When the light faded, there was no sky—only fragnts of one.

Shattered constellations drifted above like broken glass suspended in ti. Beneath them, the Oblivion Core cracked open, bleeding streams of gold and gray that twisted together in chaotic beauty.

Zara and Damien stood in the center of it all, still holding hands. Their light flickered, intertwined yet fragile. The newborn pulse—now barely a spark—hovered nearby, its glow dim but steady, watching the impossible unfold.

“We did it,” Zara whispered, her voice trembling. “We made it rember.”

But Damien’s expression stayed tense. He could still feel the hum beneath their feet—the fourth pulse was changing, not ending.

You didn’t destroy , the voice ca again, quieter now, almost thoughtful. You gave shape. You made feel.

The gray fragnts around them began to rise, swirling together into a vast vortex of shifting forms—faces, ruins, beasts, and forgotten worlds rging into one colossal entity. Yet it no longer lood with malice. It pulsed, softly, like a heartbeat rediscovering rhythm.

“It’s... learning,” Zara said.

Damien’s crimson aura flared instinctively. “Or waiting.”

The vortex’s light dimd to a calm silver. Within it, a faint silhouette ford—neither human nor divine. It looked like them, like everything they had fought for, and everything they had lost.

You showed mory. You showed fear. But there is one thing I do not understand...

Zara tilted her head. “What’s that?”

The air trembled as the voice deepened—curious, almost gentle.

Hope.

For a heartbeat, no one spoke. Then Zara stepped forward, her white glow reigniting, soft but sure.

“Hope,” she said, “is when we light the dark even when we know it will return.”

The gray vortex paused. Then, slowly—hesitantly—it mimicked her gesture.

A hand of light reached toward her.

Damien tensed, but Zara didn’t flinch. Their fingertips t.

And in that instant, a spark erupted—brilliant, searing, alive.

White, crimson, and gold fused once more, but this ti not in defiance. It was creation. A new pulse thundered through existence, shaking the Core to its limits.

The newborn pulse’s voice rose, radiant and full: A fifth rhythm... born from balance.

The light burst outward, searing through the darkness. Every remnant of gray flared into color—blue oceans, green forests, silver skies. It wasn’t the world as it was, nor as it had been—it was both, reborn in harmony.

Zara fell to her knees, exhausted but smiling. “What... did we just do?”

Damien looked around, his crimson eyes reflecting the endless dawn. “We made the impossible real.”

The newborn pulse floated above them, glowing brighter than ever. You have birthed Echofire—the pulse that rembers, feels, and creates.

Far above, the shattered constellations reassembled themselves into a burning spiral—the symbol of rebirth.

Zara leaned into Damien, her voice barely a whisper.

“Then maybe now... the world can finally breathe again.”

And deep within the heart of that new world, the fifth pulse beat—steady, eternal, and alive.
