Damien and Mira traveled through an eerie forest, following the map's clues toward the Sorrow King's lair. The trees lood like twisted sentinels, branches reaching out as if to snatch them. The air was thick, almost suffocating, each step forward pulling them deeper into the shadowed realm.

"Are you sure this is the right way?" Mira asked, glancing nervously at the dark canopy above.

"According to the map, we're close," Damien replied, scanning the surroundings. "But sothing feels… off."

Ahead, they noticed a faint, ghostly blue light hovering above the ground. It moved slowly, weaving between the trees, as if inviting them to follow. Mira hesitated, clutching her amulet. "This could be a trap."

Damien gave a nod. "It's likely, but we don't have any other leads. Stay sharp."

They followed the light deeper into the forest until they reached a clearing dominated by a dark, still pond. The water was ink-black, its surface disturbingly calm. Above it, a massive stone statue of a twisted face leered at them, the features grotesque and almost alive. Suddenly, the blue light vanished, leaving them in silence.

From the shadows, figures erged—zombies, but unlike any Damien had encountered. These undead were adorned in ancient armor, eyes glowing with a cold, unnatural light, and their movents were faster, more deliberate.

"Ready?" Damien whispered, gripping his weapon tighter.

"Always," Mira replied, her voice steady.

The zombies charged, and Damien t them head-on, swinging his weapon with precision. Each strike connected, but these undead warriors were relentless. One of them lunged at Mira, and she ducked just in ti, raising her amulet, which glowed fiercely. The light seed to weaken the zombie, giving her the chance to plunge her dagger into its chest.

The fight was fierce and unforgiving, the sound of clashing steel and snarling undead filling the clearing. Damien could feel exhaustion creeping in, but he fought on, his resolve unwavering. Mira's amulet continued to pulse with light, and together, they began to push back the horde.

Just as the last zombie fell, the statue above them groaned, its stone face cracking open to reveal a staircase leading down into darkness.

"Looks like our next step," Mira said, breathing heavily.

Damien wiped his brow and gave a nod. "Whatever's down there, it's closer to the Sorrow King."

As they descended into the depths, the air grew colder, and the walls dripped with an unnatural sli. The path led to a vast underground chamber, lit by strange, green flas that flickered along the walls. At the center of the chamber stood a massive door, covered in ancient symbols and pulsing with dark energy.

Damien felt a chill run down his spine. This was it—the threshold to the Sorrow King's lair.

"Are you ready?" he asked Mira, his voice echoing in the stillness.

Mira took his hand, her grip firm. "Together."
