“Who is your Lord?” Lu Ye asked. Since he had nothing else to do, he could seize this chance to glean information about the Lord from Dao Thirteen.
Although he was stuck in this unknown world, he would return to Jiu Zhou sooner or later. Through his brief contact with the Lord previously, Lu Ye discovered that the other man was ambitious and had so unusual skills. The Lord would probably stir up a storm in Jiu Zhou soti in the future.
As such, Lu Ye had to find out more about the Lord so that he would be prepared to deal with him when he returned to Jiu Zhou.
Dao Thirteen shook his head to show that he had no idea.
Lu Ye frowned. “What’s his na?”
Dao Thirteen shook his head again.
Lu Ye kept on asking several questions, but Dao Thirteen either remained silent or shook his head. This made Lu Ye feel helpless. He had discovered long ago that Dao Thirteen was dull-witted. Now, he finally realised that even though this guy wasn’t a fool, he wasn’t far from being one.
“I’m a Dao Trooper!” Dao Thirteen suddenly brought up sothing strange.
“Dao Trooper?” Lu Ye was puzzled.
“Yes.” Dao Thirteen nodded.
[What is a Dao Trooper?] Although Lu Ye had never heard of it before, he realised sothing.
The Lord had probably made Dao Thirteen ascend to his current Realm using an unusual skill. Therefore, even though Dao Thirteen was powerful, he was slow-witted. Recalling sothing, Lu Ye asked, “Since you’re Dao Thirteen, are there Dao Twelve, Dao Fourteen, and so on?”
Dao Thirteen shook his head again, and Lu Ye was no longer in the mood to speak.
It wasn’t difficult to find out what Dao Thirteen knew. Lu Ye just had to use Two Hearts Beating as One on him. Once the Divine Glyph was activated, he would have access to all the secrets in Dao Thirteen’s mind.
But if he did that, all his secrets would be revealed to Dao Thirteen as well. Therefore, he wasn’t willing to use the move.
Even though Dao Thirteen was slow-witted, Lu Ye had to be cautious.
He gave up on the idea of gleaning information from Dao Thirteen. The cave fell silent as the two of them were seated across from each other.
Ti went by quickly as three days had passed.
Lu Ye furrowed his brows. Although his cultivation had slightly restored after three days, he was still a Third-Order Spirit Creek Realm Master.
Considering the speed, it would take him ages to fully restore his cultivation as a Real Lake Realm Master. As long as the restrictive force wasn’t shattered, it was pointless to cultivate his power.
He couldn’t figure out why the Heavens decided to seal his cultivation or what it was covering up.
He initially intended to wait for his cultivation to be fully restored before leaving this place to see what kind of world it was. Now, it seed that his plan wasn’t going to work.

There seed to be many people in the village. Since there were a lot of houses, Lu Ye didn’t just barge in. Instead, he studied the village from the outside.
As he scanned the area with his Divine Ego, he discovered that there were around 100 families with over 1,000 residents.
He was glad that the villagers were Humans, not so other strange Race. Following his experiences in several Hidden Realms, he knew that Jiu Zhou wasn’t the only world in this expansive universe. Naturally, Humans weren’t the only Race either.
However, so things puzzled him.
Although the village looked ordinary, every family seed well-off as they had many kids. The people here seed fertile as every family had at least two to three kids. So families even had six to seven kids.
There was a large Spirit Farm outside the village where Spirit Rice was grown. Lu Ye picked so grains of rice and stuffed them into his mouth. The Spiritual Power within the rice wasn’t ample, but if one consud it regularly, it would lengthen his lifespan, though it wouldn’t increase his cultivation much.
In that case, there should be many people who lived a long life in this world. What was strange was that there weren’t old people in the village. Even people above the age of 40 were rare. Most of them were in their twenties or thirties.
There were around 100 cultivators in the village, which was a considerable number. What was odd was that they were all weak as they were only in the Spirit Creek Realm. They didn’t look like cultivators, though. Just like the commoners, they were toiling away on the farm as though they were rely farrs.
Supposedly, people of such a well-off village should be able to live comfortably, but according to Lu Ye’s observation, the people in the village, regardless of their gender, seed afraid as though so danger would fall upon them at any mont.
Even the innocent children didn’t look happy when they were supposed to be worry-free at their age.
Lu Ye couldn’t figure out why the atmosphere in the village was so strange. After observing the village for half a day, he decided to enter it.
Regardless, he had to co into contact with the local people to find out more about this place. Otherwise, he couldn’t achieve anything by hiding in a cave with Dao Thirteen.
Before he showed up, he kept the Inviolable Saber and stuffed his Storage Bag into his clothes. Then, he led Dao Thirteen into the village.
When the farrs saw them, they only took a brief look and stopped paying attention to them.
This made Lu Ye feel perplexed. Supposedly, villagers should be wary of strangers, but that wasn’t what happened here. They just ignored the two of them.
When so kids, who were playing around at the village entrance, saw Lu Ye and Dao Thirteen, they ran further into the village. While running, a slightly older child shouted, “Village Chief, there are so refugees here!”
[Refugees…] It seed that this world wasn’t as peaceful as Lu Ye had thought. There must be so unknown danger that lood over these people like a mountain. That was why they appeared so anxious. Moreover, the danger might fall upon them at any mont.

The kid’s shouting had alerted the villagers, so many people opened the door to have a look, but they refrained from approaching the two of them.

In Jiu Zhou, cultivators would never work on a farm. That was because every Sect or prestigious family would protect a lot of commoners, who would provide the goods that they needed.
In this unknown world, it seed common that cultivators were also farrs.
The village chief appeared inconsolable. It was a wonder what he had gone through. His bloodshot eyes showed that he hadn’t rested well. He sized up Lu Ye before shifting his attention to Dao Thirteen. He then asked, “Are you here to seek shelter?”
Lu Ye nodded and furrowed his brows, appearing bitter and crestfallen.
He knew nothing about this world, so he decided to say as little as he could. Since the other party thought he was a refugee, he just pretended to be one. In that case, it was only natural for him to appear vexed and mournful.
“Are you a cultivator?” asked the village chief.
Lu Ye nodded and activated his Spiritual Power, showing the weak fluctuations of power as a Third-Order Spirit Creek Realm Master.
The village chief sighed. “You’re lucky to have survived. Since you’ve managed to co to this village, just stay here. Whether you’ll stay alive depends on your luck.”
With that, he beckoned to Lu Ye, who followed the village chief along with Dao Thirteen.
They soon arrived at a courtyard with the village chief leading the way.
