The vote began.

The result was unexpectedly unanimous—everyone was in favor.

"Uh... now that I've cald down and thought about it," March 7th said, sticking her tongue out as her voice trailed off, "what if that woman wasn't lying? If we don't go, a lot of innocent people on the Xianzhou Luofu might really get hurt..."

She puffed out her chest, trying her best to sound righteous. "Now is not the ti to be willful! This is being broad-minded and understanding the bigger picture, get it!"

"You're a woman with absolutely no principles," Stelle remarked, crossing her arms.

"What do you an, no principles! This is called assessing the situation and caring for the common people!" March 7th imdiately retorted.

"Little March is always like this. We're all used to it," Welt said, pushing up his glasses, his tone filled with the gentle understanding of an elder.

"So, for the candidates on this Trailblaze mission..." Hiko rested her chin on the back of her hand, her gaze sweeping over everyone as she fell into thought.

"I'll go!" Stelle stepped forward first, her head held high and chest puffed out, her expression solemn. "Saving the Xianzhou Luofu is my duty!"

'Hehe,'she thought,'according to what Kafka said, she'll definitely be on the Xianzhou Luofu, too... I'll get to see her again.'"I'll go too," Caelus followed, stepping forward with a face full of determination.'Hehe,'he mused,'if I can set my brother and Kafka up together... I'll be a kid with both a dad and a mom in the future.'

"Can... can I go too?" Serval raised her hand, her voice tinged with a mix of tentativeness and anticipation.

"Of course you can," Leon replied, nodding at her with a smile.

"I won't be going." Dan Heng shook his head calmly. He was a wanted man on the Xianzhou, forbidden from setting foot in their territory for life—and besides, he had no desire to return to his old ho.

"Then for this Trailblaze journey..." Hiko's gaze turned to Leon. "Leon, what about you?"

"I'll be going, but I probably won't be traveling with you all," Leon said with a slight smile. "So this ti, I'll have to trouble Mr. Yang to lead the team."

"What are you going to do this ti?" March 7th pouted. "You aren't going to run off to find a Stellaron and write a script like you did on Jarilo-VI, then hide on the side watching us follow your plan for the whole journey, are you?"

Her mory of what happened on Belobog was still fresh; after all, it hadn't been that long ago. Looking back, every step the Astral Express crew had taken seed to have been within the bounds of Leon's elaborate plan.

"That definitely won't happen," Leon said, shaking his head with a laugh. "The Xianzhou Luofu is not Belobog. I don't have the ability to make the people of the Xianzhou Alliance listen to my orders."

"Alright, Little March," Hiko said with a smile, patting the girl's shoulder. She then turned to Welt. "In that case, we'll be counting on you this ti, Welt."

"Mm, leave it to ," Welt nodded steadily.

"Target... Xianzhou Luofu! Let's go!" March 7th waved her fist, her eyes lighting up with eagerness once more.

anwhile, Leon also sent a ssage in his private chat group.

[Leon: @All mbers, target is the Xianzhou Luofu. Everyone, set off.]

[Aha: Ahahahahaha... Xianzhou Luofu, Aha is coming!]

"Oh, right, Leon."

During the brief pause while the Express prepared for its warp jump, Serval, carrying a hint of nervousness from her first venture into the sea of stars, asked softly, "Can you tell so information about the Aeon of The Hunt?"

"The Aeon of The Hunt, Lan? You've certainly asked the right person!"

Leon's interest was imdiately piqued, a handso curve forming at the corner of his mouth.

"Leon, you know about the Aeon of The Hunt?" March 7th's ears perked up, and she imdiately leaned in closer.

Stelle and Caelus also drew near, and even Hiko, Welt, and Dan Heng cast curious glances his way.

"It is said..." Leon lowered his voice, dropping a bombshell with his very first sentence, "that Lan once deeply admired another Aeon."

"Aeons can fall in love?" March 7th asked, her face a canvas of question marks.

"That was before they beca an Aeon," Leon stated righteously.

"Logical, very logical!" Stelle and Caelus nodded in perfect sync, looking as if the logic was completely sound.

"You guys... never mind." March 7th gave up arguing and pricked up her ears to continue listening.

"At that ti, Lan was just a mortal," Leon's tone was long and drawn out, as if he were recounting an epic buried in the dust of ages. "How could a re mortal hope to match an aloof and high-and-mighty Aeon? So, Lan strove for strength, endured untold hardships, and finally ascended to godhood himself."

He paused, his tone becoming increasingly tender. "From then on, He searched the universe day after day for any trace of that beloved one, just to confess His feelings in person and offer Her the most brilliant 'Arrow of The Hunt'."

"...Such a pure and persistent love must be a moving legend across the universe, right?" Hearing this, Serval couldn't help but speak up, her heart touched.

"What happened next?" March 7th pressed, unable to contain her curiosity.

"That's it," Leon answered simply.

"Then... which Aeon was it that Lan admired?" Serval asked, her eyes wide with curiosity.

"Does that even need asking?" Leon's smile was blinding as he enunciated every word with dramatic flair. "Of course, it is... the Aeon of Abundance, who cares for all living beings and sows life... Yaoshi."

As the words fell, the carriage plunged into an eerie silence.

Hiko's hand, holding her coffee cup, froze in mid-air. Welt raised a hand to adjust his glasses, a subtle tic. Dan Heng silently turned his gaze away, refusing to be part of this.

March 7th's mouth fell open, her face a perfect picture of shock that scread, 'Do you have any idea what you're saying?!'

Serval blinked slowly, trying to process this outrageous piece of information.

Stelle and Caelus blinked in sync, seemingly trying to calculate whether this was just another one of Leon's elaborate jokes.

Beside them, the stack of Cat Cakes tilted their heads in confusion, looking around curiously at the sudden shift in atmosphere.

[Aha: Ahahahahaha! This is so much fun! Aha can help you spread the word!]

[Aha: Write it down, write it down! I have to tell the brothers at The Tavern all about it!]

By the ti the Astral Express crew finally processed what they had heard, it was too late to stop the gears of chaos from turning.

"What the heck! Aren't The Hunt and the Aeon of Abundance mortal enemies who won't rest until one of them is dead?!" March 7th almost jumped out of her seat.

Serval also nodded in agreent. Even she had heard a little about the undying feud between The Hunt and Abundance.

"Leon," Hiko pressed her fingers to her forehead, her voice laced with a deep sense of powerlessness. "You'd better... not tell this 'story' on the Xianzhou Luofu." What on earth had she been expecting just now?

"And don't tell it in the morning or the evening either, right?" Leon added with a playful smile.

"Why shouldn't we tell it in the morning or evening?" Stelle asked curiously.

"Because..." Leon drew out his tone, a mischievous glint in his eye, "sooner or later, sothing will happen."

After the bout of joking around, a sense of calm returned to the carriage, now punctuated by light, relaxed laughter.

"The jump is about to begin. Please be prepared, Pom-Pom."

With Pom-Pom's countdown, the warp jump officially started.

For Serval, this was an unmatched and novel experience. The interior of the Astral Express was as steady as ever, with none of the pushing sensation of rapid acceleration. But outside the portholes, the stars had lted into streaks of gorgeous light. The train seed to have transford into a great fish swimming through the sea of stars, through the void at an unimaginable speed.
