Lu Ye replied, “It’s another identity of mine.”
Upon hearing that, Nian Yuexian put on a smile. It was only normal for anyone to have a different identity when venturing into the outside world. Just like how she called herself Shui Xian, Lu Ye would also disguise himself as Niu ng sotis.
Lu Ye decided to heed his advice, so he kept the Inviolable Saber. Given his figure, he didn’t look like a Spell Cultivator while wearing the Red Dragon Warsuit. It was fine, though. “They’re the patrollers of Lone Cloud City. I’ll deal with them. Stay put,” Ying Wuji whispered and moved forward.
Lu Ye pulled up the Spirit Boat and rubbed his fingers. Seated in front of him, Nian Yuexian stared fixedly at Ying Wuji’s figure. As soon as sothing went wrong, she would launch a fatal attack.
Not far away from them, Ying Wuji briefly talked to the patrollers, who soon left the place.
“Let’s go,” Ying Wuji said.
Only then did Lu Ye drive his Spirit Boat forward as they continued their journey.
When they occasionally bumped into patrollers from nearby Passes, Ying Wuji would deal with them. The journey had been smooth sailing.

As Ying Wuji narrated the tale, Lu Ye listened in silence and took a look at Nian Yuexian, who was seated in front of him.
It was no wonder that Nian Yuexian had been silent ever since they arrived at Desolate Plain.

Even when he returned to the Sect occasionally, he usually wouldn’t see the Sect Master. On the other hand, Shui Yuan was only concerned about how he was doing and whether he had co across any danger. Naturally, no one would tell him a past event like this.
