Ying Wuji thought both parties were about to get into a fight. After all, Lu Ye had released all the captives, so those from Silver Snake Valley had no more restraints. On the other hand, the two of them were surrounded by cultivators from the five major Families, so the situation wasn’t in their favour.

Certainly, he didn’t doubt that Lu Ye could fight his way out of this place, but he might not be able to do the sa.

He decided that if both parties got into a scuffle, he would follow Lu Ye closely lest he fell into the enemies’ hands again.

Previously, he was captured because he was foolish and negligent. If he was caught again, he would be too embarrassed to ask for Lu Ye’s help.

Much to his surprise, after a long stalemate, Chu Ruoyu only let out a sigh. The battle he had expected never happened.

The sigh signified Chu Ruoyu’s approval of Lu Ye and also his concession.

He had co to the realisation that, if they got into a fight, many cultivators in the courtyard would be injured or killed.

Therefore, he gave an order, after which the cultivators of the five Families surrounded Lu Ye and Ying Wuji as they moved towards the door. They were escorting as well as monitoring them.

Two hours later, they arrived at the exit of the Hidden Realm. The cultivators guarding the place apparently had no idea what was going on. When they saw a large group of people coming over, they were shocked. Upon an inquiry, they found out that these people were escorting the two intruders to leave the Hidden Realm.

Naturally, they were displeased. Apart from the Humans from the bases that they had accepted, no one had ever barged into their Hidden Realm before. Regardless of who the intruders were or what their motive was, they had invaded and humiliated Silver Snake Valley.

As such, they couldn’t fathom why the leaders of the Hidden Realm even ca to such an agreent with the intruders. However, since a decision had been made, they were not in any place to object to it. They could only execute the order.

The exit wasn’t a physical door. It was just a weak point in this place. The powerful cultivators from the past had left behind a thod for them to control the door. As such, if they wanted to enter or leave the Hidden Realm, they had to pass through this door.

“Little Friends, just to let you know that it’s not easy to open the door, so it’ll take so ti. Please be patient,” Chu Ruoyu said to Lu Ye after landing on the ground, and then he gave an order to the cultivators who guarded the place. “Open the door.”

“Yes,” they replied and carried out his order.

Unlike the vigilant and worried Ying Wuji, Lu Ye just stood there in silence. He appeared so languid that it was as though the stares around him didn’t bother him one bit.

For this reason, the cultivators from the five Families didn’t dare make a rash move. They had no idea how powerful Lu Ye truly was, but they knew that Long You, Wei Wuguang, and the others were formidable.

Since Lu Ye could easily defeat and capture them, there was no way he was weak. No one doubted that if they dared make a move, the seemingly harmless man would flare up.

As ti passed, Lu Ye furrowed his brows. “It’s too slow!”

They had been standing there for an hour, but the door still wasn’t open yet. Moreover, he could see that the cultivators guarding the place were deliberately trying to stall for ti.

He didn’t know how to open the door, but he could see that they were not doing their best.

Chu Ruoyu replied, “It takes ti to open the door, Little Friend. Please…”

“I’ll give you an hour. If the door still isn’t opened by then, we’ll stay here.” Lu Ye turned to look at him with an icy gaze.

The blatant threat made the cultivators around him furious, and even Chu Ruoyu squinted his eyes.

“Sure. I’m fine with staying here.” Ying Wuji grinned, appearing to be tempted.

Right after he arrived in this Hidden Realm, he was captured, imprisoned, and tortured. As such, he had a lot of anger to vent out. He would be pleased if Lu Ye decided to slaughter them, for he would be able to get his revenge and let the five Families know that he was a powerful cultivator who was ranked 16th in the Fight for Supremacy.

Chu Ruoyu raised his hand, and the clamorous crowd fell silent. He evaded Lu Ye’s glance and looked at one of the cultivators who guarded the place. “Ankang, can you open the door in an hour regardless of the price?”

After giving it so thought, Chu Ankang lifted his head. “Yes.”

“Open the door in an hour, then.”

“Yes.” Chu Ankang accepted the order and shouted, “Hurry up!”

Only then did Chu Ruoyu shift his attention to Lu Ye. “Are you happy now, Little Friend?”

“Yeah.”

The cultivators guarding the place hastened their pace as a golden light spread and ford the shape of a door in the Void. Lu Ye watched the door while monitoring his surroundings.

It had co to a point where he wouldn’t want things to veer off course. Although he had co to an agreent with them, he had a feeling that they were up to no good. They weren’t just trying to send him away out of wariness. As he looked at the door and recalled what had happened, he ford so speculation.

“How long will it take before I can pass through the door?” he asked.

