Having turned into a red light, Lu Ye swiftly moved around. His Inviolable Saber was glowing, and Sharp Edge Glyph was continuously running. Wherever the blade struck, it could destroy anything. Even though the Golden Corpse King had a robust body, he could hardly ward off Lu Ye’s attacks.

Lots of his flesh had been scraped off. Although it had only been ten breaths of ti since Lu Ye activated Beast Form, the Golden Corpse King had lost a lot of flesh, revealing his golden bones in many parts of his body.

Lan Zi Yi was thrilled. If the situation continued to be in their favour, the Golden Corpse King would be killed soon.

While she was in her thoughts, the Golden Corpse King suddenly turned to look at Ju Jia and widened his hideous mouth. When he growled, a cloud of golden fog gushed out of his mouth. The next mont, it exploded and spread in all directions.

All of them were instantly engulfed in the fog.

“Source Corpse Poison!” Lan Zi Yi was flabbergasted.

The stronger Corpse Race mbers could produce Source Course Poison. As the strongest Corpse Race mber among them, the Golden Corpse King could naturally do that as well.

Yang Yuan had suffered a setback because of this.

In fact, Lan Zi Yi had been keeping an eye out for this since the battle started. She had been avoiding coming into direct contact with the Golden Corpse King.

Based on past experiences, she knew that a Corpse Race mber had to directly injure a person and inject the Source Corpse Poison through the wound to make it effective.

Judging from the Golden Corpse King’s action, it seed that his Source Corpse Poison was even more potent. Even though he didn’t directly hurt them, he could still make them susceptible to the poison by gushing out a fog.

Lan Zi Yi, Ju Jia, and Lu Ye were all wounded. When the golden fog filled the air, Lan Zi Yi could feel a mysterious force creeping into her body through the wounds. Even though she had activated her power, she still couldn’t resist it.

Soon enough, she realised that her body was going through so transformation.

The Golden Corpse King had waited until now before using the Source Corpse Poison. It was apparent that he realised the situation wasn’t in his favour. He must’ve exerted himself to do such a thing.

That was indeed the case. The mont he puffed out the Source Corpse Poison, his aura beca evidently weaker.

Lan Zi Yi wasn’t in the mood to celebrate, though. She quickly fished out the pill made by Hua Ci and consud it to suppress the Source Corpse Poison.

To her chagrin, the pill wasn’t effective.

It wasn’t that Hua Ci’s pill was useless; it was just that the Source Corpse Poison from the Golden Corpse King was too potent.

Although the pill could suppress the Source Corpse Poison from ordinary Corpse Race mbers, it was useless against the one from the Golden Corpse King.

“Kill him quickly!” Lan Zi Yi yelled and intensified her attacks.

They had to end this battle as soon as possible. If they couldn’t kill the Golden Corpse King before the Source Corpse Poison broke out, all three of them would be turned into Corpse Race mbers.

The Golden Corpse King appeared even more battered now. Following Lu Ye’s relentless attacks, no part of his body was intact. As the Saber Lights flickered, he was like a piece of pork on a chopping board as his flesh was cut off from him.

Initially, he thought he could drive off these people by using the Source Corpse Poison so that he could take a breather. Much to his surprise, not only was his plan ineffective, but he had also put himself in a more dire situation.

Presently, his biggest predicant was that he was bound to the spot by Ju Jia. Faced with Lu Ye’s violent attacks, he couldn’t even dodge. That was why he looked so battered.

If this went on, he would probably lose his life before the three of them were turned into Corpse Race mbers. Naturally, he wasn’t willing to resign to such a fate.

He growled as a sense of determination radiated from his golden pupils. Ignoring Lan Zi Yi’s harassnt and Lu Ye’s fatal attacks, he lifted his hand and extended his palm towards Ju Jia.

The next mont, blood splashed onto the floor. Ju Jia was unhard because the Golden Corpse King had slashed across his own arm instead of Ju Jia.

By paying the price of losing one arm, the Golden Corpse King broke free from the restriction.

[Damn it!] Lan Zi Yi felt her heart sinking when she saw that. She quickly wielded her saber, but the Golden Corpse King easily dodged her attack.

When the Golden Corpse King finally got rid of Ju Jia, he showcased how agile he was. His speed surpassed anyone in the Cloud River Realm. Even a Sword Cultivator like Mu Qingyun could never catch up to him in this situation.

Just as Lan Zi Yi thought she would be hard, the Golden Corpse King ignored her and skirted past her. That was because Lu Ye, who was covered in a yellow glow, was relentlessly running after him.

Only Lu Ye was able to catch up to the Golden Corpse King.

Suddenly, the situation turned awkward.

The freed Golden Corpse King was running away while Lu Ye was racing after him. Saber Lights struck the back of Golden Corpse King and caused him various degrees of injuries, but he couldn’t be killed so easily.

Although Lan Zi Yi wanted to help, her speed wasn’t on par with that of Lu Ye and the Golden Corpse King. Despite being powerful, she couldn’t give him a hand. Furthermore, she had to be careful after being struck with Source Corpse Poison. She wouldn’t dare activate too much of her power.

