"Mu Yichen! I want you to be happy forever!"
Her voice beca softer, even sowhat intoxicated.
"You want to be happy forever?"
Mu Yichen’s voice was unnaturally deep.
"Mm!"
Qin Mu agreed, her forehead resting against his, her breathing a bit labored.
Mu Yichen lowered his eyes as well, but he just smiled gently, quietly feeling her breath.
He didn’t expect such a delightful surprise.
"Mu Yichen, please don’t get angry with for anyone else, okay? I won’t get angry with you because of anyone else either, hmm?"
She slightly raised her eyes, her long eyelashes gently brushing against his, which led to his tender and eager kiss.
Qin Mu’s breathing beca even more unsteady, but luckily Mu Yichen didn’t imdiately take all her breath, instead guiding her little by little.
Later, the bathtub was filled with splashes of water.
Mr. Mu laughed and teased, "Mrs. Mu, you’ve gained weight!"
Upon hearing this, Mrs. Mu dedicated herself to exercise and slimming down!
However, later when she was carried to the bed, Mrs. Mu already had little strength left, almost as if she’d been run over by a car several tis.
Mu Yichen’s tall figure lay beside her, gently embracing her, softly stroking her wispy bangs, quietly feeling her warm body temperature.
"So sleepy!"
Qin Mu snuggled into his arms, but just as she closed her eyes and opened them again, she suddenly rembered they hadn’t had dinner yet, and Grandpa was probably still waiting for them to eat together.
When the two of them got dressed and went downstairs, in the dining room, Grandpa was drinking alone.
The butler was accompanying him, constantly advising him to drink less, worriedly.
Grandpa might be wary of others, but he wasn’t afraid of the butler; after all, his age and status were recognized, so he pretended not to hear and instead advised the butler not to be so humble all the ti, without any temper.
When the butler saw Qin Mu and Mu Yichen coming downstairs, he stood up, "Young master, young madam!"
"Please sit!"
Mu Yichen nodded, but the butler smiled, "Since you’re here, I’ll get busy; don’t let the old master drink too much!"
The butler actually didn’t want to co over when he was called, although the family treated him as one of their own, he still worked for a living; but he was afraid of the old master drinking too much alone, so he ca over this ti, seeing Mu Yichen and Qin Mu here, he retreated gracefully.
After the butler left, Qin Mu and Mu Yichen sat down, the dishes and utensils were already set, the old man hadn’t asked the maid to call them down, not wanting to disturb the young couple’s life.
When they ca down, the old man looked up, "This bit of wine, don’t compete with for it tonight, alright?"
The old man tapped the small wine bottle on the table, speaking to Mu Yichen.
"How about Qin Mu and I have so red wine to accompany you?"
Mu Yichen smiled and asked.
"I’ll go get the wine!"
Qin Mu said, getting up to fetch the red wine.
The old man looked at Mu Yichen’s deanor and couldn’t help but chuckle, "You brat, you went upstairs with a cold face, and now you’re ready to celebrate with red wine?"
"Your granddaughter-in-law has her ways to make happy!"
Mu Yichen responded with a smug smile.
"Hmph! I think it’s you who knows how to make Mumu make you happy?"
The old man had great confidence in his grandson when he wasn’t ssing around.
Mu Yichen didn’t contradict him, after all, he loved hearing such words.
Qin Mu didn’t bring out the whole bottle of wine; since the old man’s wine was left to just one cup, she poured a glass each for herself and Mu Yichen.
"Here it cos!"
Qin Mu placed two glasses of wine in front of Mu Yichen, one for each of them.
"Shall us three have a drink first? Celebrate that Ms. Feng is not ho?"
The old man was quite playful; although Qin Mu dared not celebrate this, Mu Yichen raised his glass to drink with the old man, and so did she.
After finishing the al, the three of them went to play chess. Qin Mu played chess with the old man, and Mu Yichen was constantly giving her signals; Qin Mu was losing, making poor moves that nearly made Mu Yichen want to scold her.
It was just like a teacher being disappointed with their student.
Qin Mu was very focused, so she didn’t look at him.
However, tonight, Mrs. Mu’s state was indeed off, but who’s to bla for that?
After winning a ga, the old man slowly leaned back into the sofa with the posture of a victor, leisurely tapping the armrest, saying to Qin Mu, "Mumu! Not focused tonight, huh!"
"Uh, my hands got rusty these days, but next ti, who knows!"
