Just as Qin Miao predicted, before the two cars reached the braking point at T1 in Shanghai, Qin Yun’s car ca only level with Qin Miao’s. Even though Qin Miao braked 50 ters earlier, Qin Yun only managed to get a car length ahead before braking.

But after entering the T1 apex, that car length gap was eaten away by the track.

From T2 all the way to T13, Qin Yun didn’t attack Qin Miao.

It wasn’t because she didn’t want to, it was simply because Qin Miao’s cornering speed was faster than hers. Even during these consecutive turns, with Qin Miao conserving fuel, Qin Yun couldn’t find a good opportunity to attack him.

Although anxious, Qin Yun knew her advantage lay in the straights. As long as she didn’t let Qin Miao widen the gap too much and stayed behind him, she still had a chance to overtake on the straight.

Finally reaching the last lap’s T13, Qin Yun steadied her mindset this ti and followed about 0.4 seconds behind Qin Miao.

This position allowed her enough reaction ti if she noticed Qin Miao was planning anything dirty and also let her catch Qin Miao’s slipstream on the back straight, giving her enough slipstream acceleration.

As for Qin Miao, at this mont his heart rate had exceeded 150. Although his hand and foot operations remained steady and gentle, he began to worry about running out of fuel.

This felt like holding an extrely unstable bomb, worrying it might explode due to excessive bumps, yet having to dash forward holding it.

At this mont, Qin Miao had no extra thoughts to care about the fuel tank being enough to finish, because by the 1/2 point of the back straight, Qin Yun was once again 0.2 seconds behind his car.

This ti her relative speed was faster, and she closed in earlier, and there was still half the distance of the straight to go, enough for her to overtake no matter what.

Qin Miao gritted his teeth slightly, discarded the idea of early shifting, and accelerated with normal shifting, while changing lanes again.

Moreover, Qin Miao’s lane change this ti was based on the direction of the rear car’s lane change, moving accordingly.

So from the perspective of the rear car Qin Yun, as she rapidly closed in on the front car, before colliding, she turned right onto the inside line, but the front car seed to grow right ahead of her.

Qin Yun, eyes filled with terror, realized that the expected space on the right didn’t appear, replaced instead by an increasingly close car rear.

The nearly identical angle of Qin Miao’s lane change resulted in this scene in front of Qin Yun.

Just as it seed she would collide with the front car, in that split second, Qin Yun released the throttle.

But because she didn’t brake, only released the throttle, the relative speed of nearly 9 km/h still caused a light bump into Qin Miao’s car rear.

At the mont of collision, cold sweat instantly covered everyone.

Unlike low-speed corner collisions, the risk of high-speed corner collisions is extrely high.

Above a speed of 250 km/h, if even one part of the car’s aerodynamic effect fails, regardless of the driver’s skill, the vehicle will instantly lose control.

It might flip, or go into a pendulum motion, finally crash into a random direction’s barrier, so even taking off right at the spot.

Next, the car might be scrapped with the driver, or just the car scrapped.

Fortunately, Qin Miao gave throttle, Qin Yun released throttle, so the relative speed of collision was only around 2 km/h.

The aerodynamic effects of both cars didn’t see any significant changes.

But this collision scared Qin Miao sober, rendering first place, driver contracts, or the Purple Lottery insignificant compared to his life.

anwhile, Qin Yun felt a burst of fear, realizing her emotions had taken over, focusing only on overtaking Qin Miao and ignoring safety concerns.

Yet now looking back, the driving style of the person ahead couldn’t be called civilized.

Though the defense this ti was quite proper, without serpentine blocking, the danger was indeed initiated by Qin Miao.

Both were swamped with thoughts, but the race hadn’t ended. Qin Miao quickly dismissed stray thoughts and relied on the advantage earned from this not-so-fair defense to enter the next corner.

Because the distance behind him stretched to about a second again, but Qin Miao felt due to normal driving on the back straight his fuel suffered unnecessary consumption, seemingly unable to complete the distance...

So at T14, Qin Miao increased early throttle release from 100 ters to 150 ters.

This not only reduced fuel consumption but also allowed Qin Yun to catch up another 0.5 seconds.

When Qin Miao ca out of T16, Qin Yun again caught Qin Miao’s slipstream.

Seeing the AMG GT behind him sent chills down Qin Miao’s spine.

To maintain his position before the finish line, Qin Miao had to start normal shifting again, silently praying in his heart.

"Oh God, please let have no fuel only after crossing the line, please, I’m begging you..."

This ti, Qin Yun took a good corner, without having her speed dragged away by Qin Miao.

Halfway to the finish line, Qin Yun moved out on the right.

Qin Miao could have defended, but recalling the parallel lane change defense on the back straight, Qin Miao ultimately didn’t turn the steering wheel.

