It was a massive magic attack.
"Damn evil Shadow Crow! You even target children! He’s just a kid! And you dare to use him to possess!" rlin stood in the center of the hall, eyes full of vigilance and determination. As his hands waved, dazzling magical beams shot towards Ian like lightning.
Obviously.
rlin mistakenly thought Ian was possessed by the Raven’s corpse. The Ian appearing before him now was no longer the familiar one, but a body controlled by so evil spirit.
"What the heck?"
Ian was caught off guard by the sudden attack. He found it both helpless and amusing that rlin thought he’d been possessed by the Raven’s corpse!
It’s utterly absurd!
"Can’t we just talk it over?"
Ian didn’t dodge.
His body directly took the magic.
There was no choice.
This was sheer defiance.
Because at this mont, he was still in his Animagus form, a powerful magic creature seemingly with magic immunity, rendering the successive spells ineffective.
There was no need to dodge.
All magic disintegrated upon touching Ian.
"I’m Ian, your creditor, not so unfortunate possessed soul!" Ian tried to explain to rlin, but speaking in Raven form made his voice rather peculiar.
"Hah."
rlin, familiar with this tone and manner of speaking, was clearly skeptical of Ian’s justification and was unmoved, escalating his attacks on Ian instead.
All at once.
A variety of magical spells unfolded in the hall. Even without the augntation of a physical body, rlin with his unique bloodline could exert strengths comparable to the Human World.
However.
Even as a Legendary Demigod.
Countless magic beams rained down on Ian like a storm, but rlin’s magic seed as flimsy as paper, shaking the surrounding hall with grandeur without causing any harm to the Little Wizard.
"Enough already!"
They say even a clay figure has so temper, let alone Ian, who was not a clay figure. Faced with rlin’s relentless attacks, Ian flapped his wings and charged at rlin.
His speed surpassed the perception of the naked eye, even rlin couldn’t react in ti. rlin’s magic beams exploded behind Ian, unable to catch up with his speed. rlin’s defenses were no stronger than paper, pierced through directly by Ian.
The Magic Shield shattered without even a ripple. Ian flew directly over rlin’s head, pecking him hard on the head.
"Ah!!!"
rlin cried out in pain.
Ian was unmoved.
Continuing to peck at rlin with his beak, he seed to master it effortlessly, couldn’t be more skilled, turning rlin’s head into a full bump in no ti.
"Ouch!"
rlin cried out in pain, almost dropping his Magic Wand.
"Damn it! And you say you’re not possessed!"
He fled with his head in his hands, unable to escape Ian’s attacks—although Ian was holding back, knowing that rlin still owed him a mountain of debt.
Otherwise.
Ian felt he could as easily devour rlin’s brain and knew he’d gain all of rlin’s knowledge after doing so.
"This Shadow Crow is truly sinister."
Realizing this, Ian couldn’t help but sigh. Even so, he didn’t stop chasing after rlin, the two of them scampering wildly through the Relic Hall.
Of course, to be precise, it was rlin running around. No matter how he fled, he couldn’t dodge Ian’s attacks, unable to prevent the bumps continually forming on his head due to slow reactions.
From afar, Ian seed unable to find a spot to peck on rlin’s head. Even rlin’s hardiness as a Wizard couldn’t hold out as he encroached upon his handso face.
"Alright! Alright! You’re not possessed! Please stop!" rlin finally yelled, clearly conceding, his voice tinged with helplessness and pain.
No one knew what he was thinking, only knowing that at the very least he didn’t dare to ntion possession anymore, for if his forehead was hit, his face couldn’t be far behind, could it?
"If you’d realized the truth earlier, none of this would’ve happened..." Ian heard rlin’s shout and finally stopped, flying to rlin and slowly transforming back into human form.
"Tsk tsk, divh transforming into Raven, really quite fitting." Ian looked down at his reacquired human hands, feeling familiar with his human body again.
They say Animagi consu a lot of energy.
But the Little Wizard only felt unspeakable excitent yet to dissipate.
"Phew~"
rlin took a long breath.
Covering his head, now resembling a large Buddha statue, wearing a bitter expression.
"I shouldn’t have co to this place in the first place. If I hadn’t co here, I wouldn’t..." he muttered, his regretful expression akin to a ntal breakdown.
"It’s your own fault for causing trouble, how could I be possessed..." Ian rolled his eyes, responding to his grumble, rlin only remained silent, neither admitting nor denying.
The slight flicker in his eyes seed to indicate a hint of distrust.
"Hmm?"
At Ian’s slight sound.
rlin reacted as if struck by lightning.
"Of course, you’re right, it was foolish of ." rlin quickly conceded, regardless of what he thought, his actions showing a major psychological impact from the recent events.
