With the aid of ancient magic, directly extracting the negative emotions of the Obscurus was actually simple.

But… under so many watchful eyes, he still needed to put on a performance, because the extraction process might look sowhat "dark."

An idea quickly ford in Wade Reynolds' mind.

"We need to move him outside first," Wade said.

So everyone exited the stone house, and Wade used a Levitation Charm to move Aurelius out, bringing him to the open space outside.

Wade looked at Aurelius floating before him and did not delay any further, pressing the tip of his wand against Aurelius' forehead.

A blue-silver glow, visible only to Wade, flickered, and then a mass of reddish-brown mist was drawn out from Aurelius' forehead.

However, the mist seed to have taken root. Although Wade had extracted a portion of it, most of it still appeared to remain within Aurelius' body.

"Ah…" Aurelius, who had been unconscious, suddenly opened his eyes and let out a cry of agony.

Aberforth's body trembled. "Is that the Obscurus? Is Wade forcibly separating the Obscurus?"

"Calm down, Aberforth. That is not the Obscurus…" Dumbledore frowned. "…That is sothing else. Sothing very dangerous…"

Dumbledore felt that this thing looked strangely familiar, seeming very similar to the kind of magical power Grindelwald had tried to seize in the Hogwarts underground back then.

If it was that kind of power… ancient magic… mysterious magical power…

Connecting it with what had happened before, Dumbledore suddenly understood many things.

Of course, even now, he still did not suspect Wade of being the source of these mysterious powers.

Because before Wade, there had already been two known bearers of ancient magic talent at Hogwarts.

The senior student was one, and before her, Professor Morganach, who had once used students as experintal subjects, was another.

In Dumbledore's view, the magical power in the Chamber should have been left behind by Professor Morganach.

After all, that chamber had originally been left behind by Professor Morganach and had been sealed for many years, only to be blasted open recently by Grindelwald and his followers.

At the sa ti, a figure deep within the distant forest widened their eyes the mont they saw the "residue" Wade had extracted.

"Co out!"

At this mont, Wade had already forcibly dragged out two-thirds of that "residue."

anwhile, Aurelius' screams had not stopped, causing everyone present to feel their hearts tighten.

Suddenly, it was as if Wade's strength had failed him, and that "residue" abruptly shrank back into Aurelius' body by a third.

This made everyone's hearts skip a beat.

At first, Wade had indeed been acting to so extent, intending to extract the residue directly and store it in the goblin-tal container he carried with him.

But later, he discovered that the negative emotions of the Obscurus were extraordinarily stubborn. Even after exerting great force, they still refused to co out.

Clearly, compared to the cold goblin-tal container in Wade's hand, the negative emotions of the Obscurus preferred to remain within Aurelius' body.

Seeing that the residue was about to transform back into negative emotions and return to Aurelius' body,

Wade made a decisive choice. He put away the goblin-tal container and instead began drawing the residue into his own body.

Absorb it first. Extracting it from his own body later was still better than only being able to see it without being able to take it.

Sure enough, when facing Wade, whose magic was powerful, the residue showed far more enthusiasm than it had toward the tal container.

Wade felt a sudden release in his hand, and the resistance of the negative emotions within Aurelius' body weakened significantly.

Under the influence of ancient magic, they transford into "residue" one after another and began surging into Wade's body.

Clearly, for this kind of magical power, the physical body of soone with ancient magic talent was more attractive than any other place.

At this mont, the scene beca extrely eerie. Aurelius was screaming in agony, while Wade looked like an evil dark wizard, frantically absorbing Aurelius' magic.

If the others had not known that Wade was treating him, they might have thought he was plundering Aurelius' magic.

At last, all the negative emotions transford into "residue" and flowed into Wade's body.

In that instant, Wade felt a surge of bloodthirsty, violent emotion rise fiercely from the depths of his heart.

"Tsk… this is intense," Wade thought with alarm.

However, Wade had prepared himself ntally and had always felt instinctive resistance toward unpurified "residue."

So in the end, this massive amount of "residue" failed to rge smoothly with Wade.

He only passively absorbed a small portion of it. As for the rest, it could only wander restlessly inside his body.

As ntioned earlier, the impact of unpurified "residue" on the host depends on the amount absorbed.

So although Wade was affected by the negative emotions within the "residue" and developed violent impulses, he was still barely able to keep them under control.

At this mont, the Obscurus within Aurelius had lost all negative emotions and, like Nagini's beast soul, officially lost its core instinctive consciousness.

Aurelius' screams disappeared, and he himself woke up almost imdiately.

The Levitation Charm failed, and Aurelius fell from midair.

Aberforth hurriedly raised his wand and caught him.

"This…" Aurelius stared at his own body in shock.

He realized that the violent consciousness that had been fighting him for control of his body all this ti had completely vanished.

Never before had Aurelius felt his mind and body as comfortable as he did today.

"How do you feel?" Aberforth asked in delight.

"I think… I'm better?" Aurelius said uncertainly.

Dumbledore rushed over and placed the tip of his wand against Aurelius' body, beginning to examine him.

After a mont, Dumbledore said in delight, "Quick! Extract the Obscurus from his body now!"

Although he did not know what Wade had done, at this mont the Obscurus within Aurelius seed to have lost consciousness, showing no resistance at all.

Such a situation should only occur under one condition: when the host had already died.

But now, Aurelius was still alive. Without a doubt, it was Wade's actions that had taken effect.

At this point, Wade's direct involvent was no longer necessary. Dumbledore and Aberforth simultaneously raised the Elder Wand and pointed it at Aurelius, and a mass of black mist was suddenly drawn out by the two of them.

Aurelius let out a cry of pain and then collapsed to the ground.

Although he had felt imnse agony at the mont of separation, after the Obscurus was extracted, Aurelius imdiately felt an unprecedented lightness in his soul.

It was as if… his soul had been reborn.

Shedding the Obscurus was like a snake shedding its skin.

At this mont, while everyone's attention was focused on Aurelius, Wade hurriedly transferred all the "residue" still racing chaotically within his body, trying to force him to absorb it, into the goblin-tal containers on his person.

Once negative emotions were transford into "residue," they beca far easier to control than raw negative emotions.

Wade effortlessly guided and organized these "residues," then stored them in the goblin-tal containers he carried with him.

Even though Wade had accidentally absorbed so of the "residue," it still filled fifteen tal containers.

Wade felt sowhat fortunate. If he had not previously been unsure how much "residue" a Dentor could yield and had not prepared extra containers just in case, he truly would not have been able to store it all now.

After securing the "harvest," Wade finally let out a sigh of relief.

But the matter was not over yet… Wade still needed to finish the act. Only then could he maximize the benefits.

Coincidentally, since Wade had accidentally absorbed so unpurified "residue," under the influence of those negative emotions, certain side effects were beginning to manifest in him…

Wade took a deep breath, then slightly withdrew the soul power he was using to suppress those negative emotions.

The next mont, his originally black eyes abruptly turned blood-red.

An overwhelming urge for bloodshed and destruction surged violently in his heart.

Tsk… the negative emotions of the Obscurus are really strong. I only loosened control a little, and I'm about to turn into a dark lord…

At this mont, while Dumbledore and the others were still rejoicing over Aurelius' recovery, they suddenly sensed that sothing was wrong.

Especially Dumbledore, who felt an intense sense of danger.

He turned his head sharply and saw Wade with crimson eyes and murderous intent radiating from his body.

"This is bad!" Dumbledore muttered.
