The mont Ian's consciousness transford into that of a Raven, his entire perception of the world changed completely. As his Animagus transformation finished…

In the next instant…

For so unknown reason, the lead-gray clouds above the Sky City began to churn violently, cloaking the massive fortress suspended ten thousand ters above ground in an eerie shadow. It had to be said that this had never happened before when Ian had used his Animagus form previously.

In the past, Ian had also transford into his Animagus form while on Earth, but not once had the sky darkened or clouds gathered like this.

So what was the difference this ti..

Perhaps it was tied to Ian's overwhelming fury toward the black-robed wizards of Sky City… or perhaps it had sothing to do with the "worldly laws" of this particular space-ti he now inhabited.

After all, the chaotic Gods had yet to be born.

Ian's Raven form seed like the first and the only being to transcend its limits. For such a body to trigger heavenly phenona was only natural.

Of course, Ian's rage was so intense that it genuinely influenced his surroundings. Compared to the tis he had taken his Animagus form before, his Raven body now radiated faint black mist from its feathers.

The mist swirled around him as he flew, leaving behind streaks of shadow that crisscrossed through the air like a web. Only after a long ti did the torn space slowly nd itself.

"Here it cos! It's here!"

The pitch-black Raven that Ian had beco beat its wings and soared high. Inside the steel fortress, the black-robed wizards completely panicked. They pointed toward the sky in terror, chanting obscure spells in despair.

"It's entered the second stage!"

"Hurry! Stop it! Don't let it get close!"

The clouds surged, and countless tal beasts sward forward under the wizards' control. When their wings spread, they blotted out the sun; their claws tore through the air like ancient war machines awakening from slumber. Each was shaped differently, so with griffin wings and serpent bodies, others humanoid constructs with three heads and six arms.

"Attack!" One black-robed wizard roared.

Dozens of tal beasts lunged toward Ian, fangs gnashing and claws swinging, desperate to tear the intruder apart. The deafening roar of their chanical engines echoed like the awakening of prival monsters as they dove down toward him.

To this…

Ian only sneered. "Pathetic, machines are weak, flesh is eternal."

Without fear, his ink-black wings flared violently, and his enormous body shot forth like a falling teor.

Then…

The tal beasts charged with thunderous fury, their claws and fangs glinting coldly, ready to shred him to pieces. Ian didn't evade. His dark wings sliced through the air, whistling sharply and in the next instant, a thunderous boom resounded as tal clashed with tal, the shock echoing across the sky.

"Boom!"

The first tal dragon collided with him head-on…

Yet…

Upon impact…

The tallic monster's body shattered.

It wasn't knocked away or pushed back, it simply disintegrated on contact, like fragile glass crushed to dust. Its thick armor broke apart like paper; its core reactor exploded in a blaze of crimson light that lit up the heavens.

Before the second could react, Ian swept past it midair, his sharp beak tore open its spine, snapping its tallic fra as the whole body plumted from the sky. The third, the fourth… more and more tal beasts were crushed in Ian's onslaught, their forms collapsing like fragile illusions.

Anything that touched the Raven's shadow turned instantly to wreckage, scattered by the wind.

Ian didn't even feel any resistance, he felt as if what he struck wasn't solid steel, but decaying, rotted wood. Before his Raven form, these massive constructs were pathetically fragile.

"What…?!"

Even Ian himself was stunned.

He had always known that his Animagus form was incredibly durable, yet he had never imagined… that these tal beasts would be so utterly powerless before him. Ian truly hadn't expected that they couldn't even withstand a single impact from his body. They weren't rely shattered, they disintegrated upon touch!

It was as if their very existence simply couldn't stand against Ian. The tal beasts were like tofu, and this didn't seem to be a matter of re physical strength, it felt as though so deeper power was unmaking them.

No matter what material they were constructed from…

The instant they made contact with Ian, with the Raven's body that he had beco, it was as if they had already reached their mont of annihilation in that single heartbeat.

"Boom! Boom! Boom!"

Though Ian himself was stunned, he didn't slow down. He kept charging forward, and wherever he passed, the tal beasts crumbled apart, as though dissolved by so unseen force.

It was a one-sided battle.

The black silhouette tore through the raging storm of steel, scattering fragnts in his wake. Shards of tal rained down like a torrential downpour, bursting into silver fireworks amidst the clouds beneath Sky City.

There was no suspense.

The tal beasts couldn't harm Ian in the slightest, while Ian destroyed them effortlessly. This was a battle dood to end in destruction, no matter how they struggled, their only fate was annihilation.

