I heard it’s quite large in scale.
"I know! How about I take you there?"
"Today?"
Qin Mu looked at her expression and asked in confusion.
"Yeah! You drive over and pick up, the two of us can take one car over there."
Without thinking much, Qin Mu grabbed her bag and drove to the hospital to pick up Helian Hao, who had taken leave and got into Qin Mu’s car.
"Which way should we go now?"
Qin Mu glanced at her; the weather was pretty nice today. Qin Mu thought, after buying the guitar, they could have lunch nearby, chat about last night’s events, and return without hurry.
But then...
Helian Hao looked up the navigation, and the GPS led them further and further off the beaten path.
Qin Mu kept wondering, finally unable to resist turning to her and asking, "Are you sure we’re going this way? We’re heading towards the countryside, aren’t we?"
"It should be right!"
Helian Hao’s voice carried a hint of doubt.
Qin Mu started to get nervous, thinking to herself, they shouldn’t get lost with a navigation system, but they certainly don’t want to spend the whole day on the road; lunch was obviously going to be a bust.
Helian Hao glanced at her worried face, imdiately raised her hand to pat Qin Mu on the shoulder.
"Relax, sister! The place might be remote, but that doesn’t an they can’t make guitars there."
"Make? Honey, we just want to buy a guitar, do you think I’m going to buy a guitar factory?"
Qin Mu frowned, feeling the woman had completely misinterpreted her aning.
"Haha! Of course not! But I’m really taking you to a large guitar factory."
Helian Hao suddenly laughed, feeling like she had made quite a big deal out of the situation.
Qin Mu wanted to complain, but seeing Helian Hao so excited, she could only treat this unexpected trip as a rare short adventure.
Moreover, after leaving the city, despite the winter, there were so green things on the roadside which hadn’t yet been consud by the snow, not very tall.
"What are those?"
Two sowhat naïve won looked at the scenery outside; the patches of land were shockingly unfamiliar.
"Wheat?"
Qin Mu’s eyebrow twitched as the car slowed down, eventually coming to a stop.
They got out of the car, stepped over snow piles, stood at the edge of the wheat field, and then took a deep breath.
The air in Rongcheng was considered quite good, but here...
The pure, natural feel made them feel like they had ventured to outer space; crisp and clean without a hint of pollution.
Almost another hour passed before they reached the small town. Qin Mu had actually seen the sign for the guitar town at the previous intersection. Now in town, a giant red guitar stood tall, and as she looked up at it, a different feeling gradually grew in her heart.
The car kept going; she had been to the countryside before—after all, her grandfather lived there for several years, and she and Mu Yichen visited several tis—but this place was distinct. Not all of the town’s sides were shops; there were guitar galleries, making Qin Mu exclaim in awe. It seed quite impressive and potentially famous.
Further in, there was a long river; it wasn’t clear where the water led, but it stretched beyond sight. The shallow areas of the river were frozen over, with so markings on top as if soone had been playing there.
The car crossed the bridge; both sides’ streams were clear. They parked by the roadside and took so photos.
"It should be even better if we ca in sumr!"
Helian Hao chatted with Qin Mu.
"Yes! Wildgrass! Wildflowers! So many poplar trees around, the river flowing endlessly, gentle wind blowing, it must be beautiful!"
Qin Mu couldn’t help but imagine the sumr scene here.
Without the glitz of the city, everything was genuinely laid out; what you see is what you get.
They continued, the navigation announced arrival.
Raising their eyes, they saw the guitar factory, indeed quite large in scale.
"If Mu Yichen knew I was here, he’d think I’m buying this guitar factory!"
Qin Mu mumbled to herself, driving to the entrance as a young owner rushed out from inside.
"Zhang Zhenyu!"
Helian Hao saw a slightly chubby boy coming out and opened the window to shout.
Qin Mu was about to speak with the guard but paused after hearing her greet soone outside, only looking over curiously. That boy looked about their age, dressed casually in jeans, a thick down coat, and it seed his hair hadn’t been washed for days.
