Now reading: Chapter 564 - 163: The Founder Reappears? (Part 3) from Hogwarts: Bloodline Legend, a Fantasy novel by The moonlight is so beautiful..

"They are just huddling together for warmth. You can still see werewolves living miserably here, people who still retain so conscience inside, even if there might not be much left."

Lupin defended the werewolves.

While he and the little wizard stood outside on the street, speaking softly.

"Remus Lupin, bringing a normal person, especially a child, here is not a wise decision." An elder, trying to appear dignified in his old wizard’s robe, erged from one of the houses, followed closely by many young wizards with wary gazes.

"Before anyone among us loses their sanity, quickly take this little wizard away." The elder’s robe was faded from washing, and his deep voice was uncertain if it was a warning or advice.

"I just want to inquire about sothing."

Lupin quickly expressed his purpose, visibly nervous—no one understood the werewolves’ ntal issues better than him. Indeed, a werewolf who seed normal a mont ago might suddenly break down and attack others. After all, they had lost everything and could snap at any mont.

"What do you want to inquire about?"

The elder slightly frowned.

Evidently, he played the role of the "Alpha Wolf," with other werewolves standing by him, not interacting with Lupin, possibly indicating Lupin didn’t have good relations within the werewolf community.

"Spirit Awakening Potion."

Lupin succinctly explained his intention.

"We agreed not to speak about this to anyone. Where did you get this information?" The elder curiously furrowed his brow, casting a puzzled glance at Lupin.

"I naturally have my sources."

Lupin ambiguously replied, clearly understanding how unreasonable the werewolves were here, and he must not reveal that he and the little wizard had retaliated against a werewolf who attempted to ambush him.

"Take it. You are eligible to have it." The elder did not inquire further but directly took out a potion and tossed it to Lupin, perhaps indicating they had plenty in stock.

"Rember to keep it secret."

Seeing Lupin catch the potion, the elder seriously reminded him again. Lupin had no intention of delving further into this.

Lupin fixated on the elder standing not far away, "The person who gave you the potion—I want to know more about him. Do you think he could be Godric Gryffindor himself?"

Evidently.

Compared to the werewolves’ sches, Lupin was more concerned about his academy’s founder.

"I cannot provide you with any information. We are as skeptical as you, but whether he’s a legendary figure from a millennium ago has nothing to do with us." The elder shook his head and spoke softly. The werewolves beside him mostly nodded in agreent.

"The potion is indeed useful to us; that’s the key point... whether he is your founder, the creator of such a potion is hardly a qualified rchant."

The elder’s statents drew agreent from the little wizard, too.

Indeed.

A true rchant would never create a permanent Wolf Poison Potion.

"Aren’t you afraid of paying consequences? Beyond just the stolen Golden Galleons?" Lupin held the potion in his hand, its blood-like crimson color appearing rather eerie.

He didn’t intend to use it right away but handed it to the little wizard beside him—trusting soone from the Prince family in matters of magic potions was never wrong.

A fifth of a Prince is still a Prince.

Ian, who received the potion, imdiately opened the bottle and sniffed its contents, his expression changing slightly at the surprise of not detecting any materials used in potion-making.

"There’s so interference thod hidden in this magic potion, a security asure?" The little wizard speculated, trying harder to detect anything with his nose but finding nothing.

While Ian attempted to analyze the Spirit Awakening Potion.

"Do you an perhaps there is a heavier cost hidden in this potion?" The elder suddenly chuckled, looking at Lupin with a complex expression.

"Remus Lupin, you might think you’re unfortunate, but there are many among us worse off than you; at least you haven’t experienced the most heart-wrenching agony."

"Look at the comrades beside —how many of them have killed their children, wives, or even parents themselves? Such despair you will never understand."

"Already at rock bottom... what consequences are we afraid of facing?" The elder’s words had a tinge of tragic undertone that left Lupin silent for a mont.

Faces of the werewolves around revealed varying degrees of sorrow or veiled expressions, a sense of anguish pervading the air, accurately perceived by Ian possessing Thought Perception.

"Take your potion and leave!"

A werewolf, stirred by the painful flashback, finally shouted at Lupin with a hostile tone, a sentint echoed by many werewolves who weren’t keen on accepting Lupin.

Perhaps because Lupin’s situation wasn’t miserable enough?

"Of course! I really appreciate your assistance!" Seeing the atmosphere turn a bit tense, Lupin quickly wanted to pull the little wizard away.

However.

"Wait."

The elder suddenly stopped Lupin.

"Is there anything else? Oh, right, I forgot to pay." Lupin abruptly realized, reaching into his robe to search.

A second passed.

Five seconds passed.

Ten seconds passed.

He rummaged through his robe for a long ti, finally pulling out over ten copper Knuts. The expression on this desperate werewolf looked quite embarrassed, his face red as he stretched his hand out.

"I will gather enough money to pay."

He attempted to use a "Credit Loan."

However.

The elder didn’t look at the money in his hand.

"I said, regarding the potion... keep it secret."

He.

And the werewolves beside him.

At that mont, they all focused their attention on the little wizard.