Seeing this…

The wizards of the steel city were thrown into chaos. Their carefully crafted guardians were falling like dead leaves, utterly failing to serve the purpose they were ant for.

Yes…

The birth and creation of these tal beasts had been for this very purpose, a defense they had designed in preparation for so imagined calamity. And yet, in the mont they were needed most, they failed completely.

"Failed again! Failed again!"

"Even this can't stop it?!"

"Damn it! How can it be this strong?! This isn't even magic! "

So tried to issue more commands, others attempted to summon new constructs but most were beginning to realize the truth: this battle had already been lost.

Of course…

They still had to fight.

Perhaps they hadn't yet understood that Ian bore them no malice. They had been the ones to strike first, driven by so inexplicable hostility toward him.

A difference in language…

Sotis that's all it takes. Still, their deep-rooted hostility toward Ian, toward his Raven form, might have stemd from so past experience involving a Raven.

But Ian had no way of knowing this. He hadn't even managed to communicate with these black-robed wizards, he had simply been attacked the mont they saw him, treated like so ultimate boss monster.

"Gibberish, Gibberish…"

Their ancient incantations grew more rapid and frantic, and more tal beasts broke free from the city's surface to intercept Ian. Yet no matter how many ca, the outco was always the sa, they crumbled upon contact.

Ian's Raven form streaked through the sky like a bolt of black lightning, darting and weaving freely through the sky. Wherever he passed, the tal beasts disintegrated into fragnts, cascading toward the ground below.

Before long, the once-dense swarm of chanical monsters had thinned drastically, unable to mount any effective defense.

Of course, more constructs continued to detach from Sky City's main structure to replenish the losses but their numbers were finite. They only managed to delay their inevitable extinction.

"Damn it! The guardian beasts are completely exhausted!"

On the high platform of Sky City, the black-robed wizards were in total disarray. At last, they all realized that they had been defeated.

"Joint spellcasting! Use that magic -- activate the Annihilation Flood! "

The lead wizard bellowed the command, and all the others raised their hands in unison, chanting ancient incantations.

A cataclysmic magic, one that could shatter heaven and earth began to take form. This was a spell that surpassed anything any legendary wizard could ever cast.

It was an imnsely terrifying hybrid magic…

Not one that relied solely on the magical power of these ancient wizards, but one that also drew upon the vast energy accumulated within this miraculous floating city itself. Any legendary wizard who witnessed it would once again be reminded of their own insignificance before such power.

This was a might beyond legend.

In an instant, every magic array within Sky City blazed with blinding light. Countless beams of different-colored energy shot into the sky, converging into a colossal magical vortex. Heaven and earth changed color, fierce winds howled, thunder rumbled and it was as if the world itself trembled before the spell about to descend.

Then…

Brilliant torrents of magic power erupted from the wizards' wands, converging into a single, twisting pillar of light that pierced the sky. Blazing fire, biting frost, raging lightning, and corrosive poison mist all intertwined, fusing into a flood of world-ending energy.

This wasn't just one kind of magic…

It was the fusion of all elental forces, one of the most powerful forbidden spells in this world. Violent energies rged and surged forward, carrying destructive might as they hurtled straight toward Ian!

That light was fierce enough to vaporize mountains, tear the earth asunder, it was magic so terrifying that it could annihilate an entire nation. Wherever it passed, the air warped, the clouds split apart, even the distant sun's light was dimd.

Yet facing this apocalyptic assault, Ian didn't evade. He simply spread his wings wide and dove straight into the magical vortex.

He, just, flew right in.

The raging beams of energy wove together into a berserk net of destruction - lightning, fla, water, storm - countless magical elents raging in chaos. Dazzling radiance swallowed Ian's form as the violent shockwaves swept in all directions. Even the earth far below began to lt, a testant to the devastating power unleashed in the sky above.

But still…

In the end, it was only magic.

Ian chuckled. "That's more like it. In a world ruled by magic… obviously, I'd max out magic resistance."

Thanks to certain fragnts of information, he already knew that this Animagus form was deeply and intrinsically connected to himself. Thinking as he would, he realized that if he had designed this form, then of course he'd make sure it possessed absolute magic resistance first.

And reality proved him right.

Facing the torrential surge of destructive spells…

In Ian's scarlet eyes, it was nothing. He couldn't even feel danger. That magic could not harm him in the slightest. Within the storming energy, the Raven's feathers shimred with a faint, dark glow, wordlessly declaring his form's absolute immunity to magic.

