Qin Mingzhu glanced at her car again.
Qin Mu reflexively turned her head to look at her own car, then smiled and said seriously, "He’s busy with work, super busy right before the New Year. If you two want to leave, just go. Do you really expect us to send you off for eighteen miles?"
Qin Mu walked over to Qin Mingzhu’s side with her bag and asked.
"Hehe! I just wanted you two to see us off! Who knows when we’ll et again!"
Qin Mingzhu grabbed her hand a bit reluctantly.
Wang Huanyu stood beside them without interrupting.
"Oh geez! I didn’t expect you to beco so clingy, it’s really annoying! Wang Huanyu, quickly take her away, and don’t let her co back often to bother !"
Qin Mu sighed helplessly and started chatting with Wang Huanyu, without looking at Qin Mingzhu.
"Wow, I’m your sister, you know? You’re choosing the wrong person to like!"
Hearing Qin Mu’s tone and seeing her expression, Qin Mingzhu imdiately said jealously, then gave Wang Huanyu a fierce look, as if he were her love rival.
Wang Huanyu smiled wryly, "I’ll wait in the car!"
Only then did Qin Mingzhu stop torturing him with her eyes. Qin Mu, however, turned to Qin Mingzhu, "When you get back, have a good New Year with your mother-in-law, and try not to throw tantrums!"
"Got it! Dad has told a million tis already, and now you won’t stop. Look, you’re so young but nagging like an old lady, no wonder your husband argues with you! If you keep nagging like this, be careful he might find soone else!"
Qin Mingzhu acted as if it irritated her, yet she patiently reminded her.
Hearing the word ’soone else,’ Qin Mu couldn’t help but smile, "If he does find soone else, I’ll just leave him in Rongcheng alone!"
"Are you thinking of going back to Paris to find your ntor? I’ve known for a long ti you’re not just into one man. If this were ancient tis, you’d have three or four wives, you’d be quite the player!"
Qin Mingzhu kept going on, but Qin Mu could no longer listen.
"Hurry up and get in the car! Wang Huanyu is waiting to go ho!"
Qin Mu deliberately put on a serious face to hasten her.
"I’m leaving! Take good care of Dad for , don’t forget to bring him to your place for the New Year, or maybe spend the first half of the night at your in-laws’ and the second half at Dad’s. Or, since you’re on cold terms with your husband, just co back and spend New Year with Dad, that way Dad will be happy and your husband concerned—killing two birds with one stone!"
Before leaving, Qin Mingzhu winked at her, then rolled down the car window after getting in, resting her hand on the door, and leaned out to say to Qin Mu, "Think carefully about what I said!"
"We’re off! Don’t listen to her!"
Wang Huanyu tilted his head and said to Qin Mu standing on Qin Mingzhu’s side.
"Drive safe, bye!"
Qin Mu smiled at him, naturally knowing not to heed Qin Mingzhu’s advice, and watched their car drive away.
Qin Mu got back in her car and drove ho.
With the leader not ho, the entire house was deadly quiet; the bird she bought was still alive, and seed rather plump too.
"If you get any fatter, I’ll roast you as a snack for the boss!"
"Mumu is a good child! A good child!"
Qin Mu thought she was hearing things, turned to leave, then went back to the window, listening closely to the parrot talking in the cage.
"Girl, when will you say ’Dad’? When will you say ’Dad’?"
Qin Mu’s heart skipped a beat, and she started seriously observing this parrot, surprised it could say so much.

Qin Mu felt a bit overwheld inside, realizing he hoped she’d call him ’Dad,’ but hearing it from the parrot seed unbelievable.
"Miss, we have fresh fruit in the house, have a seat and enjoy so!"
Hearing the voice, Qin Mu turned around to see the maid with a plate of cut fruit by the coffee table.
"Mm!"
Qin Mu knew it must have been Qin Haiming who asked the maid to prepare it, and since it was indeed fresh, she sat down.
"Miss Mingzhu stayed a few days this ti, the boss was in a good mood, but couldn’t help ntioning you, often telling Miss Mingzhu how filial and sensible you are, not worrying him at all. Miss Mingzhu though, kept complaining about being bothered, yet always stuck by the boss’s side."
"Qin Mingzhu is just like that, you’ll get used to it!"
Qin Mu said nonchalantly while eating fruit.
