Because of the heavy workload, sothing interesting happened during this year’s Easter holiday... Not a single student decided to go ho. The Hogwarts Express waited at the platform all morning but didn’t pick anyone up; everyone unanimously chose to stay at the school.
This hasn’t happened in previous years.
The library beca the hottest spot, with every seat filled before eight in the morning. If you arrived late, you could only take borrowed reference books and find another place to write your assignnts.
But doing that is not quite convenient.
After all, the assignnts given by the professors not only are nurous but also cover various knowledge points, so one or two reference books are certainly not sufficient. Sotis, halfway through writing, they’d have to return to the library to borrow more books.
Consequently, so people began waking up earlier and earlier, especially fifth and seventh-year students, who even started waiting at the library door at six.
A holiday turned out to be more exhausting than attending classes.
"Crazy... The entire Hogwarts has gone crazy."
Early that morning, Mikel and Ryan were complaining while putting on their robes in the dormitory.
"We now have to wake up an hour earlier just to barely find a spot in the library. I’ve never woken up this early before..."
Mikel said irritably, looking at Kael, who had just sat up from bed, "Why aren’t you dressed yet? Forget it. Should I save you a spot... if there’s still a vacancy in the library?"
"No need, you go ahead." Kael waved his hand, "I’ve just applied for an internship from the Ministry of Magic, so I don’t have to do the assignnts anymore."
Just as he was about to leave, Mikel froze and turned his head stiffly.
"What did you say?" His voice was high-pitched and sharp, sounding like a goose with its neck squeezed, "No assignnts... the professors agreed?"
"Yeah, most professors agreed." Kael stretched lazily, "This is official business. Even the Minister agreed; the professors have no reason to refuse."
For a mont, Mikel and Ryan felt their stomachs filled with lemons, so sour that their expressions twisted.
"Working at the Ministry of Magic is really impressive..." a sour voice said.
"Though I’m not particularly fond of this job, I must admit that at tis, this identity is quite useful." Kael said with a smile, "Cheer up, soday you can do it too."
"Ha!" Mikel snorted derisively; then, without even glancing at Kael, turned and walked away.
Kael could skip assignnts, but they couldn’t. Hesitate any longer and there’d be no space left in the library.
After they left, the dormitory suddenly beca quiet.
When Kael leisurely arrived at the common room, he found that it was also filled with people doing assignnts.
Every armchair was occupied, and the tables that used to hold various snacks and desserts were now replaced with stacks of books and parchnt.
Kael sensibly refrained from boasting about not needing to do assignnts and discreetly left the common room.
The auditorium was equally crowded; it was the most popular spot besides the library and common room.
Here, students can start their assignnts directly after eating without having to make another trip. Plus, with so many people around, they could borrow each other’s reference books.
This made the auditorium chaotic and extrely lively,
After having a few fried egg and ham sandwiches, Kael left the auditorium and headed to the grounds outside.
Conna and Cedric didn’t have ti, and Kael didn’t want others to notice how idle he was, so he decided to visit Hagrid.
Not having t for so ti, Hagrid’s injuries had mostly healed, with only faint traces visible.
"What brings you here?" He seed quite pleased, setting aside the wood in his hands, and asked with a smile, "Have I congratulated you yet on joining the Ministry of Magic?"
"Let’s not talk about that." Kael rubbed his forehead, "What are you doing?"
"I’m preparing to make a bowl." Hagrid said.
"A bowl?" Kael thought he misheard, subconsciously glancing again at the wood Hagrid had placed beside him... the center was indeed hollowed out, but to conclude, if this thing were any larger, it could be used for first-year students to take a bath in.
This is a bowl?
"Oh no, I misspoke..." Hagrid quickly corrected himself, "I ant to say, I’m preparing to make a wooden barrel... uh... to feed the Thestrals. The previous one was bitten apart."
Seeing Hagrid’s guilty expression, Kael instantly realized, confidently stating:
"This isn’t for the Thestrals, but for the giant you hid in the Forbidden Forest, right?"
"Alright." Seeing Kael say this, Hagrid stopped trying to hide it, "I’ve recently been teaching Grawp how to eat properly, but the progress isn’t ideal. He seems to prefer holding the food in his hands... Oh, Grawp is his na."
"I don’t think it’s necessary, Hagrid." Kael said, "Even if giants wrap food in a layer of mud, they won’t get an upset stomach.
"Moreover, given their intelligence, it’s also tough to understand what utensils are, right? Why go to such lengths?"
"No, I need to teach him so manners." Hagrid shook his head, firmly stating, "That way, I can take him out and show everyone he’s not dangerous."
