Lu Ye heard so noise from outside. Li Baxian and the others must’ve been alerted as well. Therefore, he quickly got to his feet and opened the door, after which he saw them looking up at the sky in shock. He followed their gazes and fell into a dazed state as well.
That was because the sight in the sky was even stranger than what he saw in the wooden house. For as far as he could see, a colossal continent was floating in the Void. The continent must be far away from the ground, but it already covered the entire sky, blocking the Sun from everyone’s sight. A huge shadow was cast upon the entire Cloud River Battlefield.
Wherever they were on the Cloud River Battlefield, they would see the floating continent upon looking up.
The floating continent didn’t seem complete. It looked like a part of an even larger land.
What astonished them was that the floating continent was slowly but firmly pressing down on the Cloud River Battlefield.
That was why ti and space were overlapping.
It was difficult to imagine why such a massive floating continent would be hovering in the Void all of a sudden. It was even harder to imagine what would happen if such a continent landed on the Cloud River Battlefield.
“What’s going on, Fourth Senior Brother?” Lu Ye asked grimly.
“I have no idea.” Li Baxian shook his head. He didn’t know any better than Lu Ye. Earlier, when he detected the anomaly while cultivating, he quickly left his house to have a look.
“Anyway, we can’t stay here any longer. Let’s go back to Jiu Zhou first, Little Junior Brother.” Li Baxian turned to look at him.
As Lu Ye felt the intensifying repulsive force, he nodded. “We have no choice but to go back to Jiu Zhou.”
The repulsive force apparently ca from the Heavens. Besides him, all the cultivators on the Cloud River Battlefield would be expelled. No one could stay there and look into the matter.
The shocking anomaly unnerved the wolves in Aliorate Valley. While Lu Ye and the others could go back to Jiu Zhou, these wolves were unable to leave the Cloud River Battlefield.
They were born here, and most of them would also die here. It was unless so cultivators decided to take them as Tad Beasts and make a Bonding Pact. Only then would these wolves be allowed to enter and leave the Cloud River Battlefield with those cultivators.
If there were only one to two Wolf Mutants, Lu Ye and the others could bring them back to Jiu Zhou. However, there were currently more than 300 wolves in the Arcane Glade, so they couldn’t take all of these wolves with them.

Lu Ye nodded. If this was indeed a calamity, other than the cultivators who could go back to Jiu Zhou, there would be no more living creatures on the Cloud River Battlefield. Even all the cities would be destroyed.
As they spoke, the repulsive force around them intensified.
The view around Lu Ye shifted. He realised that he was being sent out of the Battlefield.
When he ca to his senses, he was already in the Sanctum of Providence in the Crimson Blood Sect.
Two figures suddenly appeared beside him. One was Ju Jia, and the other was Hua Ci, who had set off to Five Poisons Pond.
Naturally, all the cultivators who were expelled from the Cloud River Battlefield would appear in the Sanctums of Providence in their respective Sects.
Hua Ci seed to be eating sothing as her cheeks were bulging. When she suddenly appeared in Jiu Zhou, she was perplexed. She quickly gulped down the food and asked, “What’s going on, Lu Ye?”
“I have no idea.”
“Why have all of you returned?” Shui Yuan asked. She had detected their auras, so she ca over to have a look.
Ever since they ascended to the Cloud River Realm and entered the Cloud River Battlefield, only Lu Ye had returned twice before. Hua Ci and Ju Jia had always been staying on the Cloud River Battlefield. As such, Shui Yuan was surprised that the three of them appeared together.
“Second Senior Sister!” They saluted her.
“Sothing has happened on the Cloud River Battlefield.” Lu Ye explained to her about the anomaly. “Do you know what the floating continent is? Why were we expelled from the Cloud River Battlefield?”
Shui Yuan was astounded. “That’s strange.”
After giving it so thought, she said, “Well, I’ve heard Old Man ntioning sothing similar before. Since it was only a brief ntion, I didn’t ask him any questions. Why don’t you go and ask him? Since he’s old, he’s supposed to know sothing.”
Lu Ye dipped his head. “I’ll look for the Sect Master now.”
“There’s no rush,” Shui Yuan said with a smile. “Old Man is talking to a guest now. Look for him later.”
Lu Ye was worried. “Has the Sect Master snatched away a disciple from so Sect?”
Ever since his first success, the Sect Master had been doing that for the past few years. Now, Tang Yi Feng was the most unwelco person among the major Sects in Bing Zhou.

“Fourth Senior Brother has said that it’s supposedly not a calamity. Don’t worry about it.” Lu Ye placated him.