On the other hand, Ju Jia was used to being a punching bag. However, he was too clumsy to race after such a formidable enemy. Holding the broken arm of Golden Corpse King, he felt dejected.

Soon, Lan Zi Yi discovered sothing strange. Although the Golden Corpse King was running around, he wouldn’t leave a radius of 1,500 tres around the hall. It was as though he couldn’t leave sothing important behind.

If this went on, it would be hard to tell which party would be the winner.

Certainly, the Golden Corpse King was in a tight spot. He was only flying around, not willing to deal with Lu Ye head-on. However, he was apparently stalling for ti. When the Source Corpse Poison broke out in their bodies, he wouldn’t only get himself out of this perilous situation, but he would also have three powerful underlings.

anwhile, Lu Ye was trying to destroy the Golden Corpse King before that happened.

Lan Zi Yi suddenly staggered. The transformation in her body made her flustered, so she wouldn’t dare activate her power. She shouted, “Lu Yi Ye, I can’t hold on any longer!”

With that, she shot into the distance.

She had no choice but to retreat. If she stayed there, she would have to use her power, and she would be at risk of becoming a Corpse Race mber.

When she landed on a Spirit Peak, she turned around and saw that the pursuit was still intense.

The two figures were moving around rapidly. The Saber Lights continuously flickered, and the Golden Corpse King never stopped growling.

Ju Jia clumsily tried to catch up to them, but his attempt was in vain. He couldn’t even stop the Golden Corpse King.

Lan Zi Yi was puzzled. All three of them were supposedly struck with Source Corpse Poison. Lu Ye could hold on for a longer ti because his heritage was ample. Nevertheless, why was Ju Jia able to persevere for far longer than Lan Zi Yi?

Having no ti to ponder, she hurriedly fished out a transmission stone and infused her power into it. Then, she held it near her mouth and said weakly, “Save , Hua Ci!”

The transmission stone was given to her by Lu Ye previously. Everybody from the Jiu Zhou team had one, and he had also given many stones to the people from Purple Star Palace.

The stones were ant to make it convenient for them to communicate with each other, but the items hadn’t been in use once. Lan Zi Yi didn’t expect that the first ti she used the stone, it was to call for help.

“Why are you completely unaffected?” The Golden Corpse King, who had been chased around, couldn’t take it anymore. Lu Ye was even more agile than him when in Beast Form, so he could never get rid of Lu Ye. Presently, his robust body didn’t give him a sense of safety. Instead, he felt terrible and embarrassed.

Initially, he thought that he could get out of this situation after Lu Ye was turned into a Corpse Race mber, but there were no signs of that happening.

As such, he was bewildered. He was fully aware of how potent his Source Corpse Poison was. The tall woman was forced to retreat, and the burly guy probably couldn’t hold on for long. On the other hand, Lu Ye didn’t seem affected by the Source Corpse Poison at all.

[How is that possible?] If this went on, he would be killed before Lu Ye was turned into a Corpse Race mber. Although Lu Ye’s attacks only caused so limited harm, the damage would amount to sothing unbearable as ti passed.

Presently, the back of Golden Corpse King had no more flesh left. He looked like a half-skeleton now.

Although the Corpse Race mbers were walking dead, they could be killed. The loss of blood and flesh had indeed caused him a lot of harm, and he had beco less mobile because of that. In turn, Lu Ye’s attacks would be more effective. The Golden Corpse King had fallen into a vicious cycle.

“You’re forcing to do this!” bellowed the Golden Corpse King as his expression turned hideous. He had been running around since he severed one of his arms, but he suddenly stopped in his tracks and extended his only arm into the Void.

At that mont, Lu Ye was gripped by a sense of danger. Although he had no idea what the Golden Corpse King was trying to do, the latter’s words suggested that an incredible move would be used.

While approaching the Golden Corpse King, Lu Ye took a deep breath and held out his saber in front of his face, ready to strike at any mont.

His already domineering aura turned even more savage, and it also carried with it so indescribable pressure and aggression.

The dark blade glowed, and there seed to be a sky of Stars behind Lu Ye.

Suddenly, the ground started shaking. A thing shot up from sowhere in the ruins, leaving behind a pit in the ground. The next mont, the Golden Corpse King grabbed the item.

The instant he ca into contact with the item, he froze as though he was struck by lightning. So fine, white fur started growing on his withered body, making him look like he was covered in a layer of snow. He looked strange.

Lu Ye squinted his eyes. He could see that the Golden Corpse King was holding a broken palm.

The broken palm was shrivelled. The incision was smooth, so it must’ve been cut off using a sharp weapon.

Although it was only a broken palm, it gave off a desolate feeling. It seed to be sothing from an ancient era.

Suddenly, Lu Ye ca to the realisation that it was the source of the Golden Corpse King’s strength.

He had been trying to look for this source, but his attempt was in vain. It wasn’t until the Golden Corpse King proactively summoned the broken palm.
