"If you’re busy, then forget it!"
Qin Mingzhu said a bit sadly on the phone to Wang Huanyu. Qin Mu sat beside her, trying not to laugh at her sister’s unusually gentle deanor.
"I ran into Grandpa and Brother-in-law at the hotel!"

Wang Huanyu hung up the phone, smoking a bit lancholically. However, thinking of how Mu Yichen might regret his decision tonight, he felt quite pleased. Over the years, Mu Yichen had always held the upper hand, making Wang Huanyu feel insignificant.

When Wang Huanyu returned ho, Qin Mu and Qin Mingzhu were still on the couch, eating snacks and watching TV. The house’s main lights were all off, only the dim lights casting a subtle glow around.
He gently placed his coat aside and watched Qin Mingzhu snuggling up to Qin Mu while watching TV. He suddenly rembered how she once said she would never be friends with Qin Mu. Yet, in just a few years, this little darling of his couldn’t do without Qin Mu.
"This person is just like Brother-in-law, cold as ice. Hey, do you think such n are kind of annoying?"
Qin Mingzhu curiously asked Qin Mu.
Qin Mu almost rolled her eyes, frowning as she looked at the male lead on the screen who loved the female lead to death but wouldn’t admit it. She thought, how could this guy be the sa as Mu Yichen? Mu Yichen had said "I love you" to her no less than a million tis. In that respect, her Mu Yichen was unbeatable.
"Who calls their brother-in-law annoying? Have so manners!"
Qin Mu softly reprimanded her, her eyes still glued to the TV. She wondered how her husband would react when she returned, given she hadn’t inford him of her visit.
But right now, she really didn’t plan to et him. Everything could be addressed later.
"I tried inviting Brother-in-law over tonight, but he declined!"
Wang Huanyu’s voice naturally blended into their conversation, as if he had been there all along.
The two won, holding snacks, turned to him with surprise. When did he arrive?
"When did you co back? I didn’t hear a thing!"
Qin Mingzhu excitedly grinned.
"Just now! You seed so engrossed, I didn’t want to interrupt!"
Wang Huanyu smiled and walked over, sitting on the other side of Qin Mingzhu. Seeing the snacks in her arms, he said, "I bought those over a month ago and you said you didn’t like them. What made you eat them today?"
"Hehe! I just wanted to snack with my sister!"
Qin Mu couldn’t help but take her snacks and move to the adjacent sofa. This spot used to be frequently occupied by Qin Haiming. However, she couldn’t stand watching those two flaunt their love any longer, feeling as if she was being overwheld by their affection.
"Not going back to the Mu Family tonight?"
Wang Huanyu naturally placed his hand behind Qin Mingzhu, half embracing her, and looked up at Qin Mu to ask.
"If I crash here for the night, you wouldn’t kick out, would you?"
Qin Mu asked with doubt, thinking of herself as a huge third wheel, though the house had plenty of rooms.
"This is your ho, you can co back anyti!"
Wang Huanyu smiled slightly and said to her.
Qin Mu believed he was being sincere, so she said no more, though she had lost interest in the TV.
