Xiaoi playfully stuck out her tongue, knowing she shouldn’t curse Jian Yan like that.
Qin Mu chuckled: "He’s so outstanding, how could he possibly be alone forever?"
"Yeah! That’s true! He’s so excellent, he’ll definitely be snatched away by other girls!"
Xiaoi nodded and then suddenly sighed.
"Why are you sighing?"
Qin Mu asked her.
"Honestly, when I first saw you with Jian Yan, I thought you two would make a pair. Later, when I found out you were with President Mu, I thought maybe I’d see the clouds part and the moonlight shine through, but in the end, he was snatched away by a girl who showed up so late. Ah! How could I not sigh?"
Xiaoi complained quietly, walking out from behind her desk, still hugging files like a girl with a secret.
Qin Mu also once thought Xiaoi would end up with Jian Yan and believed Jian Yan would be moved by Xiaoi, but didn’t expect Jian Yan to be so clear-headed.

Even before seeing her face clearly, Xiaoi already sensed the powerful aura emanating from this woman.
"Hello! I’m Chen Xiaoi, is there anything I can help you with?"
The woman entered the studio with a bodyguard, turned around, and finally glanced at Xiaoi for a bit, her deanor seemingly well-trained, a bit formal yet embodying grandeur.
"Why is no one working?"
The woman’s composed voice inquired.
"Oh, everyone took this afternoon off; work officially starts tomorrow. Anything you need, you can tell !"
Xiaoi remained earnest, having experienced big occasions before and not losing her composure over a dignified woman.
"So Qin Mu must not be around?"
Looking towards the stairs, the woman asked steadily.
Upon hearing the woman suddenly ntion Qin Mu, sounding rather familiar, Xiaoi’s big dark eyes darted, discreetly murmuring in reply: "Miss Qin is here, may I ask your na?"
"No need for formality, my surna is Liu!"
Upon hearing Qin Mu was present, the woman, looking towards the stairway, lowered her eyes, addressing Xiaoi.
"Please have a seat over there; I’ll call her down for you!"
Xiaoi kindly gestured with hospitality.
The woman nodded and automatically went to the sofa in the reception area.
Xiaoi headed upstairs, closing Qin Mu’s office door, and approached Qin Mu, softly whispering the scene downstairs in her ear.
"Surna Liu? What’s her full na?"
Qin Mu, sowhat puzzled, wondered, her brows showing slight skepticism.
"Uh! I forgot to ask!"
Xiaoi suddenly felt as if her brain short-circuited; she had focused only on manners and had only asked for the surna.
However, Xiaoi ntioned her surna was Liu and noted her graceful conduct, which made Qin Mu think of soone.
"Although this person has a bodyguard, she doesn’t appear very threatening. I see Brother Hang outside too, do you want to call him in?"
Xiaoi described the situation to Qin Mu, seeking her opinion.
"It’s not a fight, no need!"
Qin Mu whispered, then stood up: "Let’s go!"
Seeing Qin Mu’s steady deanor, Xiaoi sensed Qin Mu might know sothing and thus didn’t ask further, following her down the stairs.
On the stairs, Qin Mu saw the reception downstairs, where the woman was on the phone, her silhouette alone revealing her extraordinary nature.
After approaching and standing aside, Qin Mu waited for Ms. Liu to finish her call, refraining from sitting or disturbing her.
The woman didn’t glance up until three minutes later, finishing her call and asking: "You are Qin Mu?"
"Indeed!"
Qin Mu responded seriously, turning to Xiaoi: "Bring two cups of tea!"
"Sure!"
Xiaoi nodded and went to make tea. Qin Mu sat opposite Ms. Liu.
"I’ve co from Beijing, actually, I have so connections with the Wang Family!"
Ms. Liu said.
Qin Mu slightly raised her eyes, observing the confidence on the woman’s face and rely smiled subtly.
The Wang Family Ms. Liu ntioned should be Wang Huanyu’s family.
Qin Mu observed she was around thirty, glanced at her finger adorned with a jade ring, guessing Ms. Liu was married, likely into a wealthy family, with a presumably large clan.
"I wonder what brings Ms. Liu to Rongcheng, and here specifically, what might be the reason?"
Qin Mu pondered before getting to the main point.
