Wei Chen nodded, but at that mont, he heard two telepathic voices sent by Mo Jue and Hua Zuixian.

The two ssages arrived at the sa ti. This made Wei Chen realize that the two old n did not truly believe in him, but that was normal. They did not know his secret.
Wei Chen quickly pushed these thoughts to the back of his mind and focused. He needed to contact Youqi, or better yet, contact his boss.

The sound of fierce sword clashes resounded repeatedly as Jian Heng attacked the Gu clan ancestor first to buy ti for Wei Chen. He was the only one who truly believed in Wei Chen and was hoping for the best.

The Gu clan ancestor sent a palm strike toward Jian Heng, but Jian Heng’s sword movents were balanced and not as aggressive as Mo Jue’s. He defended easily and even diverted most of the power into the ground.

Dust and soil exploded outward.

The sound of a super hydro blade cutting through dust and debris rushed toward the Gu clan ancestor. The power was enough to cut jade and tal, but to the Gu clan ancestor, it was nothing more than a flow of water. He only raised his hand and created a thin spiritual qi shield to block it.
Jian Heng, with his rich combat experience, quickly slashed upward, forcing the Gu clan ancestor to divert his attention. The Gu clan ancestor’s foot ca down to block the attack, but unknown to anyone, Jian Heng’s sword moved as if it had a life of its own.
Like a snake, it suddenly avoided the Gu clan ancestor’s foot, and the tip of the sword shot straight toward the Gu clan ancestor’s dantian.

The Gu clan ancestor had no choice but to defend himself. He was forced to use his left hand to stop Jian Heng’s sword from reaching his dantian.
At this mont, Hua Zuixian waved his fan, drawing liquid from his wine gourd. It was not water. It was the wine that Hua Zuixian kept to sip from ti to ti.
A massive dragon more than five kiloters long, ford entirely of wine, rose into the sky as Hua Zuixian stepped onto its head, riding it like a carefree immortal.
"Drunken Dragon, descend!" he shouted, waving his fan.
Like a soldier receiving a command, the wine dragon plunged from the sky toward the Gu clan ancestor, forcing him to halt his movents.
The Gu clan ancestor raised his head and tried to slap the dragon away, but the mont his hand touched the wine dragon, it exploded into seven smaller wine dragons that rushed toward the Gu clan ancestor’s seven orifices.
"If destroying you from the outside is useless, then how about destroying you from the inside!? Even if you are a Great Ascension realm expert, you must feel sothing!" Hua Zuixian shouted in defiance as he controlled the seven dragons to attack the Gu clan ancestor’s seven orifices at the sa ti.
"Useless!" the Gu clan ancestor shouted. His confidence did not waver as he pushed Jian Heng away along with his sword, sending him crashing into the wall of the ruin.
"Hmph!" He snorted and released a single burst of spiritual qi outward, destroying all seven wine dragons at the sa ti.
The Gu clan ancestor looked at Hua Zuixian with a smirk, hoping to see despair on his face. Instead, he found a smile filled with defiance.
Huuuuuuuu.
The sound of a long exhale echoed as Mo Jue released a turbid stream of spiritual qi, his focus reaching its peak.
"Be... severed!" With a single uttered word, the simple sword in Mo Jue’s hand slashed forward.
It was a simple slash. There was nothing fancy about it, just a single strike that even a mortal farr could have perford, but to the Gu clan ancestor’s eyes, it was different.
He sensed danger. Life threatening danger.
He quickly raised his power and defended with all his might.
Clash! Clank! Skreeeeee!
Blue condensed spiritual qi burst outward, maintained by his left hand, while his right hand rapidly ford seals to strengthen the shield.
But still, the invisible slash continued to push him backward, even cutting slightly into his shield.
"What!? Impossible! What kind of combat technique is this!?" the Gu clan ancestor exclaid in alarm. This was not a normal combat technique. There was no way a technique from the lower realm should be able to do sothing like this!
The slashing intent cut deeper and deeper, slicing through half the thickness of his shield. The Gu clan ancestor began to sweat. At this rate, the body of his descendant would be cut in half, and he would have no choice but to be forced back to the upper realm.
But to avoid an attack from a lower realm maggot? If anyone in the upper realm learned of this, where would he put his face?
"Arrrgghhh!" the Gu clan ancestor cried out in rage as he raised his power to resist Mo Jue’s True Sky Severing Cut.
At the sa ti, the sky darkened, as if it had detected soone wielding power above the threshold of the lower realm. Calamity clouds began to gather.
"Arrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrgghhhhh!" With one final war cry, the Gu clan ancestor raised his power just enough to avoid earning the full wrath of the laws of heaven and earth, yet still enough to destroy Mo Jue’s True Sky Severing Cut.
The slashing force shattered into wisps of the Dao of Severing, and the Gu clan ancestor’s expression turned grave. This technique was no longer within the realm of lower realm techniques. It was already touching the boundary of a Golden Immortal technique.
Who was this man? The Gu clan ancestor thought as he glared at Mo Jue.
