The "heat" emitted by the mysterious watch, to be precise, it's a sensation that only exists in perception. As she landed, Wang Xiyi's arms pierced through the side of the van, her sharp dragon claws ripped to the sides, tearing the tal car door apart like cardboard.
There was nothing inside the van, only a worn-out briefcase thrown on the back seat.
The sharp dragon claws retracted back into the palm, and Wang Xiyi picked up the briefcase.
The leather surface of the briefcase was hot as if it had been roasted on an iron plate, exactly like the mysterious watch on Wang Xiyi's wrist.

Looking through the several massive holes she had punched through with her body, Wang Xiyi realized that she seed to have crossed several streets... Hundreds of ters away, at the wide-open door of the Senyang Aquarium, a giant tentacle was slowly retracting into the shadows.
"An octopus... a cold-blooded animal like ... No wonder I couldn't see any heat source... Hey, Yang Qi?" Wang Xiyi paused, realizing her earpiece had been lost during the impact.
Gazing at the ruins before her, Wang Xiyi knew that the mysterious creature lurking in the aquarium wouldn't give her the chance to slowly search for her earpiece.
"Since it's an octopus, then I'll fly to the sk... ugh!" Just as Wang Xiyi spread her wings, a sharp pain erupted from her wings, causing her to stagger and nearly fall to the ground, a groan escaping from her throat.