Chu Ruoyu replied, “You can pass through the door when it is stable enough. Certainly, you can leave now if you want to, but there might be accidents when the door isn’t stable enough.”

“For example?”

“I’m not sure. After all, the door was left behind by the cultivators from 1,000 years ago. Although we can activate it, we don’t know how it works.” Chu Ruoyu ran his fingers through his beard, appearing inscrutable.

Lu Ye nodded and suddenly turned to look at him. “What’s the place outside the door?”

Chu Ruoyu suddenly paused what he was doing, but he soon replied, “It’s the Peerless Continent outside the door, of course.”

A sneer played on Lu Ye’s lips as he walked towards the door. Ying Wuji had been paying close attention to him, so he quickly followed him upon seeing that.

Chu Ruoyu’s expression changed all of a sudden. “Little Friend, the door isn’t stable yet, so there might be danger if you pass through it now. Please think it over!”

Lu Ye ignored him and stepped out of the door. The golden door trembled slightly as though it was about to fall apart but soon stabilised.

After that, Ying Wuji also did the sa. The two of them were soon out of everyone’s sight.

Chu Ruoyu’s face fell as he turned to look at Chu Ankang. “Where does the exit lead to?”

All of them shifted their attention to him as well.

Chu Ruoyu and the leaders of the five Families had their considerations by agreeing to let Lu Ye and Ying Wuji leave. One of the reasons was that they were wary of Lu Ye’s power, so they didn’t want him to stay in Silver Snake Valley.

They certainly wouldn’t allow a formidable enemy to stay in their Hidden Realm. Otherwise, no one would be at ease. As such, they had to get rid of him as soon as they could.

Although these people were fairly powerful, they had been living in peaceful tis for far too long. They had lost the courage to fight and to kill. Therefore, Chu Ruoyu and the other leaders were not willing to confront Lu Ye and Ying Wuji.

Since they wanted to get rid of the two intruders while not willing to get into a conflict with them, there was only one way to do it. They had to let the Corpse Race deal with them.

The Hidden Realm was stealthily wandering around the Void. Although the route it took was not fixed, there were traces to be found.

All five Families had cultivators who were responsible for deducing where the door would open next. The person responsible for such a matter now was Chu Ankang.

Chu Ruoyu had lied to Lu Ye by saying that it wasn’t easy to open the door and that it took a lot of ti. Indeed, they needed to use so resources to open the door, but as long as it was well executed, the door would open in ten breaths of ti.

If it took such a long ti to open the door, how were the representatives supposed to return safely? Therefore, upon hearing Chu Ruoyu’s words, Chu Ankang instantly realised his intention.

Chu Ruoyu had intended to open the door in a specific location before sending the two intruders away. Things would be simple, then. Chu Ankang secretly tried to select a suitable location to open the door while stalling for ti.

Unfortunately for them, things went against their wishes. Lu Ye seed to have realised their intention. He didn’t only urge them to hurry up but also made a move before the door even stabilised. Now, the location where the door had opened wasn’t ideal.

Chu Ankang replied, “It’s supposedly near Lin Xun’s Grave.”

After 1,000 years of accumulation, although they wouldn’t dare say they understood the entire Peerless Continent fully well, they roughly knew where they could open the door safely or where there might be danger.

That was why they could always open the door in safe places and avoid dangerous areas.

“Lin Xun’s Grave!” They gasped upon hearing that.

The Corpse Race mbers were transford from Humans. Lin Xun was a powerful cultivator in the Peerless Continent from hundreds of years ago. After becoming a Corpse Race mber, he didn’t lose the power he possessed before his death. What was more, he had even acquired many skills exclusive to the Corpse Race. As such, it was difficult to deal with him.

There were many powerful Corpse Race mbers. The most powerful one was certainly the Golden Corpse King, Shi Sha, and the Corpse Marshals under him were formidable as well.

Although Lin Xun was slightly weaker than a Corpse Marshal, he was also a force to be reckoned with.

He had over 10,000 corpses working for him. They mostly stayed in his grave. Lin Xun’s Grave was a forbidden area for those from Silver Snake Valley. They wouldn’t dare open the door in a radius of 30,000 kilotres around the grave as they were worried Lin Xun would notice them and co looking for them.

“Although the noise of opening the door isn’t loud, Lin Xun will supposedly be alerted as long as it’s not too far away from him,” Chu Ankang said while thinking it was such a sha. “If we could hold them up for half a day, we could open the door in Silver Corpse Marshal’s territory, and they would be dood.”

Chu Ruoyu shook his head. “It’s already the best outco. If we opened the door in Silver Corpse Marshal’s territory, it might do us more harm than good. Activate the Sky Mirror. Let’s see how those two reckless brats are going to be destroyed!”
