So the team unilaterally canceled all of Qin Miao's social engagents.

The cancellation of the schedule directly resulted in Qin Miao having an entire afternoon of free ti.

After lunch, Qing also brought her mother to the paddock.

However, they did not go straight to the rcedes team's garage but instead wandered around the paddock, watched other races, participated in many activities prepared specifically for the audience, and bought quite a few things.

After all, the F1 Grand Prix is ultimately a grand show; while the F1 race is the main course, a lavish banquet surely cannot consist of only one main dish; it needs side dishes and appetizers for embellishnt.

The other activities and entertainnt facilities in the F1 paddock serve as the side dishes of the race.

It wasn't until after 3 p.m. that the two of them arrived at the team's lounge.

At this ti, Qin Miao was still in the lounge watching the race footage from last year, studying the clips rcedes provided him fra by fra.

Yet, seeing his wife and mother arriving, Qin Miao temporarily set aside his work.

"How is it? Did you have fun inside the paddock?" After handing Qing and his mom two bottles of water, Qin Miao asked with curiosity.

Since the British Grand Prix in 2019, Qin Miao hadn't played around the F1 paddock.

Even when he was in F2, Qin Miao, though having the ti and opportunity, was addicted to gaming. Whenever he had a break, he'd be engrossed in gas, and with the pandemic being serious, options other than fitness and gaming were barely considered for leisure.

And after entering F1, it beca impossible.

In such an environnt, even Mazepin from the not-so-popular Haas Team would be surrounded by fans for autographs and photos, with the risk of stampedes not unheard of.

And for a driver of Qin Miao's level, that's even less imaginable.

If Qin Miao appeared there, it would definitely be a case of going in vertically and coming out horizontally.

"Not bad, quite lively, but it's like these foreigners aren't at all concerned about the current pandemic risk—with just one in twenty people wearing a mask, and even then, the mask is worn below the nose," his mom comnted while unpacking her bags, complaining a bit.

Qin Miao nodded in agreent. These foreigners seed fearless, even standing firm if they caught it.

Pandemic? If I don't catch it, it doesn't exist.

"That's just how people are around here, you'll get used to it," Qing said.

Qin Miao was sowhat curious, asking, "Mom, what did you buy?"

"Oh, just so clothes and souvenirs, planning to take them back and give a piece to all the neighbors," his mom replied with a smile, looking at Qin Miao.

Qin Miao's lips twitched slightly; he easily understood what that look from his mom ant after so many years.

With a resigned nod, Qin Miao said, "Alright, I'll sign, but tomorrow, I have a race tonight."

"No problem, just get it done before I go back," his mom replied with a happy smile.

Watching his mom smile, Qin Miao also smiled. Being able to do sothing for his mom, other than just providing money, gave Qin Miao a sense of fulfillnt.

The only pity was that due to work reasons, Qin Miao couldn't be by his mom's side for long periods.

However, seeing the state his mom was in now, without having to worry about him anymore, she seed to be living quite comfortably these days…

After that, Qing placed all the items her mom just bought in Qin Miao's lounge.

Then the two of them left again, primarily because staying here would affect Qin Miao, and they had to go out.

Before leaving, his mom approached Qin Miao and gave him a big hug.

"Go for it, son. I've always believed in you. Don't put too much pressure on yourself; you'll win if you just perform at your usual level in this race."

In the face of his mom's encouragent, Qin Miao could only nod continually and reply, "Yes, yes, yes."

After responding, Qin Miao sent the two most important won in his life out the door.
