Ian felt his head buzz the mont he heard rlin ntion the words "God Eater, divh," and his whole body instantly froze. His expression shifted from initial shock to extre complexity.
It was as if his heart was beating like a drum—restless and uneasy, with all sorts of thoughts colliding madly. To be fair, the nas rlin ntioned were indeed completely unexpected to Ian.
A myriad of thoughts flashed through his mind swiftly. Although his face remained calm, a storm was brewing inside. divh—this na was all too familiar to him because it was actually another identity of his, an alias he used during his walks through history.
He never imagined that the tomb rlin was so keen to rob would be related to his hidden alias, divh. This enormous shock made Ian instinctively want to break the deal.
After all, who would want to rob their own tomb? It was simply too absurd! Ian couldn't help but feel a sense of magical irony.
It was as if fate had played an enormous joke on him.
"I have to rob my own tomb?" Ian found the terms of the contract deeply entrenched and unshakable, his face turning as sour as a bitter lon. Indeed, when dealing with the world, one must eventually pay the price.
"Hmm? Is there a problem?" rlin noticed Ian's odd expression and looked at the nervously behaving teenage Legendary Wizard in front of him with so confusion.
"No... no problem."
Ian forced out a smile.
At this mont.
"rlin! I warn you! divh is the Great Guardian of our Soul Hall! If you dare disturb his elder's rest, Soul Hall will make you pay dearly!"
"Don't think our Soul Hall lacks Legends!" The indignant protest of the Shadow Creature rang out again, apparently caring deeply about divh, which made Ian glance at it several tis.
Great Guardian of the Soul Hall?
Hiss~
The Little Wizard had so incredible suspicions enter his mind. However, rlin seed indifferent to the Shadow Creature's threats; he wasn't the kind to consider others' concerns.
At least not for now.
"Teacher! You! You actually..." Little Morgan ca to her senses, opening her mouth excitedly as if wanting to say sothing, only for Ian to cover her mouth, preventing her from blabbing.
"Mmm mmm~"
Little Morgan made a sound of vague significance.
She looked at her teacher puzzledly, only to find her teacher watching rlin with an amused expression and uttering so truly fierce words to him.
"I've heard of divh as well, so I'm very interested in this collaboration. Let's dig up his tomb and see what secrets are hidden inside!"
How could that not be considered fierce?
To speak of digging up one's own tomb with such determination—actually, the Little Wizard's thoughts were also influenced by the Shadow Creature's reminder. If divh's tomb truly exists, what does it an?
Could it an that he will die soday in the future, and this tomb is his ultimate resting place? Or is it the product of so kind of ti paradox?
Clearly, there was a divh's Treasure Vault in Gringotts... How could divh be buried in rlin's era? Regardless, after so emotional calm, Ian realized that no matter what the truth of this divh's tomb might be, he had to see it for himself.
"It seems there is information about this God Eater in future generations as well." rlin was still sowhat puzzled by Ian's reaction, but he didn't ask further, only pondering.
"We call him the Supre Wizard."
Ian was probing.
And rlin's unfamiliar surprise at this title made Ian realize that perhaps in the information rlin was seeking, divh did not bear the title of Supre Wizard while causing trouble.
No, while wandering the world.
This made Ian quite curious about why he wouldn't use the title of Supre Wizard, even though God Eater was also a decent title. But Supre Wizard was his favorite moniker.
"The God Eater has had many inexplicable titles. It's not surprising I haven't heard of the one you ntioned," rlin, apparently misunderstanding Ian's confusion, proactively explained.
"Hmm."
Ian said nothing.
This was a style he was familiar with.
"Since you're planning to join in, then it's settled. I need to go back and make so preparations." rlin continued, considering Ian a "Demigod" too.
With two Legendary Wizards nearing "Demigod" status, it surely was enough to venture into the tomb he'd discovered. Surely a deceased God Eater couldn't be so terrifying that two "Demigods" couldn't handle it?
"No problem, I need to go prepare as well." Ian said while releasing Little Morgan.
"Uh... Teacher..." Little Morgan blinked. Though full of confusion, upon seeing Ian's serious expression, she wisely refrained from saying more.
"Rember my Ti Converter and your magic knowledge." Ian reminded rlin not to forget their wager. He was quite anxious about returning ho as soon as possible.
In comparison, rlin's knowledge was just an added bonus. After all, the two were of similar levels. rlin's knowledge could at most help Ian solidify his foundation and broaden his horizons sowhat.
"Don't worry, I don't have a habit of reneging on debts." rlin sighed gently, unwilling to recall the recent battle, and directly ford hand signs to teleport away from this desert.
