— A Few Days Later - Sword Manor —
The Sword Manor could now be said to be a thing of the past, as normal training and cultivation had been 80 percent indefinitely halted. As for the reason?
It was because most of the disciples had been working in the U-Phone production hall. Even though the U-Phone had already been integrated into the production line, so parts still required human hands.
Especially the newer version, the U-Phone 2. This new version would allow users to take pictures, record video and sound, and upload them onto the Spirit Net. The Spirit Net had also been updated to allow users to watch videos on a platform called U-Tube.
All of this was part of the plan that Wei Chen had told Mo Xingyao about.
In return for the lack of training, the Thousand Treasure Hall compensated the Sword Manor with high-grade Qi Gathering Pills and Qi Revitalization Pills for the disciples, reducing the ti they needed for cultivation.
Inside the production hall, Wei Chen walked alongside Jian Ganglie, inspecting the products.
Jian Ganglie was now wearing a mock turtleneck, jeans, and a pair of sneakers. His long hair was neatly combed and tied into a man bun. His long Chinese beard had been trimd into clean and fashionable stubble. He wore glasses, an artifact that helped him inspect and check the details of the products, and also assisted him in constructing new spiritual arrays from the blueprints Wei Chen had provided.
In conclusion, the guy was dressed in an iconic Steve Jobs style outfit. And he even looked good in it. He looked several years younger than before.
This stemd from a private joke that Wei Chen had co up with himself. He had introduced Jian Ganglie to modern clothes and given him that Steve Jobs style outfit.
As for where he got them from, of course it was the Underworld Redeem Shop. That place had all kinds of things. They even had modern cultural goods such as clothes, shoes, and office lady outfits.
ESPECIALLY! office lady outfits.
He did not know why there was such a large variety of office lady outfits, but sothing told him that he should not look too deeply into that abyss.
Otherwise, he might have trouble sleeping.

The new product, the U-Phone 2, had an improved design and a slightly bigger screen. It allowed users to have a more pleasant experience without opening the hologram-like spirit screen function, which would otherwise let nearby people see what they were viewing.
"Look at this, Mr. Wei," Jian Ganglie said as he took one of the U-Phone 2 units from the production line and showed it to Wei Chen.
"This is the new cover I designed myself. The front touchscreen is more responsive and feels better than the last version, and the back cover is strong enough to withstand a full-power blow from soone at the peak of the Qi Refining Realm. It is a bit more durable than the last version," said Jian Ganglie as he handed the new phone to Wei Chen.
Wei Chen touched it and found that the tactile response was indeed much better than the last version.
"What kind of material is this? It’s cold but it didn’t feel like simple tal." He asks.
"Oh? This is a special mixture of tempered tals that I ca up with. It only serves as a luxury cover and enhances durability slightly while keeping the cost down. This is the diluted durability version. I plan to use a more durable version for the U-Phone 3 or for a limited edition, as Lady Mo Xingyao suggested."
"I have already drafted the ideas and prepared early prototypes for both the limited edition and the U-Phone 3. I guarantee that with a little more ti, I can ensure that the production cost will not exceed our minimum threshold while upgrading the functions and improving the ease of use of the U-Phone 3."
"As for the limited edition, I have already contacted Lady Dream Butterfly for her input. I guarantee that anyone who adores her would break open their vaults to buy it!" Jian Ganglie explained with a proud look.
Damn... this guy is a genius. Maybe if I give him so ti, he might even produce the U-Phone series until it reaches double digits. Add a little improvent here, enhance the cara with more detail there, and then sell it again as a new version with an increased model number.

Jian Ganglie nodded. He still seed a bit confused, but decided not to dwell on it before continuing their business.
"You ca here to inspect the product. Does this an the new product will launch soon?" he asked.
"Yes," Wei Chen nodded. "Right now, the U-Phone 1 has been sold for quite so ti, and Mo Xingyao has already reduced the price for a few months. I think she plans to launch the new product soon."
"May I ask what Lady Mo Xingyao is doing right now? If it’s a secret, you don’t need to say it," Jian Ganglie asked curiously, because it was usually Mo Xingyao who would co to visit him and inspect the product.
"Oh, she’s directing an advertisent film for the new U-Phone right now," Wei Chen said with a smile.
Jian Ganglie was confused. "Advertisent film?"
