The working principles behind most magical artifacts are not inherently difficult to understand. Wizard Chess is rely a series of Transfiguration charms; Ever-Burning Tapers are just sustained Wand-Lighting Charms. The true difficulty lies in the complexity of the crafting process and the materials required.

Entering another person's mory is traditionally a ti-consuming affair. The last ti Sean had delved into Professor Dumbledore's past to view just a few vignettes, it had taken an entire day. Yet now, despite having his mind gorged on a millennium's worth of data, Sean had only been unconscious for two hours. It was, to put it mildly, very magical.

As for how Rowena Ravenclaw had found a dium capable of preserving such a vast ntal imprint for twelve centuries, Sean had no idea.

The scroll had vanished into thin air.

[Alert: Complete...]

The system notifications chid three tis in rapid succession, leaving Sean montarily dazed.

[Your talent for Charms has been elevated.]

[Na: Sean Green]

[Charms Talent: Light Purple (Epic) (Adept title active)]

(Note: Average wizards are Green)

[Evaluation: You possess a rare and magnificent talent for Charms. With study, you will beco a true Master of the craft.]

Talent elevated?

Sean was surprised, but he quickly understood the logic. He raised his hand, intending to cast a simple Scourgify on his robes, which were stained with a few drops of pumpkin juice. In that mont, a wave of familiar muscle mory washed over him. It was as if he had beco Rowena Ravenclaw herself, echoing the precise ntal intent and fluid movents she had perfected centuries ago.

[Alert: You have practiced the Scouring Charm at a Master standard. Proficiency 300]

As the stain vanished from the fabric, Sean's eyes fell upon his wand, which was still resting on the table beside him.

Wait...

He stared at the clean hem of his robes, his mind racing. That was... wandless magic?

Wandless casting was a technique reserved for only the most powerful and experienced wizards. Dumbledore and Voldemort were famous for it; Professor Terra was another practitioner. While ancient wizards used it almost exclusively, the practice had nearly vanished in Britain following the mass production of wands in the twentieth century.

As he reflected, more fragnts of the Legacy Scroll beca clear in his mind.

"Magic..." Sean whispered, reciting a thought from Rowena's own mory regarding the ancient ways. "It is the na wizards give to the power of a fulfilled wish. A firm conviction is its banner; knowledge and wisdom are its wings. Beyond these, there are no shackles."

The more he delved into the mories, the more his head began to throb. After a few seconds, the world went black again, and he slumped forward onto the desk.

When he finally blinked his eyes open, he found the Owl Gentleman staring at him with his wide, golden eyes.

"Be satisfied! Be satisfied! Greedy little wizard! Gluttonous wizard!" Rav chirped.

Sean realized that utilizing such a massive ntal payload ca with a heavy cost—at least in terms of ntal stamina. He waited until the dizziness subsided before allowing himself a mont of genuine triumph.

He had inherited the wisdom of Ravenclaw—an archive of knowledge and an enhanced magical intuition. His Charms talent had jumped to the Epic tier, and he had inadvertently unlocked the path to wandless casting.

He opened his system panel to review his current potential:

[Sean Green's Talent Overview]

Potions: Blue (Elite)

Herbology: Blue (Elite)

Magical Creatures: Light Purple (Epic)

Charms: Light Purple (Epic)

Transfiguration: Purple (Epic)

Dark Arts: Gold (Legendary)

Alchemy: Gold (Legendary)

Two Legendary talents, three Epic, and two Elite. He was, quite literally, a wizard for the ages.

He looked up at the window. The sun was fully up, and the morning owls were finishing their rounds, disappearing into the distance. Sean felt like he was forgetting sothing important, but the clutter of new mories made it hard to focus.

At that exact mont, in the hospital wing, Madam Pomfrey looked at Sean's empty bed and let out a shriek that rattled the dicine cabinets.

It had rained during the night at Hogwarts, but the morning was clear and a fresh, crisp grey. The wet grass was springy underfoot as Sean made his way toward the Forbidden Forest. Hagrid had entrusted the woods to him, and he took the responsibility seriously.

However, disaster struck almost imdiately. When Snowy spotted the "new" owl (Rav) perched on Sean's shoulder, she let out an indignant shriek and promptly transfigured into a massive fire dragon.

The Owl Gentleman shrieked in terror and took flight, darting into the trees. It took Sean several minutes of frantic soothing and a handful of biscuits before a huffy, jealous Snowy reverted to her original form.

Sean continued through the woods, still trying to organize the "Ancient Magic" he had inherited. These spells possessed power beyond anything he had imagined, but the difficulty was staggering. When he had attempted a minor spell to uproot a dead tree earlier, he had nearly fainted from the magical drain. Rowena's mory gave him the "how," but it didn't give him the "mana" to spare.

The spells he found in his mind were all of a similar scale: moving mountains to crush giants, summoning localized lightning to fell dragons... For most of Sean's daily needs, an Expelliarmus was more than enough.

As for the more profound Ancient Magic, those mories remained blurred. It seed they required a higher level of personal power to "unlock," or perhaps specific environntal triggers—much like the Scourgify earlier.

As he re-entered the castle, he saw groups of students hurrying past, looking frantic and calling out to one another. He ignored the commotion and headed toward the Transfiguration office, intending to finally deliver the Magic Hand Mirrors.

Halfway there, he ran headlong into Professor Snape.

The Potions Master looked like a man possessed. His eyes were bloodshot, and he was scanning every shadow of the corridor with a lethal intensity.

"Professor Snape," Sean said.

"SEAN GREEN!"

Snape let out a roar that made the portraits jump. He lunged forward and hoisted Sean up by the front of his robes.

Sean, bewildered, felt himself being lifted off the ground. Instinct took over. He focused his will, and a second later, the boy Snape was holding vanished. A black Kneazle leaped from the empty robes and perched on a nearby window ledge.

"You dare...!" Snape hissed, looking like he was one heartbeat away from a total ltdown.

The cat watched him, confused, until he saw Professor McGonagall sprinting down the hall toward them.

"Sean Green!" she cried. She looked caught between sheer terror and a towering rage.

"Oh, I suspect this is rely another 'minor accident'."

The cat looked behind her to see Professor Dumbledore strolling into view. The Headmaster looked at the cat and gave a playful, subtle wink.

"Albus, have you quite finished with your administrative duties?" McGonagall asked, her voice dangerously low.

"Dumbledore, I told you," Snape snarled, his eyes never leaving the cat on the ledge. "I was responsible for him!"
