From start to finish, Mu Yichen remained silent; it was Xi ng returning later who, upon not seeing Zhang Hongyun at her workstation, went to Mu Yichen’s office door to knock: "Mu Yichen!"

Mu Yichen replied indifferently, still leaning by the desk, lowering his head, with no additional words.
Xi ng opened the door, saw Mu Yichen standing, then glanced at Qiao Yi and Zhao Huai, understanding what had happened.
