“We can’t outrun this thing forever.”

“But we can bury it.”

The survivors split, scattering to the edges of the ruined highway.

Leon and Reaper stepped forward as the Titan closed the distance, its claws scraping against the concrete, sparks flying.
Reaper fired a shotgun blast straight into its exposed chest, but the shell barely penetrated.
Leon moved in low, dodging a swipe, and slashed his machete deep into its side.
Black, steaming blood oozed out, and the Titan snarled, twisting unnaturally to swipe at him.
Lucas scrambled to place the charge.
They had seconds.
Evelyn grabbed a tal pipe from the debris and sprinted toward the edge of the overpass.
She jamd it into a weakened beam, trying to destabilize it further.
The Titan let out an ear-piercing shriek, its tongue stretching unnaturally toward Lucas—
BOOM!
Lucas detonated the charge.
The explosion ripped through the weakened structure, sending a massive shockwave through the overpass.
Cracks splintered outward.
“RUN!” Evelyn scread.
The survivors sprinted as the highway groaned, steel beams snapping.
The Titan tried to leap forward, claws reaching— but the entire overpass gave way beneath it.
The monster let out a deafening roar as it plumted into the abyss below, concrete and debris collapsing on top of it.
The survivors barely made it to stable ground, panting, covered in dust and sweat.
Mia peered over the edge, heart still racing.
“Did we… did we kill it?”
A deep rumbling ca from beneath the rubble.
