The scavenger imitated Sun Hang's actions, bending down to dip a finger into the stain on the ground, then instinctively bringing it toward her mouth.
"Are you tired of living?" Sun Hang glanced at her, asking sowhat speechlessly.
"Huh?"
"Even if we don't discuss whether there are any strange things underground in this mall, this syrup has been spilled here for quite so ti now. Do you really dare to taste it?" Sun Hang said.
People who dare to put whatever they pick up into their mouths casually are either like Sun Hang, possessing an unbeatable digestive system and almost immune to toxins, or they're those one-in-a-million extrely lucky ones—those who happen to eat only non-toxic things, or even if there's poison, at most it just gives them diarrhea without posing a life threat.
And aside from these two kinds of people, the rest are probably in line waiting for reincarnation...
"I... I saw you also..."
"I'm a Hunter, are you?" Sun Hang rolled his eyes at her.
"I..." The scavenger stood up timidly, rubbing the finger that touched the syrup against the hem of her clothes and then clenched her hands tightly.
"You said that braggart didn't run away after seeing these 'bloodstains' but searched around this underground marketplace before leaving, right?" Sun Hang asked.

"At least he did co here; otherwise, he wouldn't have seen these 'bloodstains.'" Sun Hang said, "As for the latter part, we have to divide it into two scenarios."
"Which two scenarios?"
"The first scenario: he discovered these so-called 'bloodstains' were just syrup spilled from a beverage shop, but he intentionally deceived you by saying they were bloodstains, to scare you away from scavenging the underground marketplace, thus keeping the resources here for himself."
Sun Hang continued, raising a second finger: "The second scenario: he didn't actually figure out whether these were bloodstains or not, and ran away as soon as he saw them and then randomly found sothing else elsewhere to deceive you into thinking it was scavenged from the underground marketplace. This scenario is simpler; it's just bragging and showing off."
"..." The scavenger looked at the 'bloodstains' on the ground and then at Sun Hang, without responding.
"Do you know that person?"
"No... not really." The scavenger shook her head, "He only stayed in our unfinished building for a week before leaving."
In the end, she added: "I've never talked to him... Besides exchanging supplies and information, I rarely talk to others."

"Yes... yes, right?" The scavenger's brain was already showing signs of overload.

The more Sun Hang analyzed, the more he felt the syrup on the ground might actually be spilled by him.
But this brings the problem full circle.
