The rear wing, due to FIA regulations, has very few areas that can be altered, making changes difficult and, most importantly... expensive.
A new rear wing costs at least 1 million US Dollars from design to manufacture.
For the rcedes team, which already has a budget cap, this is not a small amount, especially since half of the money for this season's car upgrades has to be used to develop next season's car.
In comparison, the front wing is much cheaper, and most of the adjustnts to the front wing involve subtraction, with very few additions.
Crucially, the reduced section at the back corresponds precisely to the entrance of the Venturi channel of the rcedes car.
After reduction, the airflow throughput of the Venturi channel can be increased, and by then, whether it's the airflow inside the floor, or the vortex quality, speed, and sealing degree generated by the vortex generator, will all be higher.
Most importantly, the weight of the car's floor is higher than that of the front and rear wings.
As such, for the aerodynamic designers at rcedes, out of the three upgrades this week, this was the only one that truly satisfied and delighted them.
After seeing their new car, Qin Miao and Hamilton gathered and studied for over an hour after the pre-race eting, discussing their understanding and objectives of the new car's design and determining in which specific direction the car needs to be tuned.
As soon as practice session one began, Qin Miao and Hamilton hit the track imdiately.
The mont they drove onto the track, they felt the difference in this car compared to previous ones.
On Qin Miao's side, he felt that the issue of the car's front being too sensitive had eased significantly, making it much more comfortable to drive.
Hamilton's most direct feeling was that the car's grip was stronger in high-speed corners, and in a light fuel load condition, the car only experienced porpoising on the straights when reaching 310 km/h, and the amplitude was very small.
Besides that, the car only porpoised when the track was bumpy, with small amplitude, bouncing twice and then stopping.
In short, after practice session one, both drivers gave extrely positive feedback on the upgraded car.

However, in the competition with his teammate, Qin Miao still took first place in practice session one with a 0.05 seconds faster lap ti than Hamilton.

If Qin Miao was still imrsed in excitent and happiness during practice session one, during practice session two, his beloved car gave both Qin Miao and the rcedes team a cold shower.
At the start of practice session two, Qin Miao, just hitting the track, hadn't felt any issues with his car. But as he drove, Qin Miao sensed through his skills that the car's engine was overheating.
Just as Qin Miao was about to report the issue to the team, a flare of flas and so white smoke appeared behind the car's exhaust pipe.
Normally, a driver cannot see if their car is on fire from behind, and although there were flas, the fire on Qin Miao's car wasn't very large.
However, Qin Miao has the Man and Car Unity skill, so he sensed the car's rear catching fire at the first mont.
In the end, of course, he parked the car near the entrance of the Matthew Passage, and a yellow flag appeared on the track.
Before practice session two even began, Qin Miao's session ended.
This was also the first ti Qin Miao, since entering F1, had to withdraw from the track due to a car malfunction.