A crestfallen Ju Jia only nodded in response.
“Old Man is supposedly done with the discussion. Let’s go.” Shui Yuan seed to have detected sothing.
Since she was a Divine Ocean Realm Master, her perception was naturally more sensitive than that of Lu Ye and the others.
They followed Shui Yuan as they left the Sanctum of Providence and headed to the Council Hall. They then waited outside.
Soon, the Sect Master’s voice was heard coming from inside. “You have to think it through, Little Friend. The Crimson Blood Sect isn’t powerful in Bing Zhou, so you might not want your Sect to be attached to us. If you’re interested, I can recomnd you to so top Sects. I’m sure they’ll do a favour.”
Another person said, “I’ve made up my mind. I ca straight to you upon arriving in Jiu Zhou. Other Sects might be more powerful than yours, but we only acknowledge one person and your Sect. I’ve told you everything, so you already know the reason why I’d like my Sect to be a part of yours.”
They were leaving the hall after they were done with the discussion.
“In that case, I’ll choose a good date and make an announcent to everyone in Bing Zhou.”
“Thanks, Sect Master Tang.”
Outside the hall, Lu Ye’s expression turned awkward. That was because he found the voice coming from the hall familiar.
Hua Ci was astounded as well while standing beside him. She poked Lu Ye’s waist and whispered, “Am I hallucinating?”
“I might be hallucinating as well…”
Shui Yuan was puzzled. “What are you talking about?”
Before Lu Ye could respond to her, the Sect Master stepped out of the hall.
At first glance, the Sect Master looked like a righteous person. Any stranger would instantly take a liking to him. When Lu Ye saw the Sect Master for the first ti, he felt that the old man was reliable. That was why he asked for his help.
There was another person standing beside the Sect Master.
She appeared to be clean-cut and was clad in male clothing. While retaining the softness of a woman, she was also as firm as a man. These contrasting qualities made her unique.
When she lifted her gaze, she saw Lu Ye looking at her in shock. With a smile, she said, “How are you, Senior Brother Lu?”
Hua Ci batted her eyes as she couldn’t believe what she was seeing. It felt like a dream to see the woman right before her eyes.
Lu Ye was flabbergasted, so he forgot to greet the woman.
“What’s wrong? Are you shocked to see , Senior Brother?”
To say that he was shocked was an understatent.
“Why are you here, Palace Master Pang?” Lu Ye was bewildered.
He had thought about the Peerless Continent becoming a Hidden Realm in Jiu Zhou that would allow Cloud River Realm Masters to enter the place and get so training. As such, he had never expected Pang Huanyin to appear in Jiu Zhou and even co to the Crimson Blood Sect.
After giving it so thought, he reckoned that he shouldn’t be surprised. Since there were Divine Opportunity Columns in the Peerless Continent, a connection had been established between the Continent and the Heavens in Jiu Zhou. While Jiu Zhou cultivators could go to the Peerless Continent, the people from the Peerless Continent should be able to co to Jiu Zhou as well.
“There’s no more Peerless Continent from now on. We’re also part of Jiu Zhou now,” Pang Huanyin said with a smile. She was apparently pleased to see Lu Ye’s expression.
“What do you an?” Lu Ye was puzzled.
“How should I explain it?” Pang Huanyin pondered for a mont before continuing, “After you were gone, I got an instruction from the Heavens asking if I was willing to rge the Peerless Continent with Jiu Zhou. Certainly, I was more than happy with it. Then, we put in so effort and moved the entire Peerless Continent to Jiu Zhou. The journey was fantastical. If you want to know more, I’ll be sure to tell you about it.”
“What?” Lu Ye was bewildered. It was a broken continent, not a Human. How did they even move it?
Soon, he realised sothing. “Is the floating continent above the Cloud River Battlefield… the Peerless Continent?”
Hua Ci ca to her senses as well. If that was the Peerless Continent, it explained what had happened.
“That was what the instruction said. Since the Source of the Peerless Continent is incomplete, it doesn’t have the right to beco part of Jiu Zhou. So, it can only rge with the Cloud River Battlefield. When it’s done, the cultivators on the Cloud River Battlefield can head to the Peerless Continent. As for how the two will be rged, I have no idea. I got permission from the Heavens and ca to your Sect first.”
Moreover, she had directly appeared in the Sanctum of Providence in the Crimson Blood Sect. Apparently, the Heavens had helped her with it. Otherwise, as a local of the Peerless Continent, she couldn’t have found the Crimson Blood Sect so soon.
