Ian did not cancel the spell. Instead, he cast flas into the sky, lighting up the darkness all around. Apart from startling a few birds into flight, however, the fire revealed nothing.

The woman had truly disappeared. She hadn't used an invisibility spell; she had left this space entirely. Her disappearance was as abrupt and inexplicable as her arrival.

"So cool- Fiendfyre!"

Young Morgan stared at the blaze in the night sky as it flared and then died away. She paid no mind to the wizard Ian had seen.

All she cared about was how dazzling the magic was. Of course she recognized Fiendfyre! Thanks to Ian's battle with rlin that afternoon, she knew the na of that terrifying fire.

"This makes no sense."

Ian's gaze lingered on the firelit sky.

His heart was full of doubt.

He couldn't understand why the woman appeared, why she vanished, or why only he could see her. Who exactly was that woman in the shadows?

Young Morgan could miss her, but even the Big Bad Wolf from the Soul Hall hadn't been able to see or sense her. That was truly unreasonable.

One thing was certain: Ian would never mistake what he saw.

She was a soul, and her shadows were the sa kind as the Big Bad Wolf's. Saying she wasn't from the Soul Hall would be too much of a coincidence, yet saying she was was equally hard to make sense of.

"Eternal Lord, what exactly is out there?" The Big Bad Wolf kept asking. After seeing Ian cast magic, his curiosity only deepened. What exactly had Ian seen?

"I'll have to browse through your mories later." Ian replied obliquely. The wolf offered no resistance, though. It stuck out its tongue and nodded eagerly inside the bottle without a second thought.

For a magical creature with such a peculiar soul, drawing close to a god was a once-in-a-lifeti chance. Since childhood, it had heard tales of lucky magical creatures taken in as pets by gods. Even fairy-tale figures had their own well-known legends passed among them.

"Teacher, help ."

At that mont, Young Morgan was trying to climb inside again. She called for Ian's assistance, and this ti, he reached out and pulled her in.

To Ian, with his legendary constitution, Young Morgan's body was as light as a feather. With hardly any effort, he pulled her into the room.

"It's still warr inside." As soon as she landed, Young Morgan dusted off her dress and hurried toward the Mirror of Erised, which had caught her attention.

She circled the great mirror in the center of the room, her fingers brushing lightly against the fra. Her eyes were full of curiosity for this alchemical artifact.

Ian also glanced at the mirror, but his eyes were filled with helplessness.

He still hadn't figured out what lay within the hidden space of the mirror, nor had he managed to locate it. Perhaps Albus Dumbledore might have a solution.

After all, the old headmaster had once used the Mirror of Erised to hide the Philosopher's Stone. But who knew if he had ever truly understood what the mirror was hiding?

As the young wizard pondered returning to Hogwarts to consult the headmaster--

"What does it do?" Young Morgan asked again.

Though she asked the question as if seeking her teacher's wisdom, she had already slipped to the front of the mirror. Standing before it, she imdiately sensed its special magic.

But the mont she looked at her own reflection, Young Morgan froze.

Ian noticed and his heart stirred. For the ti being, he pushed aside thoughts of the mysterious woman.

"What do you see in the mirror?" Ian asked quietly.

He had long been curious about the desires of this future legendary dark witch. Back in the Twilight Zone, Morgan's future self had never told him the truth.

Now was the perfect opportunity to find out. He wanted to discover what truly drove this young Morgan, what her ambitions and longings were. At her age, she surely had no reason to conceal them.

However, Ian wasn't entirely sure. After all, pretty won were considered bad from childhood, and they never told the truth. Even Zhang Wuji's mother said as much in Jin Yong's novels.

Feeling Ian's gaze, Young Morgan stared intently into the Mirror of Erised. After a while, she spoke: "I see myself using magic to reshape this world!"

Indeed, it was an ambitious plan that sounded wicked.

It was the kind of vision one would expect from a dark witch.

"What kind of world?" Ian raised an eyebrow, continuing to prod her. He wondered if Morgan, like Grindelwald, wanted to create a world for wizards only.

In response to his question, Young Morgan had no guard at all.

"It's a world where n and won can have children by themselves and as many as they want." Her childish voice sounded innocent, like a child's.

And yet, hearing such an answer, Ian wasn't sure if Young Morgan was spouting nonsense. He sensed her emotions and found them normal. Still, he suspected that, like himself, she wasn't telling the whole truth.

Otherwise, such a fantastical desire and dream felt even more absurd than "making the world feel pain"!

"Litters"? What kind of wording is that?

Ian was at a loss for words.

Young Morgan, however, seed utterly absorbed in what she saw in the Mirror of Erised.

"I see myself standing in a radiant place. People are cheering all around . n and won are kneeling before , thanking for transforming the world."

She continued describing the scene she was witnessing, without reservation.

But her words left Ian more speechless than ever. The Mirror of Erised reveals one's deepest desires. Could Young Morgan's heart truly long for such a bizarre world?

This was ridiculous!

"The things in the mirror are illusions. Don't get too imrsed in false visions. It's easy to lose yourself that way," Ian repeated Dumbledore's old warning. Ian repeated Dumbledore's old warning to Young Morgan.

"Yes, I understand, teacher."

Young Morgan nodded, though her eyes never left the mirror.

"I just want to see the whole story."

She explained to Ian why she couldn't pull herself away.

"Those people are praising , and now soone is stepping forward." Unfamiliar with the sensation of "watching television," Young Morgan described her vision with childlike wonder.

"That person knelt before and offered his gift...huh?" Young Morgan's narration suddenly broke off. The next mont, she instinctively reached out her hand.

Then, under Ian's astonished gaze, a heavy box appeared out of thin air and fell into Young Morgan's hands. The sight left Ian dumbfounded, he even felt a strange sense of déjà vu.

A scene just like this… had appeared in the story of Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone.

Those who craved the treasure could never obtain it, no matter how hard they tried. But the unintentional, fated one could receive the mirror's gift effortlessly.

Wasn't that exactly what had just happened with Ian and Morgan?

"Damn it!"

Ian slapped his forehead.

"I've beco Voldemort!"

His tone was full of stifled frustration.
