Looking at the stone archway in front of him, Kael felt a sense of familiarity.

Oh, right, the Four Founders.

Kael rembered the first ti he saw the Four Founders in the Chamber of Secrets, those serpent-like statues ford a similar archway.

The design, and the ripple-like waves inside the arch, were almost identical.

Wait, is he going to see the Four Founders again? Can the Departnt of Mysteries really do that?

As Kael’s mind wandered, he suddenly heard Diana’s voice again.

"What charm did you use to kill that Death Eater?"

"Fiendfyre Curse," Kael said instinctively.

Visibly, Diana’s mouth twitched slightly.

She took a few deep breaths, pointed her wand at the stone door, "Now, use the Fiendfyre Curse once more."

"Here?" Kael hesitated.

That’s Fiendfyre, what if it destroys this place, and this is the Ministry of Magic, is it okay to use Dark Magic directly here?

"Just use it," Diana urged.

"Alright then."

With no choice, since Diana insisted, Kael could only take out his wand, lightly wave it, and conjure a dragon made of flas.

Silent Fiendfyre Curse?

Seeing Kael’s proficient action, Diana’s expression changed once again.

It’s rare enough for soone Kael’s age to master the Fiendfyre Curse, yet he could even cast it silently.

For a mont, Diana wasn’t sure whether she should feel proud.

It’s certainly sothing to be proud of, but the Fiendfyre Curse... seems rather inappropriate.

She shook her head, directing her wand at the stone door.

Like unlocking so kind of shackle, the white glow gradually separated from the stone door and floated towards the dragon ford by the Fiendfyre Curse under Diana’s guidance.

Kael’s eyes widened.

The Fiendfyre suddenly transford from uncontrollable flas to a bouncing blue light orb.

"This is the original form of Magic Power," Diana explained.

Kael was seeing this for the first ti and felt a surge of curiosity.

At this mont, he suddenly noticed that the blue light orb seed to have sothing additional, or rather, the color there was deeper.

Though as thin as a hair, upon closer inspection it was noticeable.

Just as Kael couldn’t resist stepping forward for a closer look, another stream of white light surged over, gently encircling the blue Magic Power like a flow of water, cleansing away the attached specks.

"It’s done," Diana said, waving her wand again, the surrounding white light retreated back into the stone door.

Simultaneously, the mass of Magic Power returned to a flawless and gleaming blue.

But before Kael could examine it closely, golden-red flas ignited atop it.

"Finite Incantatem!"

Diana casually waved her hand, extinguishing the Fiendfyre.

"What was that?" Kael couldn’t help but ask.

"Blood Debt," Diana said calmly. "When a wizard ends another wizard’s life, their Magic Power undergoes so transformation, which is why I knew you killed a Death Eater."

"Is that really possible?" Kael frowned, "Why haven’t I ever heard of this before?"

"Because they don’t teach you that in school, it’s not sothing you’re ant to encounter. Much like how they wouldn’t teach you the Unforgivable Curses."

"Is this akin to a soul?"

"No, it has nothing to do with souls, just a transformation in one’s Magic Power."

Diana put away her wand and said, "Magic Power changes according to a wizard’s inner thoughts, when you end another wizard’s life, unavoidable malice arises within, and part of the Magic Power transforms to a state more suited to that malice."

Kael nodded, seemingly understanding Diana’s explanation, reminiscent of how at school, he liked eating fried pork chops, so every ti he went to the kitchen, the house-elves would make fried pork chops for him.

But one day, he glanced at the bread, though just a glance, among over a hundred house-elves, so noticed.

They might believe he suddenly liked bread, so the next ti he visited the kitchen, those few house-elves would serve him bread.

"Many wizards seek this," Diana spoke softly. "It can make magic beco more explosive, greatly enhancing certain spells,"

"Such as the Crucio Curse and the Killing Curse... especially the latter, Blood Debt can make the Killing Curse exceedingly strong.

"But what they don’t know is, while the inner self can affect the Magic Power, the Magic Power can influence the inner self, frequent use of overly explosive Magic Power can make one increasingly irritable.

"This is why most Dark Wizard’s personalities are eccentric and why they grow ever more addicted to Dark Magic."

"In that case..." Kael touched his chin, "does it an if you can restrain yourself from using Dark Magic, Blood Debt won’t take effect?"

Back to the elves and kitchen scenario, faced with ninety-eight servings of fried pork chops, he can simply ignore the two servings of bread.

"Yes, it is indeed like that." Diana nodded, "But even if it has no impact, it’s still not a good thing."

"That makes sense," Kael nodded.

He couldn’t help but look at the stone door, inside it remained the sa, seemingly unchanged.

"What’s inside?"

"An equally unknown path," Diana said, "but we can’t enter, it repels all conscious entities, including ghosts and portraits."

Curiously, Kael walked two steps closer to the stone door, seeing Diana didn’t stop him, he put his hand boldly towards the stone door.

Then his hand ca through the other side.

"Truly amazing," Kael murmured, "Is this the work of the Departnt of Mysteries?"

"Just one of the jobs," Diana said, pointing her wand at the stone door, lightly raising it. Inside, waves rippled with colorful halos flowing; Kael saw blue, red, orange... srizing.

But soon, the stone door reverted to calm.

"There are three such stone doors in the Departnt of Mysteries, representing life, magic, and ti."

Diana continued, "What you’re seeing now is the primal form of Magic Power.

"Rember what Olivander said? The wand chooses the wizard. In truth, it’s choosing the magic power, except each person’s magic power is different."

Kael found it hard to describe his feelings now, it was his first close encounter with the Departnt of Mysteries, truly, quite mysterious.

"Alright, it’s ti."

As Kael was stunned, Diana suddenly said, "We should head back."

Kael nodded and followed Diana off the stone platform.

They passed through the foggy room again, and the room with a giant water tank.

"Is there no one guarding this place?" Kael couldn’t help but ask, "It seems we haven’t encountered anyone."

"No need for guards," Diana said, "Usually, even if Voldemort breaks in, he’ll only wander in the foyer, never reaching here."

"What if soone does reach here?" Kael pondered, "I an, accidentally wanders in."

"Then it only proves he was ant to be here," Diana said softly, "We naturally have no need to stop him."

The two passed through doors like a maze, arriving at the corridor outside the Departnt of Mysteries.

At this point, Chris was standing by the elevator not far away, waiting for them.
