Soon, dinner was ready. Qin Miao heard Qing say, "Dinner's ready," and got up from the couch, scampering over to serve the food.

During dinner, just as Leclerc had ntioned, Leclerc's mother was quite interested in Qin Miao and chatted with him about all kinds of things.

After the al, she also took lots of photos with Qin Miao.

They stayed at Leclerc's place until after nine in the evening. As they left, Qin Miao felt that his face was almost stiff from smiling.

But it was finally over. Politely declining Pascal's invitation to stay longer, they bid farewell to Leclerc's family. Qin Miao and Qing walked hand in hand through the streets of Monaco towards their hotel.

The two of them didn't have a car in Monaco, nor did they plan on getting one. Besides, Monaco isn't big, so walking back to the hotel Qing booked only took about ten minutes.

The crucial part is that ever since entering F2, Qin Miao and Qing haven't had many opportunities to go out for evening strolls together due to various reasons.

And even during F2, when Qing asked him, Qin Miao wasn't keen on going out for walks.

Let alone after entering F1; Qin Miao lived in England, right near the rcedes team's entrance. It's not an exaggeration to say that out of ten people eting on the street, eleven had watched F1.

But in Monaco, there aren't as many concerns.

This is because most residents here are wealthy individuals, and apart from them, there are just locals.

They've seen plenty of celebrities. Even if they saw Qin Miao, at most, they'd greet him from afar. No one would co over asking for photos with him.

Moreover, it's illegal to take pictures of others with your phone in Monaco, so Qin Miao doesn't have to worry about Qing being overly exposed here.

The two of them could naturally walk hand in hand openly, without worrying about being disturbed.

Back at the hotel, Qin Miao had a comfortable night's sleep.

The next morning, feeling refreshed, the first thing they did was head off to see their new house with Qing.

After more than half a month's preparation, the house's design was finalized, and renovations had begun.

After visiting the house, Qin Miao went to the Monaco town hall to start the process for applying for residency in Monaco.

Qin Miao had ntally prepared for the process not to be quick, believing that all governnt procedures in every country are the sa.

It can't be described as endless waiting, but it could be called negligence.

To his surprise, Monaco's governnt appointed a specialist for Qin Miao the very day to handle all his paperwork.

And by the end of the day, Qin Miao's residency was settled.

Honestly, the speed of it surprised both Qin Miao and Qing.

But the result satisfied them both, and that was enough.

The main reasons were Qin Miao's substantial savings, owning property in Monaco, and crucially, his identity as an F1 driver.

So when faced with Qin Miao, the staff at Monaco's town hall had a certain level of subjective intention, quietly opening many doors for him.

Still, it's a governnt body, so although all the paperwork was done, Qin Miao had to wait 5 business days to receive his residence permit in Monaco.

But starting today, Qin Miao no longer has to pay taxes to the Brits.

The prize money and salary from the team, Qin Miao could take as much as he receives.

Comfortable!

After dealing with these matters, Qin Miao stayed another day in Monaco.

On that day, unlike his usual self of staying ho gaming, Qin Miao went out to visit friends.

After all, his good friend Norris also has a place in Monaco, and this week he was in Monaco rather than back in England.

After a phone call, Qin Miao rode a bicycle borrowed from Leclerc to Norris's house.

Even though Qin Miao's new place indeed has two parking spaces, his car was still in England, so he rode a bicycle borrowed from Leclerc to Norris's house.

The whole trip took less than 15 minutes, and most of that ti Qin Miao spent stopping to check naviation.

Once he got to Norris's house, Qin Miao could distinctly sense Norris wasn't in a good mood.

The reason wasn't hard to guess. Compared to the start of the season, McLaren's competitiveness waned as the season progressed.

The recent races even made it hard to break into the top six.

It's as if the rain at the Russian Grand Prix not only dealt Norris a heavy blow but also gave McLaren a slap, shattering their montum, so since that race, McLaren seed sowhat downcast.

In such an environnt, it's inevitable Norris wasn't in a good mood.

However, upon seeing Qin Miao and learning Qin Miao had also moved to Monaco, Norris displayed a genuinely happy smile.

At least during rest days, Norris had a lot more opportunities to et up with Qin Miao, go offline to ga, or go fishing at sea together.

Three days after the Arican Grand Prix, Qin Miao finally left Monaco and returned to the UK.

Their house in the UK remained, as Qin Miao and Qing had lived there for so long, they had so attachnt to it.
