Ian found his two roommates, and William was comforting the crying Michael.
"He went to ask Little Black Sister if she was a tease, and now she’s ignoring him." William explained helplessly, a situation Ian did not foresee.
"Impressive!"
Ian gave Michael a thumbs-up.
This roommate’s emotional intelligence was not low, so why is it that when it cos to romance, it begs for ridicule? Is every love-struck fool like this?
Both of them began to comfort Michael.

William offered the most comfort.
Ian was busy touting his "Forgetfulness Water"—the Ministry of Magic had banned the sale of Amortentia, but hadn’t prohibited alchemists from brewing Forgetfulness Water.

Ian could even concoct Forgetfulness Water that once consud, you’d never love a woman again, although for now, its side effects include potentially making you love n instead.

Just as the little wizard thought his Forgetfulness Water was another brilliant invention, the lecturer, "Professor Lockhart," cleared his throat and began his lesson.
The blond wizard still wore that flamboyant violet robe, his dazzling smile was blinding but lacked the sharpness typical of Grindelwald’s gaze.
"What’s going on? Is this another impostor? But it doesn’t quite seem like it." Ian was puzzled, speculating secretly, while the lecturer was oblivious to this.
He continued teaching earnestly.
"Today we’ll learn a simple magic—Black Snake Erges from the Hole." The fake Lockhart waved his magic wand and wrote so spells on the board. Although the course content was certainly more detailed than before, Ian keenly noticed the professor’s magic power fluctuations were unreasonably weak.
Undoubtedly, they were stronger than most wizards but nowhere near the level Grindelwald should have—moreover, "Professor Lockhart’s" teaching was accurate, explaining thoroughly, full of substance. Yet Ian always felt sothing odd, like sothing was off.
"Grindelwald wouldn’t be so patient!"
Lost in thought as Lockhart passed by.
Ian suddenly reached out and touched his hand, "Professor Lockhart" was clearly shocked by the sudden gesture, spun around, and shot Ian a fierce glare.
Then.
He resud his lecture as if nothing had happened. Ian, having touched his hand, imdiately understood—the "Professor Lockhart" before him was none other than his good friend Aurora disguised as the lecturer, substituting for her grandfather to teach the little wizards.
Was it an ergency?
Or perhaps a chance for Aurora to hone her skills?
No matter the reason, Ian felt he should’ve realized it instantly, given the few Harry Potter books he’d read had similar plotlines.
"Ah, too bad I’m not the protagonist... Such a golden opportunity missed ." Truth be told, Ian didn’t care about flaunting, what saddened him was missing such a rare chance.

He could truly, lawfully teach them so truly advanced magic! Why bother with Black Snake Erges from the Hole? Observers might mistakenly think Hogwarts doesn’t have its own Unforgivable Curses!