So he just watched as Qin Yun’s car nose gradually appeared in his left window and steadily nibbled away his positional advantage.

Qin Miao glanced at the finish line not far ahead and then at the AMG’s car nose near his driver’s window, his heart in his throat.

Finally, 50 ters before the finish line, when Qin Miao and Qin Yun were wheel-to-wheel in their AMGs, Qin Miao felt a sudden lightness in the thrust, and the engine’s once lofty roar beca subdued.

A jolt of unease hit Qin Miao’s heart, and his previously racing heartbeat slowed by half a beat.

That ever-flashing red refueling indicator on the dashboard was now so abhorrent.

Watching his opponent swiftly moving forward, Qin Miao seed to realize sothing.

Swallowing hard, Qin Miao felt sowhat reluctant, but quickly ca to terms with it.

The bomb weighing heavily on his mind had finally exploded; although it was Qin Miao himself who got affected, he could finally breathe a sigh of relief and release the tension in his nerves.

Qin Miao didn’t regret bringing two laps less worth of fuel; after all, it had already happened, and before the actual race began, Qin Miao didn’t think he had the strength to contest for the championship.

During the qualifying stage, Qin Miao felt that he had already perford at his best, but even so, soone achieved a better result than him.

On the other side, Qin Yun finally overtook Qin Miao before the finish line, and the thrill of overcoming a formidable opponent after much adversity left her almost speechless.

She began to shout aninglessly over the radio to vent, giving Qin Miao a lot of pressure; the unbeatable Qin Miao was no less a pressure on her.

Now that the pressure was finally released, Qin Yun felt instantly relaxed.

She loved racing because of this indescribable thrill after defeating enemies.

Although the person she was competing against had so questionable character, and his driving thods were rather dirty.

Yet, believing she had won, Qin Yun decided to forgive Qin Miao, not for any other reason but because the battle over these few laps with him was thrilling.

Now it was finally over; once back in the pits, she planned to et this person, and maybe they could continue racing in the future.

On the other side, although Qin Miao quickly ca to terms with things, he knew that if Yu Jialiang hadn’t been in the car, he would have secured the first place this race!

Though he had accepted it, Qin Miao inevitably held resentnt towards Yu Jialiang.

You can’t bla Qin Miao; after all, it was Yu Jialiang who forced his way into Qin Miao’s car, and even after hints were given, he didn’t get out.

Qin Miao lost his first-place title, so it’s unavoidable for him to have concerns about Yu Jialiang.

Turning his head, Qin Miao instantly forgot about his resentnt, seeing Yu Jialiang’s face pale like paper, staring blankly ahead.

"Whoa!" Qin Miao exclaid instinctively.

In glide mode now, Qin Miao hurriedly stopped the car at the grassy section inside T1.

Because there was a Matthew Passage there, after parking the car, you could exit the track directly.

"Yu! Whoa, don’t scare , what’s going on?"

After parking, Yu Jialiang didn’t even look at Qin Miao, hurriedly opened the car door, without taking off his helt, started vomiting onto the grass.

Qin Miao couldn’t help but admire Yu Jialiang, managing not to vomit for so long and only doing it after the race ended; this was indeed a tough person.

Suddenly, Qin Miao seed to rember sothing and spoke teasingly, "Yu... I recall soone saying before the race... If you threw up, what should you call ?"

In truth, Qin Miao wouldn’t joke like this with soone unfamiliar, but he couldn’t help it; Yu Jialiang caused him to miss first place, so Qin Miao held so resentnt towards him.

"Who... Who the hell gets carsick just sitting in a car... Ugh..."

Seeing the ss the other person made, Qin Miao pinched his nose and shook his head helplessly.

About five minutes later, staff ran over to check on the situation.

"Mr. Qin, Mr. Yu, did sothing happen to the vehicle?"

Qin Miao explained to the worried staff, "No issues, just ran out of fuel, and Yu isn’t feeling well; he just needs to rest."

Hearing Qin Miao’s explanation, the staff were relieved, as long as there wasn’t a problem with the car.

More than five minutes later, Yu Jialiang finally recovered.

During this ti, Qin Miao stayed by his side; you could say he showed exemplary kindness during this interaction.

Yu Jialiang embarrassedly glanced at Qin Miao after recovering, unsure if it was because of his vomiting, his pre-race remarks, or his causing Qin Miao to lose the championship.

Perhaps it was all of them.

But seeing how the other person looked sowhat pitiful, Qin Miao wasn’t a harsh person. Although he felt so discontent, he still asked with concern, "Are you feeling okay apart from that?"

He didn’t ntion the pre-race joke or the fact that he lost the championship because of it; Qin Miao’s words were filled with concern.
