"Not pregnant!"
After Helian Hao’s disappointed voice, suddenly, the whole study room fell into silence.
"I personally checked her, and she’s indeed not pregnant!"
Helian Hao looked at Qin Mu’s astonished expression, shook his head, and earnestly explained.

"Originally, An Nan wanted to marry Jiang Zhiyuan because she thought she was pregnant. Now, finding out she isn’t pregnant, what if she backs out—"
Helian Hao murmured, a sense of oppression always in her heart.

Qin Mu nodded.

Qin Mu chuckled softly: "How did you get so silly?"
"Yes! How am I acting like a fool?"
Helian Hao was also puzzled by how she suddenly beca so foolish, imagining a breakup drama without understanding the situation.
So that evening Mu Yichen and Jing Feng didn’t go to Jiang Zhiyuan’s apartnt. Upon returning, Mu Yichen said to Qin Mu: "It’s not appropriate for us to ddle in their relationship. Their feelings for each other won’t be affected by pregnancy or not; let’s not worry about it!"
Standing next to him, Qin Mu heard him say this and did not push him further; Jing Feng also declined to bother Jiang Zhiyuan.

An Nan and Jiang Zhiyuan were dining in the apartnt, neither speaking to the other, only the soft sound of a knife and fork touching the plates.

An Nan raised her head in shock to look at him, her face truly turning ashen.
The room suddenly beca so quiet that she could clearly hear her own heartbeat, unable to feel her breath.
"We’ve always been careful, though a few tis not, but I still have considerable control!"
