Mu Yichen called her to join him for dinner at Jing Feng’s place, and since it involved seeing Helian Hao, she had no reason to refuse, so she agreed.
After finishing tea with Wen Runuan, she went upstairs and lay on the bed, thinking about Mu Yichen.
If Jian Yan was soone that made her worried, then Mu Yichen was certainly one who gave her headaches now.
Before dark, Mu Yichen’s car stopped at the hotel entrance; Qin Mu ca downstairs dressed elegantly, saw his car, and walked over hastily.
"Young Mistress!"
The staff greeted her and helped open the car door.
Mu Yichen turned his face slightly, his eyes critically assessing her polished appearance, and couldn’t help but glance at her face a few more tis, but he didn’t ask anything and drove off.
Qin Mu placed her bag aside, fastened her seatbelt, then leaned back in the seat, watching the scenery outside.
"Have you been with Jing Feng all day?"
"Mm!"
Mu Yichen responded with a sound, but a few seconds later, he let out a chuckle.
Qin Mu curiously glanced back at him, her diamond-like sparkling eyes fixed on the sharply defined half of his profile.
Mu Yichen remained silent, just driving toward Jing Feng and Helian Hao’s apartnt.
Qin Mu didn’t understand why he suddenly beca so silent, only thinking she must avoid pitfalls.
Mu Yichen wore a deeply somber dark blue suit, and Qin Mu followed him to the base of Jing Feng’s building, watching his back and couldn’t help but ask, "You didn’t seem to be wearing that suit when you left this morning."
Mu Yichen turned his head only while waiting for the elevator, giving her a brief dismissive glance: "Were you wearing this outfit this morning?"
Qin Mu...
"I had tea with Wen Runuan this afternoon and took a nap upstairs; of course, I changed when I woke up. How about you?"
Qin Mu’s eyes were filled with curiosity.
"? I spent the day working out with Jing Feng, sweated, showered, naturally changed clothes."
Mu Yichen answered lightly just as the elevator opened and he stepped in with his long legs.
Qin Mu followed behind him but couldn’t resist raising her hand to rub at her forehead, thinking Mu Yichen’s statent about spending the day working out seed loaded, and she involuntarily wandered with her thoughts.

"Are they really coming over?"
Helian Hao, just back from work, couldn’t believe it when the man in the kitchen said Mu Yichen and Qin Mu would be visiting.
"Mm! They should already be on their way!"
Jing Feng responded while preparing dinner.
Helian Hao quickly took off her coat, ready to wash her hands; she rolled up her sweater sleeves to go to the bathroom but heard the doorbell ring.
"They couldn’t have arrived so quickly, could they? I’ll get the door!"
Helian Hao glanced at the door in shock and was about to head out.
"Hey! There’s a bit of an issue between them, so be discreet!"
Jing Feng quietly reminded her.
Helian Hao nodded knowingly and then went to open the door.
Indeed, it was them, arriving empty-handed at the apartnt.
"Oops! Ca in a hurry! Forgot to bring gifts!"
Qin Mu stood in front, cheerfully greeting Helian Hao.
"I’m used to it! Please co in!"
Helian Hao smiled at Qin Mu, then stepped aside to invite them in but couldn’t help giving Mu Yichen a rather unwelcoming look as she did.
"So Mu always cos too! I thought it would just be our Mumu dropping by and forgetting the gifts!"
Helian Hao teased sarcastically.
"When did I ever bring anything to your place? Your mory seems to be a bit faulty!"
Mu Yichen placed his hands in his pockets, swaggering inside.
Helian Hao...
"Never t anyone as shaless as your husband!"
Helian Hao rushed to Qin Mu’s side, whispering quietly in her ear.
Mu Yichen pretended he heard nothing, being accustod to such comnts, he no longer reacted.
"Tell about it!"
Qin Mu whispered back conspiratorially to Helian Hao.
"You guys arrived, feel free to sit!"
Jing Feng said.
Mu Yichen effortlessly sat down on the largest sofa in their house.
Helian Hao was just about to pull Qin Mu to sit there, but she had to tell Qin Mu, "Accompany to the bathroom!"
Helian Hao had many questions she wanted to ask Qin Mu and hadn’t washed her hands since returning, making it a convenient ti.
Though Qin Mu initially thought accompanying to the bathroom was odd, Helian Hao was acting secretively and closed the door, making Qin Mu increasingly suspicious.
"What’s going on with you two? Is it because of Jian Yan?"
Helian Hao, after closing the door, imdiately turned to Qin Mu and asked quietly.