As the overwhelming power finally faded…

"It's rely the gathering of energy," Ian said quietly. "This isn't the true path a wizard should walk."

He still soared calmly through the sky, completely unhard. His feathers glead with a cold light under the sun, as though that world-shattering spell had been nothing more than a passing breeze.

The black-robed wizards stared at one another, seeing the terror spreading through their eyes and hearts. Their so-called ultimate spell had proven utterly useless against the Raven. And now, Ian had fixed his gaze on them, his eyes locking onto Sky City's defenses.

He streaked forward like a bolt of black lightning.

The energy shield surrounding Sky City didn't look nearly as solid as before.

When they first spotted Ian, a translucent barrier had already enveloped the city, glowing with a faint blue radiance like a layer of liquid crystal. This was the black-robed wizards' final line of defense.

They were well aware of that.

Abandoning their offensive magic, they poured all their remaining magic power into reinforcing the protective shield, desperately trying to hold Ian back.

"Quick! Reinforce the barrier!" One wizard scread, waving both hands frantically as he poured energy into the shield to stabilize it.

The others joined in, forming a ring around a central altar. They chanted ancient incantations in unison, while their wand tips flared with blinding light.

The energy shield thickened violently, with ripples spreading across its surface as if struggling to resist the impact that is about to strike. Ian was already closing in. His wings suddenly folded tight against his body, his form beca a jet-black arrow, whistling through the air as he slamd straight into the barrier.

A deafening explosion shook the surroundings and the shield warped violently…

It looked as though it might collapse at any mon, but it sohow held together, barely maintaining its shape.

"We held it! It worked! This thod works! It can't stay in the mortal realm for long! As long as we hold out until it returns, we'll only have to deal with it again in another thousand years!"

One of the wizards shouted breathlessly with a flicker of hope flashing across his face.

Except… For the single fact that his incomprehensible speech sounded like gibberish to Ian, making it impossible for him to explain that their understanding of him was completely mistaken.

In truth, Ian wanted nothing more than to return to his own world.

But he couldn't.

Without figuring out what was going on from these black-robed wizards, he might end up trapped here until he died. There was no way around it, Ian had to take this city.

If diplomacy failed, then he would use force.

After all, Dumbledore was his professor.

And Grindelwald? No less so.

This was only the beginning.

After his first strike, Ian didn't stop. He spun midair, diving down again, slamming into the sa spot with the sa unstoppable montum.

"Boom!"

This ti, the shield let out a piercing wail. Cracks appeared, spreading like spiderwebs across its surface. The black-robed wizards frantically poured their magic power into nding it, but their efforts were futile.

When Ian's third strike ca crashing down, a thunderous crack echoed through the sky.

The protective barrier shattered.

And not just shattered, it burst apart into countless points of light that scattered into the air.

Ian's Raven form streaked forward like a black shooting star, plunging straight into the heart of the steel city.

"It's over… our city is facing its end! The mad Raven will take us all with it!" An elderly wizard who clearly knew more than the others murmured to himself.

His face was deathly pale.

"Run, Zeus! We have to go… go!"

Soone grabbed the old wizard and fled in panic. The rest of the black-robed wizards scattered in every direction.

Sky City descended into total chaos.

Even their combined magic hadn't been able to kill Ian, and none of them believed that fighting alone could possibly affect this jet-black Raven.

There was only one choice left... Run.

So even leapt off the city, flying toward the ground below.

Ian, however, didn't chase them. Instead, he circled once through the air, locking onto a single fleeing figure, a woman who lagged behind the others.

She was clutching a baby tightly in her arms.

That was why she was running so slowly.

"Don't be afraid. I won't hurt you… I just need to understand what's going on here," Ian said as he dove down, his form shifting back into that of a teenage boy. His face should have looked bright and youthful under the sunlight.

But…

"Don't kill ! Don't kill !" the woman scread in terror, clutching the baby close. Yet the infant showed no fear at all… he laughed, reaching out with tiny hands as if trying to grab Ian's wand.

"Hm?" Ian froze.

Because—

In the baby's hand, he saw… sunlight. Yes, a strand of golden sunlight was condensed there, like a miniature sun glowing softly in the infant's palm.

"She's the daughter of the Sun God?!"

A strange, overwhelming sense of familiarity flooded through Ian.

At that mont—

He could only marvel at how mysterious fate could be.
