Vid certainly would not refuse; he took Dumbledore’s hand.

The aged Fox suddenly emitted a clear cry.

Vid heard the ticking sound of the clock’s hands and also heard the rustling of pages being flipped. The surroundings suddenly beca surreal, changing rapidly like a kaleidoscope.

It was like an Apparition, yet without the uncomfortable feeling of being compressed into a tube.

Suddenly, Vid’s body swayed, and the scenery stabilized.

They appeared inside an unfamiliar building, its thick stone walls covered with scratches, torches burning fiercely on them.

The place was very cold, though Vid could not feel it, he saw everyone around wearing thick fur coats, with white breath puffing out from their noses.

Yet their faces remained blurry, like poor quality surveillance footage.

"What kind of magic is this, Professor?" Vid asked.

"A type of mory Magic... hmm, a complex application," Dumbledore replied.

"So... They are all from soone’s mory?" Vid scrutinized the people around.

"Accurately speaking, I witnessed soone’s mory and then recreated it in this dramatic manner."

Dumbledore said, "Although I could use the Pensieve to take you into that actual mory, it would be too long."

Within mory fragnts, there’s always a lot of redundant information and uninteresting dialogue. Even piecing together small segnts of a few minutes can beco overly lengthy, and he guessed Vid probably didn’t want to spend too much ti on this.

What Dumbledore essentially wanted to show him was not those elents.

As they talked, the two followed several professors and students in crimson robes along the dark stone corridors, turning corner after corner, descending layer after layer of stairs, finally stopping at a wooden door.

The door bore circular, triangular, and vertical line engravings, the mark of the Deathly Hallows.

The leading tense-faced wizard pointed his Magic Wand, and the wooden door blew open with a bang, everyone rushed inside.

In the room was a handso blond youth, skin pale, blue eyes like sparkling gems.

Among the many blurry-faced people, he was the only one whose appearance was very clear, as if on a different layer than everyone else.

He was facing away from the doorway, lightly waving his Magic Wand as if dancing. Hearing the commotion, he turned around in surprise and then frowned.

Ahead of the youth, and on the shelves in the room, were bottles and jars of various sizes, resembling Snape’s Potions Classroom.

But upon closer inspection, so jars contained twisted forms, so emitted moaning black smoke, one glance was enough to instill disgust and foreboding.

And on the table lay an open book with bizarre illustrations, depicting people undergoing cruel tornt.

"Gellert Grindelwald!" The intruder coldly called out the person’s na, "Soone reported you secretly conducting evil experints in school. I initially thought this was slander against you, but it turns out to be true!"

The blond youth Grindelwald glanced mockingly at a student in the crowd, who shrunk back, hiding behind a professor.

The youth was roughly dragged out, with soone saying, "Just wait! This ti you will surely be expelled! Even in our school, your actions are absolutely unacceptable!"

"Oh, is that so?"

The youth sneered, and when his wand was about to be taken away, he brazenly resisted, the Spell’s light exploded, knocking the person away.

Blood splattered, soone scread, and a fierce battle ensued. So fled hurriedly, seemingly to fetch reinforcents.

Blue flas suddenly flared, a student rolled on the ground, while the blond youth flew backward, crashing into a shelf by the wall, bottles and jars smashing to the ground.

The youth raised his head, red blood trickling from his eyes and nose, yet he looked strikingly handso nonetheless.

This person possessed a stunning beauty, regardless of gender.

The youth suddenly raised his head, a red beam shot out, hitting the person before him.

Imdiately, Vid felt his perspective change as if he himself had been hit.

In an instant, the surroundings changed imdiately.

The blonde youth, face bruised, carried a suitcase and looked back at the stern and cold school. Durmstrang’s castle appeared like a sword plunging into the black mountaintop.

The youth suddenly turned, carving a symbol on the wall, then strode away without hesitation.

Vid and Dumbledore followed him for a while, traversing an endless distance as if arriving at a new place.

It was a valley with brilliant sunshine and lush green adows, two youths strolling.

"... then I got expelled!"

Young Grindelwald recounted his experience, shrugging with a defiant and disdainful tone, "Stupid school! I used to think Durmstrang was more enlightened than other schools, but it turns out they’re just a bunch of timid cowards."

Beside him stood a red-haired teenager, though his features weren’t clear, yet one could still discern he was equally handso, with bright blue eyes like stars.

Vid looked up at Dumbledore beside him. The old Headmaster’s half-moon glasses reflected light, concealing any expression.

Vid had no intent to pry into the inner scars of a hundred-year-old man; he turned back to continue watching the two.

The red-haired youth listened with a smile, his gaze appearing extrely focused.

Grindelwald was expressing his views: "We wizards are those endowed with abilities, why should we hide like rats in the gutter? The Confidentiality Law is the most ridiculous law!"

"It makes us wizards feel like we’re stealing our ability, living in fear every day. Albus, your sister was hard by Muggles, what wrong did your father do avenging his daughter? But he was indiscriminately imprisoned by those fools!"

"We should fight for dominance! Wizards should rule Muggles, rule the world! Not be pushed to near extinction by the ever-increasing Muggle population! If necessary, of course, we can use force; it is the power granted to us by the heavens..."

The red-haired youth’s smile unwittingly faded, he pressed his lips together, nodding slightly, seemingly very agreeable.
