ntioned it, thinking that if there was a misunderstanding, he didn’t know when Mada Mu would forgive him. He had just managed to enjoy a full al today and didn’t want to go hungry again so soon.
"Among us n, Director Mu is truly the most imposing and yet the most afraid of his wife!"
Qiao Yi remarked while sipping his tea.
"Are you sure?"
Mu Yichen and Jiang Zhiyuan questioned him simultaneously.
"Of course! Do you think I’m afraid of my wife? I’m the boss in our house!"
Qiao Yi chuckled, put down his teacup, and casually threw an arm over Jiang Zhiyuan’s back, crossing his legs with a look of cocky confidence.
"Am I interrupting?"
Xi ng stood at the door listening for a while, then softly asked.
Qiao Yi stiffened his back, and both Jiang Zhiyuan and Mu Yichen lowered their heads silently, trying hard to stifle their laughter.
Qiao Yi’s back was rigid, all the while giving Mu Yichen a look, thinking it’s your turn now.
"Who’s the boss at Secretary Xi’s ho?"
Mu Yichen received the cue and asked.
"Of course it’s Assistant Qin! My son and I both follow his lead!"
Secretary Xi smiled faintly, walking up, and placed a hand on Qiao Yi’s shoulder, making his whole shoulder tremble.
"Right? Honey?"
Secretary Xi lowered her head, unable to clearly see Qiao Yi’s face, but she still smiled sweetly.
"We were just bragging, don’t take it seriously! At ho, it’s surely your decision. All of us here have our won calling the shots; otherwise, why hasn’t Zhiyuan found a new girlfriend after playing for so long outside, right Zhiyuan?"
Jiang Zhiyuan didn’t know why, but the issue suddenly got tossed to him, leaving him wondering how to answer.
"Is Young Master Jiang getting a new girlfriend? Is An Nan a thing of the past?"
Xi ng hid her emotions and asked Jiang Zhiyuan curiously.
"Uh! Well! Sister Xi ng, can we not talk about my issues?"
Jiang Zhiyuan asked awkwardly, his voice low, his scar pretending to be healed, though the wound inside hadn’t healed.
"We can skip your issues, but do you know about An Nan’s case? Last night I saw her post on Monts, with so handso guy side by side with her; they looked quite close."
Xi ng looked very earnest, and only after saying this whole string did she glance at Jiang Zhiyuan.
