The spiral staircase led the team into another expansive underground chamber, this one far more majestic than the last. "Partially," Shadow replied, tracing the symbols with her gloved hand. "It’s a warning. Sothing about guardians and a trial. It’s... fragnted, but the ssage is clear—whatever lies beyond this altar isn’t ant for the unworthy."
Before anyone could respond, the hum intensified, and the room plunged into darkness. The golden light vanished, replaced by an eerie blue glow that seed to seep from the walls themselves.
"Movent!" Ghost called out, his visor lighting up with thermal signatures. Shadows materialized from the corners of the room, their forms twisting and shifting as they advanced.
