Fanghua reminded everyone that these were for her grandchildren, and no one could touch a single cent.
"Mom, you should save it for them. In the future, whenever they receive red envelopes, you can save them! When they’re older and need the money, you can give it to them!"
Qin Mu said.
"I have no problem with that, but your dad insisted I give it to you!"
Fanghua sighed as she spoke, thinking about how her husband and grandson were both out to eat tonight. On the first day of the New Year, they went out for dinner with friends. Fanghua, however, was not in the mood for socializing and stayed ho for a bit of peace, waiting for her son and daughter-in-law to co back and have a warm chat.
Once the help returned, the three of them, along with the two little ones, finally had a comfortable dinner together.
At the dining table, Fanghua looked at her son, who was at ho for once, and curiously asked, "Yichen, you usually don’t co ho all day on the first day of the New Year!"
Mu Yichen lifted his gaze and chuckled softly, "This year is an exception. I’ve already t up with them at noon. I didn’t feel like going again tonight!"
Qin Mu was puzzled too but didn’t ask him. She speculated a bit in her mind, but couldn’t co up with a reason, so she didn’t ask further.
"Of course, Qin Mu and I prefer you staying ho for dinner with us. It’s simple, yet we really enjoy it. Right, Qin Mu?"
Fanghua turned to Qin Mu and asked her.
"Huh? Yeah! Yes!"
Qin Mu was startled, not expecting the conversation to suddenly shift to her.
As she gave her wooden reply, Mu Yichen glanced at her.
That glance was deep, and she felt like his gaze was penetrating to every cell of her being.
"Dad, we also enjoy having als with you!"
Huanhuan imdiately expressed her thoughts to Mu Yichen, looking up at him.
Mu Yichen glanced at his daughter sitting opposite him and snorted with laughter. He thought to himself, "This girl, day by day, your sweet-talking is getting better and better, and you know just how to charm !"

After losing another round, Fanghua was a bit frustrated and grumbled at her son for not being considerate.
Mu Yichen looked at his mother speechlessly, amused yet exasperated. Initially, she had told him not to go easy on them, and now she was saying he had no grace.
Qin Mu, on the other hand, didn’t criticize him at all because she always thought she just had bad luck with her cards. Sotis she could even identify why she lost, so she kept reminding herself to try harder in the next round and make sure to win.
Starting over, Mu Yichen looked at his cards, which were a little scattered, but almost all the cards were red. They say red cards indicate luck, making him believe he was going to win.
anwhile, Qin Mu had several bombs in her hand and felt she was about to turn the tables.
Mu Yichen quietly observed her expression, guessing that her hand must be good this round. However, he found that Qin Mu had a flaw: she didn’t consider her opponent’s cards much. She seed to be living in her own world, not paying much attention to others.
Qin Mu decided not to let Mu Yichen play any cards, so after he beca the landlord and played once, she imdiately bombed his move. However, her cards were also scattered, so being the player right after him, she unwillingly set things up for him.
Mu Yichen held his phone, his dark eyes showing a bit of mischief as he looked at his wife sitting with Mrs. Feng.
After realizing that all three of their hands were quite scattered, Mu Yichen was in no rush and decided to play it slow.
Three tis, she bombed him, and three tis, she set him up with cards. Qin Mu, seeing what she had left, finally admitted defeat.
Fanghua occasionally turned to peek at Qin Mu’s cards, and Qin Mu was happy to let her see.
Mu Yichen looked at Qin Mu’s expression and chuckled softly, "Do you want to go easy on you?"
Qin Mu finally looked up at him but imdiately refused, "No need!"
Mu Yichen smiled at her again, his mischievous gaze seeming to say, "I just love that stubborn little look of yours, even when you’re about to lose."
"Exactly, it’s two against one. Why should we need you to go easy? Don’t think that just because you won the previous rounds, you’ll win this one too. Qin Mu’s almost out of cards, but I haven’t even started yet!"
Fanghua was anxious in her heart, wishing he would let them win, but she spoke slowly and proudly, challenging her son.
Mu Yichen couldn’t help but laugh, "Qin Mu has used three bombs, and she was so afraid of setting up again that she chose the biggest cards. Now she probably only has three small cards left that you can’t do anything with. As for you... I still have two bombs and no single card below a King. If I lose this round, I won’t play with you anymore!"
