Feng Fanghua spoke as she strode inside, not bothering to look at anyone else.
Upon reaching the VIP lounge area, she sat down in the most comfortable sofa with her purse, and the general manager raised his eyes, looking at Qin Mu with a startled expression, then quickly smiled: "Oh! Isn’t this the young mistress of the Mu Family! I didn’t expect your relationship with your mother-in-law to be so good, coming together for beauty treatnts!"

Feng Fanghua glanced up at the general manager’s smug look and replied coldly.

The general manager laughed along, lowering his voice as if fearing soone might overhear.
"Humph! Who knows who really said what? This one says it’s that one talking, and that one says it was soone else."
Feng Fanghua chuckled lightly, then glanced inside: "Old Zhang isn’t available yet? I’ve told you countless tis that he’s my personal beautician; why did you let soone else use him again."
"Oh! I wouldn’t dare let others use him. Today, it was his sister who insisted on getting a facial from him. We didn’t know you were coming, so he helped out. Rest assured, I’ve already urged him to co over, he’ll be here shortly."
Qin Mu sat beside her, quietly listening to Feng Fanghua and the general manager’s lively conversation. She wanted to play on her phone but feared being impolite, planning to wait until Feng Fanghua went for the treatnt. Unexpectedly, Feng Fanghua offered her regular beautician to Qin Mu, insisting she try it out.
At noon, Mu Yichen took Yang Qin to drink with a client, who volunteered to block a drink for Mu Yichen, causing the client to awkwardly stop offering more drinks while joking: "Mu’s new secretary is even more impressive than Secretary Xi. Secretary Xi only blocks drinks when absolutely necessary."

Mu Yichen smiled casually, engaging in small talk.
Yang Qin didn’t understand their implication and simply said quietly: "Secretary Xi’s work is much better than mine."
The client looked at Yang Qin again, his eyes seed amused, saying, this woman is quite interesting!
"I’m very confident in Secretary Xi’s work; you wouldn’t know, but I’ve t her several tis."
The client spoke to her with a smile, giving off a genial vibe despite being under forty, appearing very experienced in socializing.
"Boss, I’m going to the restroom!"
The client’s secretary spoke, and after the client nodded, she left.
"I heard Juyuan landed a major client?"
Mu Yichen changed the topic.
"What major client could be more significant than Mu? It’s just better than those small companies! Our company just went public this year; it’s really a case of external demand and internal vacancy. That’s why I ca to find Mu. If Mu could let our company take the bulk, I guarantee we won’t lose money, and while maintaining higher quality, I’ll do whatever you say."
The client spoke, even personally pouring wine for Mu Yichen, who looked down at the glass then smiled lightly, giving nothing away.
He had never given any company the sole chance to monopolize business, nor did he intend to.
Later, realizing it was tough to sway Mu Yichen, the client conversed with Yang Qin, leaving Mu Yichen bored, sending ssages to Qin Mu.
"Where are you?" he sent one ssage, then another, "Have you eaten?"
"With mom at a Western restaurant in Western City, just finished a beauty treatnt."
Qin Mu replied, recalling being held tightly by him sleeping last night, unconsciously biting her lip, prompting Feng Fanghua to scrutinize her with curious eyes from across.
"Did you accompany mom for a beauty treatnt?"
Mu Yichen smiled noncommittally; Yang Qin instinctively turned to glance at him, seeing him chatting with Qin Mu, she gave a faint smile then focused back on dealing with the client.
"Yes! Mom accompanied to see Mingzhu, reciprocating hospitality!"
Qin Mu replied, then lifted her gaze to find Feng Fanghua staring at her, imdiately explaining: "It’s Mu Yichen!"
Feng Fanghua’s gaze shifted from her face to the glass in her hands: "Did I ask you anything?"
Qin Mu...
You don’t have to ask, I wouldn’t dare not tell!
"Hmm!"
Mu Yichen replied with a single character, as if he were the leader.
Seeing his response, Qin Mu sent a series of ellipses for him to interpret himself, and Mu Yichen, seeing them, chuckled quietly.
To Yang Qin, Mu Yichen must really love Qin Mu to smile foolishly even in public; it’s well-known that he never shows a good face at work.
