Neither in the morning nor at noon did Vid see Dumbledore. He thought Dumbledore would return to school before dinner, but during dinner, the principal’s figure was still absent from the teacher’s table.

Vid sent a ssage in the Friendship Book, but there was no reply. He started to feel worried.

Logically, four vampires could not possibly pose a threat to Dumbledore, but what if?

Those people possessed sothing that could make a werewolf transform early, and there might be other weapons.

Vid was preoccupied throughout the ti that followed until Harry found him.

On Saturday during breakfast, Harry approached Vid and whispered, "Vid, later on I want to use the Disappearing Cabinet to go to Hogsade."

The Disappearing Cabinet was housed in the Room of Requirent, and Harry knew this.

Vid had hidden many secrets there; even if he didn’t use the Room of Requirent, there was at least one House-Elf inside doing so simple tasks, ensuring the room remained "online."

This greatly reduced the chances of soone inadvertently entering, even if soone accidentally guessed the "room opening password," the House-Elf would imdiately notify Vid.

So far, this situation had not happened.

So when Harry wanted to use the Disappearing Cabinet, he needed to inform Vid first. Vid would then have the House-Elf exit the room, allowing Harry to enter the room where the Disappearing Cabinet was hidden.

"Going back?" Vid asked in surprise, then thought of sothing, his face slightly changing.

Sure enough, then Harry said worriedly:

"Remus hasn’t replied to my ssages. I asked Sirius, and their connection is also lost."

"I’m very worried... Could sothing have happened to Remus? Could it be the Ministry of Magic bothering him again?"

"Although Sirius also said he would co back to check and asked to stay put at school, I still want to go have a look..."

"Sorry..." Vid apologized, "I know what’s going on with Remus, but I forgot to tell you guys..."

Although only a day and a half had passed, Vid had used the Ti Turner several tis, making him feel that Lupin’s transformation into a werewolf was several days ago.

He was preoccupied with wondering when Dumbledore would return and completely forgot to notify Harry and Sirius.

Harry was taken aback: "... Did sothing really happen to Remus?"

"A little..." Vid glanced at the students walking around the long table and whispered, "It’s not convenient here; let’s go out after dinner and talk."

Harry nodded absentmindedly, grabbed a pie and casually stuffed it into his mouth, saying he was full.

"No, you’re not full." Hermione sternly said from not far away, "Don’t forget you still have Quidditch practice today. Practicing on an empty stomach isn’t pleasant."

It was the weekend, no need to rush to class, and Hermione could finally leisurely enjoy her breakfast.

Despite this, her book bag beside her was packed full, looking quite heavy.

Harry had no choice but to pick up the pie again and nibble on it casually.

Vid knew he was anxious inside, quickly finished his own breakfast, and the two of them left together. As soon as they reached the foyer, a student ran over, panting.

"Harry... Mr. Harry Potter!" The student looked admiringly at the young savior and said, stamring, "Professor McGonagall wants you to go to her office."

"Now?" Harry said, troubled, "I have sothing to do right now."

The younger student looked troubled as well: "But... Professor McGonagall said..."

"Go ahead, Harry." Vid said, "After that, you can find in the library. I’ll be available anyti today."

"Alright." Harry nodded and finally followed the student away.

Vid turned and headed towards the library.

In fact, he didn’t have any howork to complete—

Among the twelve subjects, in Transfiguration Class, Spell Class, and Defense Against the Dark Arts, Vid’s learning progress far exceeded his classmates, and several professors had excused him from doing howork.

The other courses, including Nurological Divination, were easy for Vid; he had mastered the vast majority of the knowledge, making howork very simple.

Magic History, Divination Class, and Muggle Studies were just where he spent ti writing assignnts. If it weren’t for the few people in each classroom, making it quickly noticeable if soone was missing, he would have thought about skipping class altogether.

To maintain possession of the Ti Turner, Vid always kept a full attendance rate just like Hermione.

Among his friends, Harry and Neville could never figure out how they managed it, although others had more or less guessed a bit.

Lately, Vid began researching ways to improve the Friendship Book.

Adding more features to a small piece of parchnt was far more difficult than applying magic to a house.

After all, its capacity was limited, and if not careful, it could easily be damaged.

Therefore, even just adding a few features significantly increased the cost, while the sale price couldn’t be dramatically increased; otherwise, consurs wouldn’t be willing to buy it.

Vid didn’t expect this parchnt to beco as multifunctional as a cell phone. Currently, he only wanted to improve the information storage capacity.

Originally, ssages in the Friendship Book would automatically disappear after a period if not viewed promptly.

While casual group chats disappearing was no big deal, losing important ssages caused significant inconvenience.

Additionally, the notification function of the Friendship Book needed changing.

For soone like Vid who didn’t enjoy chatting, he often felt the Friendship Book heat up during the day, sotis staying hot all day.

Opening it up often revealed content like House-Elves discussing the day’s work or SSC mbers planning maze tactics, assignnt focuses, and so on.

So whenever the Friendship Book heated up again, Vid hesitated—if he opened it, it might be a complete waste of ti; if he didn’t, he worried about missing out on important ssages.

He decided to improve the flaw of repetitive reminders in group chat ssages and then separate other ssages by their importance level, distinguished by different ways of alerting, with the highest level ergency ssages emitting a siren-like urgent and loud noise.

Finally, Vid planned to add an image transmission function to the Friendship Book.

Previously, the Friendship Book could only transmit hand-drawn pictures, but this ti, he intended to change it so that as long as an image was clipped between two sheets of parchnt, a few seconds later, the content would be imprinted and transmitted to the other side.

This was a feature so students in the school had publicly and privately requested Vid to add.

There was no ulterior motive; they simply wanted to copy assignnts from each other during holidays, and were displeased that they had to transcribe the work onto the Friendship Book themselves after writing it out.

Vid thought about it and felt this function wasn’t too troubleso and could also be used in the future to send photos to his parents, so he decided to add it.
